    Thanks for the Fractal content. I have used Fractal for over 10 years. Just ordered the FM3 and FC6 yesterday, looking forward to upgrading from the AX8.

      I think you'll be very happy coming from the AX8 (which is also an awesome sounding piece of gear).

    Sounded great man! Love the FM3 videos. I have owned and used them all but I am absolutely loving the capability of the OMG9 setup. Hoping to see a few more videos in the future. Thanks for everything you are doing!! Love this!

    Great video! I'm getting ready to implement the FC-6 with my FM3, so this was the perfect video to see real world application!! I appreciate your commentary on your use and experience with it. Love me some Fractal! God Bless you my Brother! : )

    Appreciate the video. I currently use two HeadRush units (Pedalboard, Gigboard) on my worship team. Generally, I rehearse with the Gigboard on my office table and then use the Pedalboard for all the live work. No complaints with the HR gear at all, good sounding. I've been on the fence between upgrading to either Helix or an FM3 set up. Love the use of the FC6. Seems like I'd be able to use the FM3 on my desk and just grab and go...

    Im debating swapping my board for the fm3 .
    On another note I just hate the 3 song rule in churches these days geeze sooo upsetting... i miss thebgood old days where playing 6+ songs was the usual.

      Thanks! I think I'd still like the ability to get to the individual effects, so I'm not sure if I'll change that out or not. Getting used to the extra switching isn't too much, honestly. But the beauty of it is how customizable it is.

    I’m hesitating to buy one. A lot of people say that cpu is quickly overloaded even with a basic preset. Not enough horse power which can be quickly frustrating. Neural quad cortex seems to be the best compromise if you don’t have 2500 bucks for AxeFX3.

    • @TocoaPuffs
      @TocoaPuffs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know this was half a year ago, but if you're using a ton of effects in each preset then you'll hit it, but if you're conservative with your space you'll be fine for the most part. There are some space saving tactics that you can use, but if you are walking in with the assumption that you're going to load it up, yea, get the quad cortex. It's just as easy to use and you get a lot more CPU. The only problem right now is you're limited on amp/cab models. You definitely have enough, but not nearly as much as the fractal units right now. I haven't used a Helix unit, but that should also be in your consideration.
      I normally use a drive (or chorus), amp, gate, cab, delay and reverb, so I don't have a lot of issues, but when I try to make one preset for a full set and I need stuff that will be turned off for different types of songs, I run into problems where I need to be conservative. I don't know how many effects you add in there, but if you are getting this thing with the intention to push it to the limit, get something with a higher limit. If you're looking for a professional quality effects processor at a budget price, this is your guy. You can do almost anything on this. Also, if you already have pedals, there is a send/return you can use and if you put a reverb pedal there, you'll be saving a ton of space.

    Sounds great mate a specially when the FM3 is by it self in a mix you can actually hear it ...but having said that it is so polished it kinda gets lost in a mix when everything is going full on .....well most modelers have that "issue" i guess you can eq it better for live unless this is mixed down to be low in a mix for a reason ....either way convenient tool for sure ....cheers.

I can connect the aviom in-ear system to the Kemper Stage {mini jack to aviom headphone jack to kemper return L-R }to listen to the seq or tracks "for church or live perf" so i can listen exactly my guitar setup the way i set it up at home and it sounds the same because i plug my in-ears to the Kemper instead of the Aviom System, can we do the same thing with the FM3? please say yesssss and show us 🤞Thank you in advance

    11 switches on the AX8 was attacked by the bean counters. I need more switches instead of tap dancing. Silly.
    And for traveling you lug around more gear wires, and pedals. I would prefer an AX12

  • @terryrichardson3054
    @terryrichardson3054 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sounds fantastic - seems like quite a bit of tap dancing. This has kept me from upgrading to be honest. May be alright for others, but for me in the heat of battle I like to not have to think to much about footswitches. That's one thing I really liked about the AX8......Just my opinion, but if it works for you, that's great!

    Sometimes I wonder if musicians join these churches just for the gigs.

    • @worshiptutorials
      @worshiptutorials  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well my church does not pay musicians (I’m a volunteer) or buy any gear for musicians.
      Some churches do pay, and there for sure are people who play just for the ‘gig’, but it’s the exception rather than the norm.

  • @jeremybreedveld

    How do you think using a Morningstar midi controller with the FM3 would compare to using the FC6?

    • @worshiptutorials
      @worshiptutorials  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The FC controllers will be superior to a midi controller for a number of reasons. You don’t have to power them externally. You can program them directly inside of the edit software. Every button can do 3 different actions based on how you set it up. This is just to name a few.
      However you can’t use FC controllers with other hardware, and the FM3 is fully compatible with midi controllers.

    Line 6 or Fractal Audio?

    • @worshiptutorials
      @worshiptutorials  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends on your budget and what you’re looking to do with a modeling unit.

    • @schzacj
      @schzacj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’ve owned both and both are really great. To me personally I enjoy the FM3 and FC6 combo more than the helix. I feel like it’s easier to get a better tone but also a bit less user friendly initially. However I have really grown to love the UI and how customizable everything is overall.

      Eh, I’m not sure if I agree. Compared to a Helix Floor, editing on the fly on FM3 isn’t quite as intuitive, but once you learn the unit it’s really easy to do anything you’d want to.
      Price point wise, the FM3, FC6, and the expression pedal will cost exactly the same as a Helix, so ‘competitive’ is the word I would use.
      Many people think the FM3 is a Stomp competitor, but it is far more capable than the HX Stomp (and likewise more $$$).

    Please remember, while beautiful music that is focused on Christ is appropriate for a church service, that should not be the focus for the true believers. The message of Christ Our righteousness, living a holy life, and preparing to be translated should be the main theme, not emotionalism or showmanship.
