This is amazing. Grew up on Leann Rimes from day one. No voice like hers and the industry treating her the way the did was wrong. These three are amazing inside and out. Absolutely beautiful
Facts. So glad she’s having a rebirth. One of the greats.
The industry is brutal but her fans were/are devout Christians so when news broke of her having cheated and played 50% in breaking up a marriage and then going on to be with that person, it doesn’t scream great role model. But the industry does not like to separate artistry and personality.
The country music industry especially is very judgemental of their female artists. You see what happened to The Dixie Chicks. One step out of line, and you're blacklisted.
Leeann didn’t just get divorced and remarried. She divorced her MANAGER, at a time she had released what was then her lowest selling album, and had a series of very poorly received live performances (America’s Got Talent and the X-factor). The affair played a big part but her career decline did have other factors.
Me too how they changed the song t make it slower and you can really realize all their voices but leanne and Ashley are captivating!
