1st Wash for Brave Star Double Knee Raw Denim...In The Washer & Dryer!!

- I've been itching to wash a pair or raw selvedge denim in the washer and dryer for their 1st wash and recently took the plunge and did it!
These are the 14oz Brave Star Green Dragon Double Knee work pants, and I have worn them as just that, work pants.
Follow along in this video where I show you the before and after of tossing these in the washing machine and then the dryer.

Do you think soaking in hot water will strip the contrasts out of my Naked and Famous

I think a hot water soak will fine, and should help tighten them up b/c of the shrink material.
Great video. Nothing wrong with wasing them in the washer. I have a pair of 13 oz Bravestar. I wore the >20 times, trrew them in the washer and line dried them. I think you'll still get great fades.

Thanks for sharing! As for the washer, I just got the Brave Star sawtooth denim shirt, may wash that in the washer and hang dry it after. It needs to shrink up just a bit!

I do this also aside from my other soaks. I’ve yet to try it with my heavier denim like 21.5 oz or 25 oz. Nice vid!
It would be interesting to see how those heavier denims handle the wash!

Been putting mine in the washer for years, sometimes even the dryer but that does tend to make them kinda tight again for a wear or two. They end up looking great

Ian, good afternoon!!! I am glad to see you in good health and good mood!!! Summer is in full swing , jeans look good , light fading has appeared !!! I couldn't buy them, SWIFT was disabled for Russia and delivery too. After washing, they sit on you normally! But I wouldn't risk washing in an unrolled state because of the longitudinal stripes that the drum of the washing machine could leave, but you did it! Я не смог их купить , SWIFT отключили для России да и доставку тоже. После стирки нормально на вас сидят! Но я бы не рискнул стирать в не вывернутом состоянии из-за продольных полос которые мог оставить барабан стиральной машины, но у вас всё получилось!
