During the A2P registration process it ask if your business is registered "Yes" or "No." Hundreds of videos on setting up a registered business, but not a single one speaking of a business that is not registered. Why is that? Some businesses is just a DBA.
I can only speak for myself, and I've never come across a business that wasn't already registered. I'm personally not going to make a video on something I've never done before and risk getting it totally wrong
@@dombavaro I understand that. I'm just speaking to the fact that there are countless lawncare guys, handyman, etc that are soleprorietorship and not an llc. They just run under their SSC.
Dom, this content is insane. Thank you. I'm still learning about GHL so will be watching more of your stuff. By the way, let's say I have a business where I need both clients and customers that I match (i.e recruiting) .. and I need to provide contracts and documents for both parties to sign.. 1.) what is a good resource for the contracts (by niche) and 2.) whats the best way to integrate those into GHL workflows?
Thanks for the kind words! GHL has its own native Docusign equivalent for contracts. I dont use it too much, but it's in the payments tab. Go to "payments" on the left and then there should be a invoice/documents/estimates across the top toawrds the left side
Hi Dom, I'm from Australia and I can not apply for the A2P Messaging. Does that mean I won't be able to use this feature for SMS campaigns even in Australia?
Does this mean that my real estate agent/broker clients for my SaaS business will all need to be A2P approved? Or do I only worry about this for my own company?
Great info Dom. What are you doing about Shaken/STIR (Voice) & CNAM (Voice) part of the registration process? If you call from your GHL phone and it's only verified to the LLC isn't that going to show up in the caller ID?
I've been messing around with it, but I don't have a bulletproof process that I'm comfortable enough posting yet. If you don't do the CNAM only the number will show up on caller ID
@@dombavaro okay got it. The one thing that confuses me though is when I go to register as a sole prop, it asks for the business name, address and all that stuff. Do I enter the company name and address that he works for? Or would the "business name" be his name and the "address" be his home address?
@dombavaro it would actually be for my agency just under a different domain name my agency is The Jaabsha. Would I be able to register another domain Jaabsha Review System, create a sub account and a funnel but use my agency account to register a phone number for that sub account? I want to test two or three different things. Such as a missed call text back sub account with a funnel. I'm just trying to determine the best way to get a phone number for these sub accounts.
@@churchgrowthoutreach every client should have their own LLC. Unless you're using multiple sub accounts yourself for your own business. Then you can use the same LLC across sub accounts

No end to the undisclosed surprises on High Level
What?
@@dombavaro HighLevel doesn't disclose a lot of nickle and dime items you incur after signup.

Not sure. I've never tried A2P outside the US. You'll probably be okay though
how would you text cold leads you never talked to, if they never opted in
You don't. But also, a missed call is not a cold lead. The act of calling first in an implied optin
Does this mean that my real estate agent/broker clients for my SaaS business will all need to be A2P approved? Or do I only worry about this for my own company?
Yes they will be. Everyone who wants to send a text out of GHL needs to be A2P registered
@@dombavaro Thank you! Great content, I appreciate the work you've put into it.
Hello! I have my main phone number approved but I have three others on the same account. Do I need to do this for the other three as well?
No. One campaign is good for all Numbers. Just go into the phone numbers screen, click the 3 dots and select the campaign to attach number to
@@dombavaro Thank you so much!
Hey, I got approved without an EIN, would my real estate agent clients have an ein?
I would imagine they would. It's good practice to get an ein and LLC as soon as you start doing business.

@dombavaro ahhhh... didn't realize that. Definitely helps me get over a sticking point in regards to A2P.
Keep up the great work.. 👍
Can I get approved without an EIN? I file as sole proprietor?
Yes you can
Do you know how I would register a solar sales rep who just works for a solar company?
Register him as a sole prop under his social security number? This way that number is theirs and they can take it wherever they go forever
