James for future reference when purchasing high heels get them a half to a whole size larger because your feet swell during the day which is part of the reason they hurt. Many actresses and celebrities and famous people get them in a larger size and then they either put in either a Doctor soles gel insole or a Maxie period pad that gives them extra cushioning for their toes and feet. They also make a cushion that goes in the back of the shoe to help keep the back from slipping or causing a blister. To help prevent you from slipping on the different kinds of flooring rub the bottom of the shoes with sandpaper or on a rough surface like brick or concrete.
I applaud you for your conviction and help to bring to the forefront the fact that drag isn't just "throw a dress on". Using your platform to promote the art of drag is a wonderful contribution, so thank you from this not so humble veteran of almost 30 years as a professional drag queen. XOXO Diva D

That gown was gorgous. It really accentuated your shoulders and collar bones very nicely. On the corset: I don't know if you wore it at all in preparation but you didn't say anything to it so I assume you didn't. It's really important to season your corset. Meaning you wear it at a slight reduction (max 2 inches) for 2 hours a day for two weeks or so. After that you can start increasing your time of wear and reduction. This gives the corset time to adjust to your body and it gives your body time to adjust to being corseted. Wearing a corset shouldn't be painfull. Just take your time with it. Also wear a liner under your corset next time (a tight tank top will do as well). It will help with the skin in the back and it protects the corset from sweat and stuff. Corsets don't really like moisture. If you want to know more about corseting maybe check out Lucy's Corsetry here on youtube :)

@@jodyknight yes, exactly. A corset liner is essentially a tube top except it goes under your breasts (if your corset is an underbust model) and all the way down to your underwear. Because of how corsets are made its not realistic to try and wash them. So instead you can wash the liner.

Just wear it around the house for like 2 hours a day going about your daily life and that so that the boning starts to mould to your body shape. Otherwise its gonna be SUPER uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time (as James found) because the boning isn’t custom to your body and it will start to cut in. Other than that the look was sister stunning omgggg!!!!
