    I live only a very short distance from the Performance Center. I’ve had the honor and privilege of bumping into many WWE wrestlers in my day to day life. Many live in my neighborhood or in the adjacent neighborhood. Kevin Steen happens to be one of these wrestlers. I’ve met him several times at school ( our daughters attended the same school) and other neighborhood events .
    Kevin is by far without a doubt the nicest guy around.. he is an incredible dad and just an all around decent human being… he is great with the kids when he gets recognized. When the camera is off he’s just a short tattooed dad who smiles a lot.

    The best promos have an air of truth to them and this is a perfect example. Kevin was proud and over the moon for his best friend.. But it's only human nature for him to question himself during it all... Wonder why he wasn't signing a contract as well beside his friend but instead standing and watching his friend succeed where he had yet to. He was out to prove a point.. That he too belonged.. And going after Sami well.. That's just some friendly competition and there's nothing wrong with that...

    usually wwe don't go for wrestlers with thios body but thankfully they saw something special in this guy and he proved that he deserves it ! some of the things kevin does in wwe some high flyers can't do

    It’s crazy to see how much he improved over the years. Even in this video you can see the talent, but a raw talent, while now he’s a polished diamond

  • @SuperSaiyanRome
    @SuperSaiyanRome 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Crazy that even tho he was in ROH, and did all the indie stuff, that WWE tryout was still the hardest thing he ever did. I still think KO would be better on Raw tbh. His feud with the bloodline is cool but he could be WHC or even WWE champ again

    • @MinimiMax
      @MinimiMax 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The WWE tryout is notoriously hard. They immediately attempt to eliminate those who aren't cut out for it. And I honestly think it is something that many people in the indy scene aren't exactly used to and that's why a lot of people with other sports backgrounds tend to get through, because they are familiar with the grind.

    That sharp sudden scream of I’m jealous!!! Is what really sealed it…. If he doesn’t scream like that and just keeps the same tone then it falls flat…. He had a flame going but that scream was the gasoline that made it a fire

    When he showed up on Raw with the NXT title, I was convinced he was as good as he said he was, the way he commanded respect and attention. Like it didn't matter he was on a separate show, he was just as a threat, if not more so. He earned that match with Stone Cold.
