For real, the meeting of Isagi's parents and Bachira's mother is shot like they're about to add "Meguru Bachira's future father/mother-in-law" and "Isagi Yoichi's future mother-in-law" in their intro cards 😂
One thing you should note,, once Rin started playing with Sae, Sae took the role of assisting Rin. When the two played together, it was mostly Rin scoring (Not that Sae couldn't or wouldn't, just Rin who would do it most). Their dynamic was already like a midfielder and Striker, except both were just playing Striker at once. As for the words, Sae is right about Rin. He can never become the best so long as he clings to the image of his brother being above him. Until Rin throws away his image of being second best to Sae as a striker, he will never become the best.
