    Your content is solid but not sure on some of these suggestions. Some are basic tips and totally fine (check in with guest to make sure all is well is standard, clear instructions on how to check in is standard) but these personalized notes and gifts etc? the execution on these is what I need to hear you explain. for me not practical and the juice is not worth the squeeze. In other own and manage 16 listings which are all at least 2 hours away from me. I can't go to the property to write welcome notes, I can't check the garbage can to see what they ate for snacks etc. The items are cheap but take a lot of coordination and effort to execute. You might suggest asking my cleaner to now write a note but now I need to send her what to include in each note and when I have a full-time job and have 10 guests checking in on a Friday there is just no way to do this. At the end of the day I already get 5-star reviews so it's not even necessary to do. Still - do a video on how one would execute this at scale. thanks

      Hey Joel! Thanks for watching. We do try to offer tips at a variety of levels so even our beginners have a solid foundation! You're right, the more your business grows the harder some of these become. Do you have an inspector on your team? This is a great place to utilize this team member! Love that you're getting 5-star reviews! And, like you mentioned, no it's not necessary but it definitely allows us to "host with heart." If you're not using an inspector, we have some videos and pod episodes on why we LOVE them. Here's the contract we use with our team members: thanksforvisiting.com/independentcontractor

    I've been doing all these things with the exception of having a picture of the door in my check-in instructions. I just added it. Really great tip!

    Hey girls… It’s crazy. I’m actually sitting here at my place and was physically writing a letter while watching . You guys have been so helpful with these amazing tips and validating all the things I think are important. So on that note, I unfortunately do not have any more bookings right now, but I’m anticipating them, and I want to leave handwritten notes ahead of time since I do not live here. Is it OK to write a simple generic thank you with most of the tips that you offered. Then my cleaners can write their name on the outside of the envelope. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to personalize them early in the journey because we do come often enough, but my fear is there will be a time I can’t and I want to be prepared. Thanks in advance. Amber

      That's a great idea and excellent planning ahead! With you being physically away from your property, your TEAM is so important! It sounds like you have cleaners you can count on. What about an inspector? Have you seen our independent contractor agreement, this is what we use with those team members :) : thanksforvisiting.com/independentcontractor

    My property is five hours away. I just purchased it and I am looking to do all these things thank you! However… How do you get personalized when you live far away from your short term rental unit? My thought was to hire someone in the area to handle these things, but I am stuck on what an appropriate rate of pay is. I am in the North Carolina area. Any recommendations? What would you even call this person, and inspector?

      Hey Leah! Thanks for watching! Great questions. We consider a "property inspector" to be our soft of secret weapon. This is your team member who would be local to the area, they would have the responsibility of walking your property/unit after it's been cleaned and before guests arrive. They can place those personal touches and take care of making sure the unit is all set for your incoming guest!

    Love the handwritten notes except I HATE my writing 😂

      haha, relatable! Maybe print the note and sign? Anything we can do to make the guest experience special is what matters. One thing we love to include to go the extra mile is our "Forgot Something?" Basket (no handwriting necessary :) ) thanksforvisiting.com/forgotsomethingbasket

    I’m just finding your channel. I tried to use your tip about check in but can’t figure out how to do it. I’d love to add some pictures to make it easier for the guest to find the entrance on the side of the house. Can you explain how to get to the screen to add pictures for check in. I am using my mobile phone and just don’t see where you can add pictures. Thanks!

      Hey there! Are you trying to do this through the Airbnb app on your phone? I would recommend using a computer for it so you can access all features. Additionally, if you're sharing digital guidebook with your guests, I recommend putting those photos there for them.

      @teepalz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ThanksForVisiting yes, I was trying it on my phone so I’ll try it on my desktop. I haven’t added anything to the digital guestbook so I’ll look at that too. Thanks for your help and for responding so quickly! I give this channel 5 stars!!
