I used these guys when i stayed at the Champlung Mas and never had a problem....they wouldnt touch it after it went through the counting machine and then asked me to count it for myself again....we are back there in May and will use them again...

The Pad Bar on Bene Lane, is Amazing in price on beer and food. For such a new restaurant it is really good. I feel sorry for them a lot of people walk down Bene Lane and get to that bend and then stop but it's just around the bend. So good place

Right before this I was at BMC with the camera and ended up so pissed off with the idiot trying to dodgy up the calculator that I couldn't use the footage due to me not knowing whether to publicly shame or not. I mean, I was so confused. He was hitting the % sign four times in a row? Bottom line, it was a much worse rate as mentioned in this. That said, this was a simple rupiah to dollar situation but imho... I think this dude might be alright? He's gone to a lot of lengths to claim so and even the mirror??? I was in Kuta a week ago walking around some of these streets, oh the memories LOL The Bali bombing memorial is lit up like a disco at night, changing colours, but its lovely and clean now. Over Kuta though but there is a great public bus system now called Kurra Kurra, that is a great way to escape for the day for a 40k $4, return fare. Nusa Dua, Sanur, Seminyak and many others. Kuta has some great department stores though, Mataharis in Kuta square, also at Galleria Mall, Carrefore. Marks and Spencer near Waterbom Park.
One day I got on the bus and it took me from Galleria Mall, (where the terminal is) to Kuta Beach and it was just me on the bus, it was an awesome way to see streets I had never been down before, it took me out near the airport but I was so impressed with their service. Still take taxis and go out with drivers , but bus was great to go to shopping malls and up to Seminyak for the day to escape Kuta.
I hired from The Sun Hotel and Spa, Jalan Bene, AUD4 per day, new Honda Vario. I've ridden all my life (almost) but if you haven't, well... up to you. :) W
