Young Sae's voice actor is the same as Boruto Uzumaki's. Chigiri's mom's voice actress is the same as Ino Yamanaka from Naruto/Boruto Chigiri's sister's voice actress is the same as Memcho from Oshi no Ko.
I think the difference between past Isagi and Rin is showed in this episode. In episode 1, Isagi's coach also tells him to pass and he does that since he wasn't an egoist at all. But Rin is not like that he scores with his own goal in that match. The author portrays their characters beautifully isn't it?

I don't think it has been mentioned in the manga yet, but lots of theories have come out. Well, I suspect that Sae did this just to make Rin more motivated, similar to how Itachi motivated Sasuke to become stronger (Those are some sh*tty ways from the older brothers ngl 😭😭😭😭)
As an Itoshi Sae stan (obvious with my pic lol), I must defend him.. kinda 😅😂 Rin was the one who reacted violently and spouted hurtful words first. All Sae said was that he changed his dream ftom best striker to best midfielder. But Rin called that 'meaningless' or 'useless'. Of course Sae got hurt by that, and that's when he started getting too harsh towards Rin (Sae was wrong for this and he obviously went overboard). Both of them are prideful and lack communication skills, which make their situation worse 😭 But I love both brothers and I want them to reconcile soon! 🙏😭
Sae needs to be more understanding- yeah Rin reacted impulsively but his brother literally got him into soccer for the sake of having him become the second-best striker in the world while Sae becomes the best. He created Rin's whole dream and raised him up that way, yes it's not the healthiest of relationships but it's what Sae did Then he comes back 4 years later after all Rin's been doing is training with their promise in mind (that once again, SAE spurred on), and says that he'll be the best midfielder in the world with no further intent of explaining. It's natural for Rin to be disappointed, even upset, but in the end this all boils down to poor communication skills. His response to Rin being upset is swearing at his younger brother, cutting him off, and shattering his dream? There's nothing wrong with him wanting to be the best-midfielder in the world. But being as defensive and aggressive as Sae got is crazy, I don't understand how people can defend him like this
This is only speculation, but seems like Rin and Sae are a parallel to Nagi and Reo, so I think Nagi and Reo will probably play for the same team after the World Cup Arc. Succeeding where the Itoshi brothers failed by working together to make Nagi the best striker.
I think sae parted ways with rin because it was hard for sae to give up on his childhood dream, he even realised he didnt have the talent for a striker same as aiku and decided to be a midfielder ,rin failed to understand this which hurt sae more as sae knew the capabilities of world class strikers

Hello Michael . Sae is right , in the world of football(soccer) if you just play for and because of another person , you really got no value , you should play for yourself to be better than your yesterday version , in some matches player play for someone to just remind that they haven't forget that person is left or else... at all , playing only because of someone else is a amateur move from a player who want to be a pro . But don't make fault here , sometimes people enter the sport world because of their family and ... but putting the mindset on only something over yourself is a childish amateur move.
I think it’s not totally a reality check. But may be for world level Sae's skills are more suited for a mid fielder than a striker.you know from hight,power etc.He is more of a passing and dribbling type player.And I think the reason behing Sae's upsetness is that he always dreamt to become a striker but he is more suited for mid field and he no more want rin to become the second best striker after him because rin is so cought up to him. I’m a manga reader but I promise no spoilers but these two are nothing like the Uchiha brothers. The comparison between Sae and the Crow boy has one possible similarity and it’s possibly wanting his brother to be stronger. Other than that possibility it is a horrible comparison. Itachi is insanely selfless and Sae’s ego is insane. He’s also insanely fruity amd Itachi slays mad ass.

It's not "Real" either, Re Al is based on Real Madrid but Real Madrid doesn't exist in this show. Same way the above comment pointed out that Manshine City is based off of Manchester City, and FC Barcha is based of Barcelona maybe (only assuming that bc they're both Spanish clubs)

I’m a manga reader but I promise no spoilers but these two are nothing like the Uchiha brothers. The comparison between Sae and the Crow boy has one possible similarity and it’s possibly wanting his brother to be stronger. Other than that possibility it is a horrible comparison. Itachi is insanely selfless and Sae’s ego is insane. He’s also insanely fruity amd Itachi slays mad ass.
