The fact that you were recording this with a bad resolution camera and it still shows your talent and skill really marvels me. Also, I love tree people. And I know you were a bit miffed with some of the details here and there but I personally think this was beautiful. Hello and I hope you have a great day if you're reading this. 💐
I love the depth you can get with watercolor and the different textures you work into you paintings, I'm new to watercolor and so far everything ends up looking very flat for me. Love your style to it makes me feel very lighthearted & cheerful when I look at it.
Yes please, I'd love to see a video about how you edit your work on the computer. You are so talented, thank you for the beautiful paintings as well as for your comments and the soothing music :)
Nicely done. I enjoy listening to you explain your work. Your English is very good. You have a wonderful natural eye for colors. I am just starting to use watercolors and love learning new ways to layer transparent colors. Thank you for all your time and effort in making such interesting, wonderful videos.
beautiful, wonderful!!! you're such an inspiration!! every time I watch one of your videos all I want to do is pick my watercolors and paint!!!! hehe seriously, keep up the amazing work!!😘
I absolutely love your work! And don't worry about your English! It's better than most Germans English I know! And hat off for trying so hard! And I don't understand why people are offended! I understand everything!
Your videos are always so peaceful and sweet! it was almost meditative to watch you paint with the music! you've inspired me to paint again, so thank you so so much!!!
This is such a pretty illustration! I love watching your videos. I hope I can get better at watercolor and draw half as good as you :) I'm just to impatient with them.. Hope you have a great day!
So dat's what da blue marker was for! Haha nice Beautiful work. Love it ♡ Da crew dat created "Song of the Sea" n "Secret of the Kells" should hire u ^-^
Wieder einmal ein wunderschönes Bild, Ira! Illustrierst du auch Bilder-/Kinderbücher? Wenn ja, müsste ich mir nämlich unbedingt eines für meine Sammlung besorgen! :)
Really amazing, congrats for your talent. I'm trying your way to paint, just to learn this skill. This is really amazing. Can you tell me the name of the song in this video? Thanks
Hi Ira :) I know it's an older one, but I'm wondering if it's available for sale. Either the original one or a print. I LOVE it a lot! Your work is amazingly beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your process. Zita
Hi!! I’ve been working on a lot of watercolor illustrations lately, and every time I attempt to scan them in, they look terrible. Just really washed out and not at all like the originals. Is there anything I can do besides having to do a ridiculous amount of editing in Photoshop?? (I don't even know how to use Photoshop- my husband does, but until I learn, I would love to not have to try and explain to him what I want.) Is the only other option to take really high resolution photos of my work? I really appreciate your videos and love your work!
well, its normally not a rediculous amount on editing in PS. as i said in the Video, i did more on this painting because i wasn´t happy with it. normally it takes just one or maybe two minutes to do color-level correction and you can do that with every program for Fotos, you don´t need PS for it. But also scanner normally have Setting Options for the Color. but since every painting is diffrent with diffrent papers, i want to keep the original scans with all informations and do Color correction individulay in PS. i think 2 minutes is not too much work for a pianting you already spend time and thoughts on it :)
Haha yes, 2 minutes would be amazing! Maybe it's just what I'm using or the way I'm painting, but at the moment when we're editing in PS it takes hours and still doesn't quite feel like the original. Admittedly, I need to learn PS myself and that would probably help the process. :D I will have to see if I can play with settings on the scanners. Thank you!!!
Hey ira I just wanted to ask how do you record your videos at that angle over the artwork because I also record videos but it's so hard to get the camera at that angle I usually just stack a bunch of thick books and put my phone over them, so I wanted to know what you do?
У Вас есть свой собственный стиль!! Узнаваемый! Иногда, это дороже золота)))
The fact that you were recording this with a bad resolution camera and it still shows your talent and skill really marvels me.
Also, I love tree people. And I know you were a bit miffed with some of the details here and there but I personally think this was beautiful.

Do you attend or sell at any fantasy or comic conventions? I would like to attend the one in Germany.
