That's really cool that you're going for a complete collection. I may have to talk to you about a PS3 release in North America that I have been unable to verify if it was actually released or not.

Cross Edge is a JRPG that mixes a few game universes together like Disgaea and Darkstalkers. A few games I didn't see at this end of the alphabet that were I think PS3 physical exclusives that might be your type of interesting: Best of PSN vol.1- a compilation of Sound Shapes, Fat Princess, and Tokyo Jungle. Battle Princess of Arcadias- a unique hybrid of an action/beat 'em up and real-time strategy. There's nothing else quite like it. It had a Japan-only physical, but and english PSN release. Aquapazza- a 2D fighter that mixes together a few game universes like Agarest War and ai can't recall what else. Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock- a weird platform-puzzle with metroidvania structure. Not as much fun if you aren't into the show. Afrika- a slow-paced but interesting game where you are a nature photographer who takes missions from magazines and have to get quality photos of wild animals in Africa. There's a slightly cheaper Korean release in english called Hakuna Matata. I enjoy that you take the time to share memories and talk about the experience of playing where applicable. I enjoy hearing those personal opinions and stories more that just some footage and some blurb about rarity.
Just trying to answer some questions here. The PS3 super slim does play PS1 games. The DND games not sure what a sealed copy goes for, but there is a big box limited edition that is going for like 200$ and the regular version is like 85$. You like keeping your stuff sealed more than me so I would pick up a used copy. I was broke college kid when the 360/PS3 came out. I got a 360 at launch but it rrod and I returned it and end up using the money on groceries lol. Got a 360 again but long story short I just got into PS3 collecting just this past year. Mostly just going for JRPGs and shump stuff. But that DND is currently in route from Japan.
Thanks for answering some questions. I actually hate having sealed games. If I could trade them all away for open copies (plus a little extra) I would do it in a heartbeat. The PS3 is great to collect for, but I feel like it's just starting to get a little pricy
I think everything is pricey lol. My current issue with game collecting is if you don't buy something right away you end up having to over pay for it later on. Used to be able to wait on things and go for the older stuff but not so much these days.
I didn't realize DND had been D-listed from the store.....luckily I bought it years ago and it's sitting on my hard drive......I'm curious if that Japanese physical version has English.🤔
Yeah, that was my fear as well. However, I have bought so much garbage based on hype about not being able to find it later that I've realized that it's better just to wait and pay the $90 on Ebay for the Limited Run Game that is actually fun and good rather than spend $30 on 3 games that you might predict to be good... but all end up sucking really badly
@@RNGGamerYT I have changed how I collect these days, I was into reselling to fund my video game addiction so I was doing alot of speculating and buying stuff I'll never play. Now I just get stuff I will play one day and just rip the band-aid off and go ahead and open everything when I get it. Then I don't worry about opening things or not lol.
Had to sell my Phat PS3 release model when I emigrated and now wishing I never did. missed the chance for one recently on market place for 20Euro. Gutted. Excellent video and I'm slowly collecting PS3 Games again.
Glad to hear that you're collecting again! Keep looking, you'll find another fat PS3. There are still plenty around. Thanks for watching and commenting!
You're the first person to ever mention the auto focus, but I personally find it distracting myself. I'll try to edit the next video to minimize it. Thanks for letting me know
I actually got this game on release day. I hadn't implemented my random gaming system yet, so I just played it right away. If I had waited, I would have picked up the Director's Cut. Thanks for watching
so far amazing collection! i always love to see playstation stuff , i mostly collect playstation games and i have the same opinion i don't really like the cyberpunk vibes in games, but i must say cyberpunk 2077 on ps5 was a great game didn't expect it to love it that much as i did while playing it.
Thanks so much for watching! They announced a PS5 complete edition of Cyberpunk 2077, but I don't know if they'll put it out physically. I hope they do.
@@RNGGamerYT ooh could be after they released the DLC they announced. i just bought the cyberpunk ps4 physically copy for like 15 euros and just downloaded the ps5 version with that disc.
Thanks so much! Fair warning... part II is a little strange. While filming, I was coming down with a really bad illness. I was running a fever in episode 2 and didn't even know it. I get really loopy during that video
You didn't know your vid would turn out like this, but the zoom of the case up to the screen and the slow focus is migraine and nausea inducing. Awful idea - but I don't think you knew it would come out so awful. But yeah, I just set up my old PS3 slim again and am collecting what I gave away to friends. I've been playing PS4, PS5, Steam Deck and PC for so long, I forgot how enjoyably quirky the PS3 was. Some great great games are only avail on this system.
You're the first one to ever mention the focus thing on the camera. Sorry it caused you those issues. I had no idea it was doing that. I don't do that anymore, I cut out the auto focus. I'm still pretty new to the whole youtube thing. You're right! The PS3 is full of hidden gems!
You're the first person to ever comment on that joke! I thought it was so flipping funny. Thank you so much for liking it! And thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment
I was shocked that i was the first tbh, you certainly got a good guffaw off me 😂 UK collector of old Nintendo & PS1/2/3 here - focusing on the rarer PS3 titles currently with Yakuza Dead Souls, El Shaddai & Volume 2 of the G.o.W collection being recent additions. Not sure if this is something you're looking at but i'm trying to get g.o.t.y/ complete editions of titles (no voucher) variants of games as i feel they'll become more desirable if access to the store is removed?
@andrewrowley2867 I go for those goty editions ad well. They WILL be more valuable in the future. I don't know how they couldn't be. I still need yakuza dell cells. I've never actually seen it in person. I bet they remake it soon
@@RNGGamerYT if there ever is a remake then the ps3 edition should hopefully see a decrease, it happened with Demon's Souls when the ps5 remaster came out, same for the yakuza main series when the remastered collection was released iirc. Puppeteer is probably the one i'd like to see as a remaster, or 3d Dot Game Heroes :)
Hey, I love Playstation. I've got a collecting personality, and have £12,000 worth of 80s-00s Hip Hop memorabilia. Do you think its a good or bad time to start collecting PS3 games?
The PS3 is starting to get really hot. It's not the best time to start collecting for it. That was 5 years ago. However, I don't think it's going to get any easier in the future. If you want to collect for it, better sooner than later.
Also man, you have got to play Arkham Asylum, city and knight. All fantastic games, I’ve beaten the first two over 20 times each Im not exaggerating, I got the platinum for asylum on ps3 and ps4, the music and atmosphere is perfection, the combat is improved in every game, the cutscenes and voice acting are phenomenal!! Rest in peace to the legendary Kevin Conroy who is the one true Batman.
@@RNGGamerYT I mean Batman is one of the least superhero superhero’s. The first two games are real short, especially the first one, it can be finished in less than 6 hours. The combat isn’t the best in the first games, but seeing all of Batman’s villains and getting to the next cutscene is what pushed me to beat the game. The second game also has a fantastic story, and the 3rd game looks better graphically than some games that come out today, and you can drive the batmobile which overstays it’s welcome a bit, but is still fun.
@@RNGGamerYT I'm with you on the whole super hero games the only one I moderately liked was Spiderman Shattered dimensions cause you got to play as a few different versions of spider man and Carnage. The first Dragons Dogma was A good dungeon crawl but when Dark Arisen dropped it expanded the game exponentially and they added the dungeon crawl game from the first DD game which made it easy to attain better weapons and armor. The only problem with that was you pretty much had to do a whole play through of the game without going to the island where the dungeon crawl is cause toy have to level up massively, tried going through it at like level 20 during my first play through and got my ass handed to me lol. I like you have kept a lot of my older consoles and games going back to the first NES, I'm not a fan of digital only games as I like to have a physical copy to pop in and play when I want. Now that most of the PS3 servers are down some of those games are stunted meaning you can't do a full playthrough which kind of sucks TBH. and the shady stuff Xbox has been pulling over the last few years has kind of soured me on them, thank god a buddy of mine blocked my 360 and One from being bricked and I can still play on them.
Great video! I played GOW Ascension again last year. Only played it once when it first came out. I thought it was solid and looked great visually. The story was pretty weak however, by GOW standards anyways.
Enchanted Arms is good. I played it on the 360. Its a strategy RPG using monsters you collect. So think Pokemon with cool monsters and FF Tactics put together. The gameplay is okay. But the story is what got me through the game.
I always hope it'll click... To me, watching batman is like watching Elon Musk getting mad at a bunch of cooler people and spending all of his resources to ruin their good time 😆
Wow this guy really doesn’t understand comics or superheroes at all there’s lots of superheroes that are basically the common man like a ton of them so clearly you have no idea what you’re talking about
I mean, gamers and super heroes and comic books go hand-in-hand so, to each his own...... Oddly, gamers and professional wrestling seem to go together too...... Odd..... Maybe because the games are pretty much fighting games. Geez, I guess you were a 360 guy instead. I mean, everyone has their preferences but the thing is, just like the SEGA Genesis there were games where they were superior to their SNES counterparts and the PS3 was no exception to this rule. The PS3 got a lot of flac (understandably so, as Sony for whatever reason divided their system RAM, THE PLAYSTATION 3 HAD 512 MB OF RAM JUST LIKE THE 360 DID the think is, Sony split the RAM for dedicated purposes 256 for VRAM and 256 for system RAM which, had they gone with unified RAM like Microsoft did, framerate would've been the same. Where the 360 most definitely had problems was with screen tearing you can't underestimate, it can be equally as annoying as frame dips) but there were a lot of games where the PS3 version was superior to the 360 version. Once Naughty Dog released Uncharted 2: Among Thieves devs started to say: "Man, we're lazy and they're not gonna buy our excuses anymore." Tomonobu Itagaki said he didn't really understand what all the fuss was, he said the PS3 wasn't really difficult to develop for but he said the SEGA Saturn was, but even he could make the Saturn work. Shoot, man. I don't know. It's actually painful to watch this, you just don't like anything. Youre basically telling us you collect a bunch of crap. You're an artist, man. Games are a combination of all kinds of art. Why do you collect if you just don't like or want to be biased with everything. Why bother collecting? I guess you're just old and stubborn or closed-minded, I mean, you're honest, but you make it seem like it's more of a chore to play games and just like to hoard games, it's depressing
I'm not sure where you're getting that I don't like games... I love video games and have played thousands of them. I thought I was pretty positive about the PS3 games that I talked about. I did prefer the 360 over the PS3, but that was mostly because of the slowness of the PS3's dashboard and the lack of used games for the system in my area. I just checked my spreadsheet. I have played 75 of my 116 PS3 games, and I gave them an average score of 7/10

Time to add some of these to my wishlist😅 I don't have the phat backwards compatible ps3 as it's too much money.. my older brother won money and he promised me if he won a certain amount he'd be me a ps5 but I already had one so I asked for a ps3 and he got me the ps3 slim (my favourite as it's the one I had as my first proper console) with a few games.. we share money whenever we can and that started my collecting last year.. love ps3 games and always looking to add to it!
Your brother sounds like an awesome guy!
Collecting for the PS3 is a lot of fun.
@RNGGamerYT he can be😅 it's just summit we do for eachother when we can and it really is.. I've gotten so many for under 5quid!
@hybrid_Batman I remember when everything was $5 😁
@RNGGamerYT good thing about cex tbh, I'm excited to go to a bigger one than I haven't been to in years on the first! Got some voucher to get some games! I'm off to sleep so will continue to watch your videos later, hope you have a good day
@hybrid_Batman thanks! I'm of to bed myself!
i was like whaaaaat @ arkham asylum but then i thought to myself how everyone really likes the witcher 3 and i’ve tried to get into it 4 different times and i just don’t get it
If you play enough games, this will always happen eventually! There's always going to be some amazing game that just doesn't click with you. I always try to be honest about how I feel, and Arkham Asylum just didn't do it for me. The Witcher 3 ,on the other hand...
Cross Edge is a JRPG that mixes a few game universes together like Disgaea and Darkstalkers.
A few games I didn't see at this end of the alphabet that were I think PS3 physical exclusives that might be your type of interesting:
Best of PSN vol.1- a compilation of Sound Shapes, Fat Princess, and Tokyo Jungle.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I didn't know about several of these. Aquapazza was one that I wish I had grabbed earlier.
Had me till Batman was mentioned lol
Aww, come on! Not everyone is going to like every game. 😅
You should do a video showing your PSN profile and going through your trophy list, highlighting some of your favs. 🙃🤔
That's not a bad idea! The only issue would be spoiling some future content
Crisis is amazing love all the games
Thanks for letting me know! I'm looking more forward to trying them out!
do you have a pinball in your home?
I don't! I've always wanted one, but the maintenance on them is a lot of work
Great video and awesome collection!
Thanks so much!
Great Collection man! The PS3 is an amazing console
Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. The PS3 really is amazing
Couldn't finish your video
Your auto focus gave me a head ache
Otherwise good content man
You're the first person to ever mention the auto focus, but I personally find it distracting myself. I'll try to edit the next video to minimize it. Thanks for letting me know
23:42 how come you decided for regular version instead of director's cut? I was reading that DC has DLC's already live, you cannot turn them on/off.
I actually got this game on release day. I hadn't implemented my random gaming system yet, so I just played it right away.
If I had waited, I would have picked up the Director's Cut.
Thanks for watching
@@RNGGamerYT I like to return and rewatch :)
I just picked up god of war hd and 3 2 weeks ago
They are incredible games!
so far amazing collection! i always love to see playstation stuff , i mostly collect playstation games and i have the same opinion i don't really like the cyberpunk vibes in games, but i must say cyberpunk 2077 on ps5 was a great game didn't expect it to love it that much as i did while playing it.
Yeah... I know I can do that. But the collector in me wants that definitive edition to put on the shelf
Awesome video!!
I ❤ my PS3!!!
Looking forward to part 2!! 😎👍
One of my favorite PS3 games is metal gear solid 4 Andy uncharted series
I'm still working my way up to metal gear solid 4.
I adore the uncharted series, too!
PS3 is the goat!!!
It's great! Thanks for watching
Havent played new vegas....whoa
I know, right!?! It's still in the backlog.... I'll get there
Just beated it (beated it)
Beated it (beated it)
No one wants to beated defeated-ed 😂
You're the first person to ever comment on that joke! I thought it was so flipping funny. Thank you so much for liking it! And thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment
I was shocked that i was the first tbh, you certainly got a good guffaw off me 😂
UK collector of old Nintendo & PS1/2/3 here - focusing on the rarer PS3 titles currently with Yakuza Dead Souls, El Shaddai & Volume 2 of the G.o.W collection being recent additions.
@andrewrowley2867 all great games! I am all for games dropping in price. I want more people to play them
39:05 because there is a lot of RPG for ps3 :)
There really is!
I'm having such a hard time getting into them. Any advice on getting into the right mindset? I really dislike most super heroes
I think the few of us that played it all had the same exact feelings about it. Thanks again for watching and supporting the channel, brother!
How are they still charging for the asuras wrath dlc? It should’ve been made a free download after all the hate!!
I think they did make it free for a while, but that was short lived!
Is dragon siege 3 online still working? Wouldn’t mind doing the coop.
I'm not sure if it is or not. I haven't had PS+ on about a decade 🤣
@@RNGGamerYT let me know if you want to try one day👍
@schwartz4074 will do!
Enchanted Arms is good. I played it on the 360. Its a strategy RPG using monsters you collect. So think Pokemon with cool monsters and FF Tactics put together. The gameplay is okay. But the story is what got me through the game.
Thanks for letting me know! FF tactics is one of my favorite games of all time. Pokemon on the other hand...
I wanna get the alice wounder land.i only see them japan language
They are around, but there's some hype around them. So, they've started commanding a higher price
@RNGGamerYT I feel that.if limited makes it.i keep looking limited run what's coming out next
Ps3 great system of games.....
Thanks for watching!
Servers are stopping up on Blur
I'm surprised that they were even still around. Thanks for watching!
@@RNGGamerYT I meant they’re still up! Lol sorry. Love your content, subscribed! Thanks!!!
Thanks so much for subscribing and commenting. That's crazy that those servers are still up
You don't like Batman? I don't know what's wrong with you either lol j/k
I always hope it'll click... To me, watching batman is like watching Elon Musk getting mad at a bunch of cooler people and spending all of his resources to ruin their good time 😆
@RNGGamerYT not the cool people, just the bad guys, lol and I'm talking about Batman. I don't know much about Elon other than Tesla lol
The dc and marvel.they can't come up new ideas anymore 😂.batman has different characters then they start over again.
They really do seem to cycle through a lot of the same ideas
@@RNGGamerYT many different batman movies.same script different plot.
Dont play fallout new vegas on the ps3 its a bad port of a great game
Where should I play it?
360 or PC @@RNGGamerYT
ps3
Ps3!
Wow this guy really doesn’t understand comics or superheroes at all there’s lots of superheroes that are basically the common man like a ton of them so clearly you have no idea what you’re talking about
You're right! I know almost nothing about superheroes or comics. If you have a good recommendation, please let me know.
Bleach me and my wife watch.finishi series.i didn’t see thousand blood one serious
I've been enjoying the thousand year blood war!
@@RNGGamerYT is that one almost done
It’s not a 100 dollar game
Which game?
Godzilla : +/- 15o €
Gow 3 broke my ps3
Did it really?!? I swore that whenever it made mine lock up that it sounded like a freaking jet engine firing up
Yup. It would get really loud and then shut down everytime
Dungeon siege 3 wasn't good. 1 and 2 is the best.kids could played it.alot of fans don't liked 3.
Well.... 3 is the only one I have. So I guess I'm stuck with it 😅
@RNGGamerYT the downfall pc.u can't played the games.u needed to install program and virus.retro games can't
@@RNGGamerYT I mean retro consoles can't.
Rare Games? Where anyone who shows call of duty games does not have rare games only average sorry buddy...
I had like 2 or 3 call of duty games... and plenty of other rare games on the system. Including 1 that is incredibly rare...
@@RNGGamerYT please direct me to the super rare game in the video...
nevermind I'm guessing you are referring to Dungeons and dragons as the super rare game...
Short Peace: Ranku Tsukigime's Longest Day and Mamorunkun Curse! Aren't exactly games that you find all over the place
I have played 75 of my 116 PS3 games, and I gave them an average score of 7/10
I don't know, I thought I was pretty clear
Dude! Talk about a coincidence. I went to grad school for film music composition at UNC School of the Arts in Winston Salem NC. I don't think you can really DM on TH-cam anymore... are you on Instagram? Would love to chat about music.

You should watch attack on titan its amazing an the games are amazing
I'm literally watching season 3 right now! What a coincidence. I'll check out the games
@@RNGGamerYT dude season 3 is so epic !! It's the peak of the show for me season 4 is great still of course to. An as far as the game goes get attack on Titan 2 because 1 an 2 have most of the same story but in 2 you create your own character .
