My husband says you will probably need new glow plugs , diesel pressure in the injector rail and new battery . My husband says it will start if all those are working right. He’s had land rovers for years we have a 90 now too. Good luck 🤞
What an edge of the seat video! you accomplished so much. Luce is so beautiful and filling out so nicely. What wonderful parents you are. Thank you for your videos.
Luca I thought it was a type of jeep, but even better a Land Rover👍😊 what a sweet project for you. It sure has brought a huge Smile to your face, which you have much to smile about these days.👍😊❣️ Daddy Claudio snoozing while Luca got the Rover ready to move 👍Smart 😊❣️ glad you were able to move it successfully. Now getting ready for Renovations, oh boy exciting.😃🦋👍❣️ Little Luce is so precious and changing daily, your family is lovely. Thank you for sharing, Sarah glad you have your parents around so they are able to come help here and there 👍❣️😊🦋 Take care and Yes, Life is beautiful 🌷🌺🌸🥀
Off grid Land Rover !! What a find for you Luca !! Sara great job , you guys are so great together !! Love that old ride !! And baby girl is growing quickly oh my she’s so precious and beautiful ❤️
Did you hear the fuel pump prime when you turned the key over? Luca, you did really well setting your future self up. Your life is amazing. Lucky land is amazing. You keep pulling things out from nowhere. Like magic it gets bigger and bigger each episode. The views are breathtaking. I love Daddy's nap spot. Love your beautiful family.
It's wonderful seeing father and son working together just like when they were young and son got his first car. Great video. So much enjoyment from each of you to us, your fans
I love seeing your sweet baby! That effort and success with getting the Land Rover up the hill was incredible! Papa Claudio to the rescue! Sara, Luca and Luce, you're a beautiful family. ❤️
I can't believe it even turns over at all. Luce is soooo beautiful. She seems like SUCH a good baby, too. Good luck getting the car going. Daddy Claudio and Mama Bruna are such a big help.
Luca, after 10 years diesel subjected to extreme temperatures, sometimes gels and then loses its viscosity to flow not to mention the contamination of the fuel and its inability to ignite.
Ciao, beautiful friends. It was a delight to see Daddy Claudio lying in the sun, and also little Luce doing the same thing, while Mama Sara and Daddy Luca were working so hard to try to start the Land Rover. It gave me a smile, and one I needed badly. What will you do with that huge vehicle when you have restored it? Sending all my love to all of you 🚘. You will get it started. That could even get it moved after 11 years was a huge feat!! Hugs and love ❤️
Luca & Sara You guys have outstanding work ethics I like the way no matter how hard a project is you stay with it until you complete it. Luca when I see you out their working in your yard/garden with just garden hand tools no power rotor tiller it inspires me to get out and start work even (though I'm almost 80 years old) in my garden getting it ready for planting.
Good luck with your renovations, guys. Baby Luce is getting bigger! With any car sitting that long, make sure you use fresh diesel, the pump is pumping, there are no leaks in the fuel line and any filters are not clogged. (no air in the line) The glow plugs glowing optimally. The timing hasn't moved. Check also for any updated replacement parts like an electric fuel pump so you don't need to air out the fuel line. Take care. Ciao amici!🙂
Oh phooey! 😋 I thought it was a pizza oven!!!🤗 Anyway, at least it saved that lovely spot for you all these years.😘😸 (Loved sleeping grandpa! Adorable!!)💕
That was quite an accomplishment! Amazing from how it just barely fit between the metal fence posts to how you moved it into place onto your little patio under the gazebo, & then, with Claudio's help, managing to get it to move out into into the yard, & then up the driveway - each step of the way by such narrow margins, to get it just where you wanted it. Bravo to you all. Using a tent for storing stuff from the house is what I've been considering, to get everything out to clean & renovate the house. I think a trailer would be more secure for my needs, but costly, & I don't have a truck to move it around. It could stay in place & later be used as a garden shed. Later I could annex some greenhouse space & create an oasis. "Baby Girl" Luca is growing so fast & is quite beautiful. Her eyes have gotten so big! We need to see more of her!
Hurray for Daddy Claudio. What a blessing he is for you. You obviously work well together. Luce is growing and so beautiful! She has gorgeous parents so it is not surprising. Love the LandRover and am amazed how good the engine looked after sitting for so long. We look forward to seeing Grandma Bruna with Luce I know she is so proud of her and with both of you.
We love your videos and laughed so hard when you were yelling brake! In addition to the other land Rover comments, drain the old oil and put in new oil and a new filter. If you can clean or replace the injectors, that would also help. They are probably gummed up. Best of luck and looking forward to your new adventures!!
Great vid folks! You can check that the fuel solenoid has 12v when starting - this valve turns fuel on and off for diesel pump when you turn on or off the key. Also you can remove the injector pipes (loosen them ) and check that the system has no air in it. There should be a hand operated lift pump between the tank and the fuel filters - filters will have bleeding points to remove air. Good luck!
I love Daddy Claudio! What a sport and what determination you have to continue to try new things! Great job! What a beautiful car! Also Luce is so precious. My new grandson is 11 days old already. The days go so fast.
Aces! There's always a way! I I suggest checking the fuel pump and fuel filter. Also, I would worry that the belts may have deteriorated. Not an easy project, but absolutely doable! Good luck. Dad! Luce is looking more beautiful every week and is so alert! Enjoy!
Repairing old Landys is what I do for a living, That looks in pretty good condition since it's been sitting for so long. With the 2.5td engine, keep good oil in it and change regularly as they are prone to failing with poor oil. other than the servicing they are good, but slow. Stick a roof tent on it and go exploring! My 1997 Defender is not far off completion and Italy is one of the planned destinations for my overland trips, if you're free, I'd love to say hello! I can also recomment a few great facebook groups that are specifically Land Rover restoration groups, I admin one and you would be very welcome. Get it started, little at a time you will have a lovely vehicle and always have friends and family in the world wide community! :-D
I take it you didn't get it started, roll the glass fuses until you get power through them, they are notorious for poor connections, you need the oil pressure lamp and alternator lamps on or it will not be supplying fuel to the injection pump as it's in stop mode as the power goes from the starter switch through the fuses to the dash and to the pump. I'd say if you can get the dash lights working and check the wire on the back of the pump for power, it'll run. turning it over a fair few times will help get the oil flowing up to the turbo, which you do need as it's possibly seized after 10 years. All parts are available for that vehicle so it's just time and spare money! :-D
I haven't watched an episode in about 2 months so I don't wanna miss to congratulate your on your daughter! Great to see your happy family! Looking forward to your new projects and watching along! I have a few episodes to cath-up as well ;-)
Luca, you have so much determination and creativity! I am impressed that you were able to get the Land Rover moved- that took creative thinking! Sara, motherhood suits you so well! You look happy and healthy, even though I am sure like all new Moms, you are probably exhausted! This is a beautiful time of year to have a new baby. Outdoor naps in fresh air and outdoor projects feel so good! Luce has changed so much since last video, she is beginning to see the world around her. She is so sweet! I look forward to her weekly changes and seeing the progress of your gardens and your reno! 💗💗💗
Good morning Beautiful Sara, Luca, Lucha, and Beautiful People. Wow, an old Land Rover! Your baby is growing fast. 🍼 Have a bless and wonderful week! 🙏🏾🚐🏔️🚙🍼❤️🤗
You have a lot going on. I’m excited to see what you do with the Land Rover. I’m sure it will take you on wonderful local adventures! Luce ❤️ is growing so fast and she is beautiful. Life is BEAUTIFUL!
Sara’s memories of the starter not working. 😂 and I think I knew what “frena” meant by just watching and listening. 😂 Luce is beautiful and growing already!💕 good luck with all the renovations, take care! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well done all three of you on getting the Land Rover moved out of such a tight space! Sara remember you are feeding another little human so take care of yourself and rest up. I'm sure you are, but it's still tiring caring for and feeding a baby, on top of everything else that needs doing. Little Luce is adorable and getting so alert. I loved the tiny hand shot, so sweet.
I'm from Oregon & I'm a Samurai nut but always thought those Land Rovers were cool & being a Turbo Diesel makes it super cool, put it on the back burner but don't EVER sell it, you will regret it.Thankr for sharing
Luce has changed so much in such a short time!!...beautiful eyes and such a sweet yawn!!...Luca has quite a project on his hands but glad to see that he had some help when needed!! Best to the 3 of you!!
Lucca, you are just like my husband who always has owned and worked on older vehicles. We have a 1989 Jeep Wagoneer Limited that he won't part with because the body has no rust, engine is good and he won't drive it in the snow. We also have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee that I call the "organ donor" because he uses it for parts for the Wagoneer and other past vehicles of the same body and engine. He even has made parts for the cars when he couldn't get replacements. I have helped him to work on these vehicles many times because my hands are small and can get in the engines easier to remove or install parts.
That Landrover is a beautiful car and I did drive one in the army, but as a Jeep driver now, I get some satisfaction from a Jeep rescuing a Landrover, whose design is based on the Jeep Wrangler. Looking forward to seeing some future episodes of getting it running!
Ah Luca, to see your eyes shining bright in anticipation when you tried to start that precious LandRover! Like a little boy in Christmas. But then you realized you have other responsibilities and left your boy toy for later. And Sara, I usually keep watching your beautiful face throughout the videos, but this time I couldn't keep my eyes out of baby Luce. She's so cute!😍 Hugs from Patagonia, Argentina.
Luce is growning so fast! It's so wonderful to see her beautiful face and so nice she's enjoying fresh air as she naps. This video was such an adventure, but it also shows how no matter how old you are, your parents will always come to your rescue :)
Hello from South Africa Beautiful Family. After standing for all those years there will most likely be air in the fuel system which will need to be bled out. the fuel filter could also be gummed up after that long period which will prevent fuel flowing freely. The fuel lift pump on the side of the engine should have a lever to manually pump the fuel. slacken the bleed screw on the filter housing and manually pump fuel until you have only diesel coming out of the bleeder. Also you can slacken the fuel nut on the front injector to see if fuel comes out when trying to start the engine. I think that Defender will have the TDi 200 motor. The next generation TDi 300 could bleed air with just cranking the motor which made life much easier. Good luck with the restoration.
First I must always say you are a beautiful glowing Mommy! The baby is so adorable such a pretty sweet little face. Daddy you take great care of your girls! My husband is losing his mind his is a big car guy. He lives for project cars. Once he was working on a BMW restoring it and got a second BMW for parts and I was so tired of seeing it in my driveway I said I’m going shopping when I come home the parts car better be gone. I came home to find the entire parts car was dismantled and in my basement. He did say that the frame was gone so why was I upset! Shall I send my husband to come over and help restore the vehicle!
Luca a budding entreproneur in his twenties...buying, renovating and selling most things will be sure to bring a profit and how great that you raised enough to buy your house... travel etc... You have both achieved so much todate and there is still so much of the world to see... good luck to you all in everything you do x
Well done getting the car moved safely! I enjoyed watching the beautiful scenery from your property while you worked on the car! Lucia is so wide eyed and beautiful! Love from Vermont
It's been 10 years or so, maybe a nest is built inside your exhaust pipe somewhere, that's the only thing I can think of, mice, chipmunks and other small rodents can build in tiny places too!!! Thank you for sharing!! Best of luck to get the land rover going!!! I can't wait to see!!!☺❤ much love to you al!
You work like a well oiled machine!! Small things make such a huge difference. Looking forward to future episodes. You 3 make a beautiful family and I have a difficult time waiting for the next installment!! Love and hugs from sunny Arizona 💖😎💖

Isn’t Daddy Claudio now Grandaddy Claudio? Luca you are so talented in all you do. A joy to watch.

Oh my goodness Luca! That was a lot of hard labor!! But you did it!! Amazed it fit through the pergola!
Luce is such a beautiful baby! What an achievement moving the Land Rover from such a small space, well done!
Your daughter has such big, beautiful eyes. I enjoy seeing the activities you do around your property (especially the garden!) Have a wonderful week.
Lovely video thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Nice land Rover. Baby is so sweet.
Wow what a special truck!!! We love it!! Thanks again for this vlog and have a great week. Oh luce was priceless with her cute yawn!!
Luca, after 10 years diesel subjected to extreme temperatures, sometimes gels and then loses its viscosity to flow not to mention the contamination of the fuel and its inability to ignite.
Fabulous project, a Landrover being re-born 😃 Look after each other 💕 Trev n Sue
Wow you are a genius 👏 🙌 I would never have thought to move a vehicle like that. 👍 incredible 👏 😍

Me, too!
Clogged fuel filter? Water in the fuel? Air in the fuel system. Great truck! Good luck.
Sara is a ROCKSTAR!
Always impressed with all your diverse skills. Xxxxx
Oh Sarah, I can feel your love and happiness across the globe.

It had air in the system, otherwise it would have started. You needed to bleed all the air first
Great job guys!!! Glad daddy Claudio was there to help. That space looks a big to store things. Love and be safe!!!🤗😘🌼🇻🇪

The work around the house never ends ! It definitely builds character. Nothing like a good renovation to test your relationship.
Daddy Claudio and Daddy Luca make a good team! Mamma Bruna as well…. Family is the best! 🥰
Luca, you have so much determination and creativity! I am impressed that you were able to get the Land Rover moved- that took creative thinking! Sara, motherhood suits you so well! Can't wait to next Sunday
Good morning Beautiful Sara, Luca, Lucha, and Beautiful People. Wow, an old Land Rover! Your baby is growing fast. 🍼 Have a bless and wonderful week! 🙏🏾🚐🏔️🚙🍼❤️🤗
I didn't guess a Land Rover! 💘🤙
Love the Land Rover. Especially that diamond plating is just perfect. It looks like it just just needs a new fuel pump or check the connections to it.
What a fun project……and wee Lucia is learning how to star. Look at those eyes.
You have a lot going on. I’m excited to see what you do with the Land Rover. I’m sure it will take you on wonderful local adventures! Luce ❤️ is growing so fast and she is beautiful. Life is BEAUTIFUL!
Hello beautiful people. Lovely to see you all. Luce is a little darling. Great to see the land-rover. All the best with it Geraldine England xx
Sara’s memories of the starter not working. 😂 and I think I knew what “frena” meant by just watching and listening. 😂 Luce is beautiful and growing already!💕 good luck with all the renovations, take care! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How many critters were calling that Land Rover home? 🐿🐭😄
Very cool Land Rover Luca!
Looks like another great adventure is beginning 👍.
It's only fitting that a jeep would be the vehicle to rescue a land rover😁
Good afternoon you three, from Derbyshire England 😍😍😍
I enjoy your videos so much!
You guys really do love a project ! Luce grows more every day, she’s clearly doing very well on mother’s milk 🥰 great video guys x
Wow Luca! Had no idea what was under there 🤣 well hidden! Baby Luce is getting big, healthy for sure 😇❤ much love to you three 🤗😘❤ beautiful people ❤
Lucca, you are just like my husband who always has owned and worked on older vehicles. Luce is so adorable.Good luck with all your projects especially the machina.
Happy to see you and I can't wait to see baby girl's changes since last Sunday. Greetings from Florida!
Would love to see the defender running again! But Luce is much more important, so don't forget to enjoy every moment with her!
I thought it was a spaceship 🤣
Ah Luca, to see your eyes shining bright in anticipation when you tried to start that precious LandRover! Like a little boy in Christmas. Hello from South Africa Beautiful Family. Dear Luca, you tenacity and skill set is over the moon, so impressive. Such team work. ... I think Luce has papa's eyes. 😊
Love watching your plans come to fruition. Little Luce is growing sooooo fast. She is beautiful. Keep up the fabulous work! 🥰
'Where there is a will there is a way' Amazing!

She growing so fast and she is so adorable guys, I think the fuel filter is a good place to start. See you next time! 💕
Luca a budding entreproneur in his twenties...buying, renovating and selling most things will be sure to bring a profit and how great that you raised enough to buy your house... travel etc...
