The M50 is a stripped down version of M3 and does not have Karma and only 4 small buttons for triggering sounds. But yeah the M50 has plenty of the programs that M3 has BUT has the cheapest toy keybed. I have both of them and they both have there place.
This thing has an XY axis touch expression screen, knobs are yesterday. The whole purpose of this video to my understanding was to demonstrate the various sounds and features of this keyboard through playing it, which would be askew if he spent a bunch of time mooging out on it like a nerd. I'm frankly glad he's not scooping a bunch of filters and getting all dubstep with it

Hi does anyone know if you can get editor software for macOS Catalina as I've looked but no joy?
I don’t think you can install any editor for this synth.. it’s been out of production for at least 10 yrs now.. and surely not supported anymore
(Sorry... It says its for Mojave so don't know if it works, I don't use macs so idea about compatibility modes etc.)
Oh, YT removed my previous comment as it had a download link from the Korg M3 page but as mentioned it was for the Mojave version.
Do you have to fix it, specially the screen, every now and then? I want to know, because I'm maybe buying it!
Mine is perfect also today! ;) but the touch issue is very common on M3

I prefer the original keybed, so you can’t lose one midi din on the back ;) but if you prefer yes, you can use as a desktop unit

@@DKS-SYNTH-LAB M50 has the cheapest casio keybed in the world, Korg ruined a nice synth engine by doing that.
Great new age sound and that's good for a backing but still... you want knobs to put your mark on it and not just be a 90s organist.
