I streamed on Twitch for a few years until my pc broke. Now that I’m back up n running again and I’ve revamped my overall quality I’m going to go the TH-cam route. Private test streams have gone well. Best of luck to anyone else taking on their goals this year!
That's great to hear you are back at it! You got this!
whats your twitch bro i will follow you?
@ I appreciate that! My twitch is, JaeXpii the same as my username here but I’ll be streaming and making content on TH-cam on this account going forward I don’t think I’m going to multi stream yet.
@@TheSamEffect7 I appreciate that! It’s the same as my TH-cam JaeXpii. However I’m not going to be multi streaming or anything rn. I’m gonna commit to the TH-cam content and streams!
@ i got you on both just in case you still do twitch
I recently started streaming on both Twitch and TH-cam as a 48 years old dad and must say your videos are key to success. I’ll be rewatching your videos to better my channels for viewers and of course a little bit of 💰 lol
Congrats on getting started listen, 48 years old is your advantage ( No fear of what others think, know what it's like to do the work and play the long game) - I looked at your channel, and you're going strong, I am more than happy to coach you and help you get clear on the best way to grow and cut some of your learning curves if that is something your interested its group coaching, our first coaching session is tomorrow (Small group to start) - lascurry.com/streameracademypro
@@LASCurry Thank you for your feeding, greatly appreciate it. I won't be able to join this sessions of coaching but definitely will look at future ones since your content is straight to the point and clear.
I am 48 too haha let's go!
You're welcome! No worries the academy is not going anywhere and it will be there when you are ready these are not one off session they are weekly, along with videos rescouces and access to a private community. Excited to see you grow!
Thank you
My man!! At it again for us smaller content creators
💯💯💪🏽
I became monetized on youtube through travel/storytelling but my passion is gaming & live sports so im planning to pivot to twitch streaming & use my existing subscriber base to jump over to twitch & I can always livestream on both platforms 😁
Sounds like a great plan! Good luck!
Hit the nail with this one which is why im gonna start multi streaming this year. appreciate this video bro!!
Glad this video helped you with your decision!
Tysm for another informative video! I def need to be more consistent with going live!
This was super helpful! Definitely doing the TH-cam route!
Glad it helped, you got this!
@ thanks man! Appreciate the encouraging words! 🙏🏼
from one Sam to another i got you with a sub im a gamer too so here to support
💯💯
💯💯
Great tips for beginners like me! Thank you bro. Cheers from Brazil!
I appreciate that! Cheers from the US!
One of the very good channel here on youtube. Keep it up Sir! 👊
I appreciate that!
This is fire bro thank you. I just started twitch stream. Say once you get monetized on TH-cam do you still get paid for prior vids?
Yw glad you enjoyed the video, you wont get paid for views you got before you got monetized, but if those videos keep getting views after
Your monetized you will get paid.
Hey Curry, really appreciate the insights..this was super helpful! My first stream is happening this Saturday, and since I don’t have a proper video capture card yet, I’ll just be using the PS5 camera to start on TH-cam Live and see how it goes. It’s not a big deal for the first time, but in the future, I’ll definitely use OBS as you suggested.
I’ve already set up most of the things I need…now I’m just waiting for a second monitor, and once that’s in place, I’ll be good to go. I decided to start with TH-cam Live because it has a broader reach..you’ve got shorts, long-form content, and live streaming all in one place, which makes it a great starting point. Eventually, I plan to start streaming on Twitch too, but only after I complete my setup with the extra screen and capture card.
Thanks again for your input..it really helped!❤
that’s awesome to hear! I’m excited for your first stream this Saturday it sounds like you’ve got a solid plan. Starting with TH-cam Live is smart, especially with all the built in growth tools. Just focus on content and consistency.
Also, I run a coaching community called Streamer Academy Pro, where I help streamers like you level up faster with personalized feedback and growth strategies. If you’re interested, I’d love to have you in! No pressure, just thought it might be helpful. lascurry.com/streameracademypro
@@LASCurrydo you have to have a capture card? I’ve been straining file like the past few months and I don’t have one now thought about getting one
I literally was just asking myself this question all by myself and now u made this video that’ll help me find out if what I’m doing is right or wrong I chose TH-cam just cus I feel more at home here and just think I have a better chance of gaining an audience
You got this! Just aim to get better with each upload
@ been watching you for over a year and u have helped me get so much better I literally watch all of your videos just to learn as much as I can, I’m a big fan of what you do it helps so many ppl frfr I just wanna say thank you so much for the response it means more then u can ever even imagine 🙏🏽🙏🏽

@Oszze 💯💯
HI LAS Curry
What's up!
Just starting out myself. Only been posting videos so far. About to start streaming soon. Thanks for you advice!
Awesome, man! I'm excited for you to jump into streaming as well! You made the right decision with making content, and once you start to get traction on the video, you can bring that community into your lives. If you need any help or coaching let me know
Do you need a powerful computer/tower to stream on TH-cam? I generally stream on twitch and edit down the vods to make shorts. Been grinding my gaming content for about a year and I’m at 435 followers. I think I tried to stream on YT off the bat but I was having issues with the stream
First off, congrats on getting to 435. It may not seem like a lot, but most creators never get there, and you're putting in the work and time. Now, if you already stream to Twitch from your pc using OBS, it's not going to require any more resources to stream to YT aside from setting it up - I show you in this video how to do it th-cam.com/video/JrJJeLr62LA/w-d-xo.html Give it a shot and see if that works better for you, if you have any issues let me know. Also, check out my website for more streaming resources - lascurry.com/thestreameracademypro
@@LASCurrythanks man!! I started following your content when I first started and have learned so much! Thank you for all that you do! Thank you for the response I’ll have to look into it!!
💯💯💯 Anytime! Appreciate the support
What are your thoughts on Kick?
Aside from the higher rev split, It would fall under similar thoughts to Twitch I mention in this video as they are pretty similar
@ that’s fair. Personally the lack of multichat options for Kick on a Mac makes it more of a hassle to deal with.
Been watching a ton of videos. Thanks for all the teaching you do. I was wondering if would get any benefit from upgrading my video card. My current card is PNY GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition 8GB . The card I'm thinking about purchasing is MSI RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X OC 12GB. Would it result in a better stream quality. My upload speed is maxed out at 10Mbps. I want to provide the best 1080 60fps stream. Just in case you wonder my cpu is AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING (AM4) motherboard with 32 gb of ram
Hey! Appreciate you watching and supporting the content!
Upgrading from a GTX 1070 to an RTX 3060 won’t make a huge difference in your stream quality, The 3060 has a better NVENC encoder, which means slightly better efficiency and less strain on your CPU while streaming.
Upgrading your upload speed would be better and using 6000k bitrate to get good 1080p 60fps
@LASCurry Thanks for the advice. I'm going to see what I can do about getting a faster provider.
So they could also like I have it I start very small but I only use a TV for streaming and the ps5 and a microphone which was very cheap and somehow to make a good setup out of it
That's how I started its really all you need to start as a console streamer
Bro it's been a long time since I talked to you lol but can you recommend a computer for me to buy around 300 that will work just for me to stream from xbox to streamlabs to youtube and twitch simultaneously
Hey bro, you could get a mini pc but then you still need a capture card etc - I would recommend you just spend the $12 a month or so on Light Stream to do all of that instead to start. I show you how in this video - th-cam.com/video/Hg4jCjsRMaA/w-d-xo.html
@@LASCurry thanks I appreciate that so much
Hello Why sometimes when I’m streaming on TH-cam it
says streaming is not available right now can you help me get rid
of this? Thank You!
Is it saying this in OBS?
Hey Curry, watching from Chicago. SO i watched your video on doing 10 hours a day but my question is what if im only able to stream within a 2day range how much should i do then?
Aw nvm it was 10 hours a week 😂
No worry glad you figure it out! Excited for you to start
Do u have any streamlabs ultra promo codes so i can multistream to TikTok, youtube, and twitch?
I do not sorry, why did you choose streamlabs over obs?
if ur new to this , Multistreaming is the way to go
Thanks for the support and helping others!
Ok how do you multistream when you don't have access to pc and on xbox only ?
I show you how in this video - th-cam.com/video/Hg4jCjsRMaA/w-d-xo.html
@@LASCurry thanks for the reply but to use this service there's a cost involved. I'm new I'm not looking to Pay anything I'm still testing things out. Maybe down the road if things start taken off and I get traction
No worries, just start with what you have and build from there! You got this
@@LASCurry yup that's what I'm doing
Thanks for the video bro ! ... and if u can make another one for kick it would be really good 🤍
You got it! I'll add that to the list
Lets go!!
💯
Was on Twitch for 7 years, finally left and have no interest in going back. I adore YT
YT is an amazing place to be; it changed my life and the lives of many others!
Hey i am watching from Germany
Can you to a setup Whit ps5 and a Mikrofon pls
Welcome! I will add it to my list!
I stream on bot
I never heard of that platform
TikTok is the best for discovery on live then TH-cam vertical try divert the traffic towards twitch and discord I am not by any means successful after 1 year around 10-12 average across platforms playing rpg games. It’s hard work though 💯 good luck all just do it because you love it
I agree that TikTok is great for live discoverability. Just want to congratulate you on your hard work and effort, I took a look at your channel, and you are being consistent, which is always a good thing. I feel you are not far from breaking away and seeing even more results from your hard work, I would love to coach you to see if we can unlock some opportunities if you feel you are at a place were you want guidance like that, here is more information on my group coaching - 👉 lascurry.com/streameracademypro
I start whit twitch and i have 0 Zuschauer
We all start at 0! You got this!
@ i following you now on Twitch
So they could also like I have it I start very small but I only use a TV for streaming and the ps5 and a microphone which was very cheap and somehow to make a good setup out of it
I do live streaming on TH-cam and hoping I get monetized this year
You got this, just focus on consistency and getting better with each stream and content.
@ yeah am consistent can look at my live just don’t know whether tags help
Biggest con to twitch its Art bots. Just spamming your chat.
Dropped Twitch and growing on TH-cam due to this. Plus I can run two streams on TH-cam
Really wish the spam bots situation would get fixed but glad your finding success on youtube.
@ Appreciate that man.. I think I will add it back on when they launch vertical
