What an adventure back then pre globalization. Nice to see how up to date the trucks and buses in Iran was for the time. Unfortunately, one year later the Shan was no longer in charge, so sad for Iran. Thanks for sharing
a time when the world was at peace then the ayatollah was allowed to leave france and there has been nothing but trouble ever since. I liked the video it brought back a flood of memories

Lovely Swiss registered Volvo, back in the days when lorries from Switzerland were a regular sight in London's East End, Berna, Saurer and Volvo lorries among other makes parked up in all sorts of places around the dock areas and in the side streets near by. These days Swiss lorries are a lot rarer sight in the UK mainly being replaced by lorries from Eastern Europe.

I like a lot this videos. Do you know if this kind of long trips were usual in that days? Do you know where could we find some interesting literature about that? Thanks a lot!
Thank you very much for your recommendation! I've been investigating a bit on this subject, because I'm really surprised that such long distances are made with trucks. It is not usual today between Europe-Asia and I suppose it will be because of the political instability of these places as well as because of the increase in the price of fuel. However, as we can see, it seems that it was normal in the 60s and 70s.
