Prelude

In stark contrast to its predecessor, Prelude #140 is quite relaxed and feels--to me--very hopeful and content. This impression lasts for a minute when a little doubt or anxiety creeps in as the piece transitions to its relative minor key. The change in mood evolves for another minute at which time the key changes again and the hope returns.
