    Looking forward to this. So useful are the endless number of videos that show a dyno and “ooh, missed it’s power # by 5 watts” and now watch it move a sub back and forth… what do we gain from this? I guess if you need exactly 152 watts and looking at an amp that is rated for 150? But I never see anything about useful info. Even 4 channel amps are bridged to the max and “let’s see it move subs at .7 ohm” my first amp was a push button turn on amp from radio shack that buzzed like crazy but made speakers move…. Sounded horrible. I sure wish you had time, money and desire to test more budget minded stuff so us poor saps with 2 daughters and a wife can find the best place to spend the few dollars these ladies let me spend on my silly hobbies. Many many thanks to you and your passion for this hobby.

    D4S amplifiers look remarkably similar to U.S Amps in many ways. Are they made by U.S Amps? If so, that is a great quality amplifier in a differently branded, discounted shell.

    Nice amplifier and details. Just watched the test vid and it seems to test ok even tho i didn't understand a couple things. Can't wait to see it hooked up and playing in the 3rd vid. My morel 4 ch amp is awful with is hissing sometimes on my tweeter channels. Not sure if its the way the amp is made, installed or if it has a defect. Idk. Definitely need a new amp though so your 3rd vid should cure my curiosity. Thanks again for all the great info.

      I can tell you that when I'll hook it up😉

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on how it was measured. If it's 75 dB at 1 watt, then it's maybe slightly below average. Not too bad.
      If it's 75 dB at full power, then that would be really poor.
      What's odd is that the signal to noise ratio is 90 dB on channels 9 and 10. Usually it's lower subwoofer channels. It makes me wonder if it was measured at full power.

    In the States people love this brand. Only because people love cheap power. They basically Korean style amps or used to be. That do rated power but NO ONE has test them for quality of sound or reliability. I can say they last more than 2-3 years so that’s a plus. If you want cheap sound quality in the States I would go with CT sounds for speakers and amps along with subs.
    But I run Kicker Amps and JL Audio amps with all Infinity speakers and subs.

    Keyed locks on the inside of a home is insane! Is that normal in Europe? 😬
    My concern since having kids has always been that they could escape the house in an emergency without my assistance. Or that anyone can escape the house in a hurry.

      It should be normal if you have a glass window right next to the lock that can be broken and a person reach in to unlock it.

      What are you talking about?
      There are really high-end class d amps built by top companies such as Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, Digital Designs, Arc Audio, Focal, etc...
      25 years ago when class D was relatively new we didn't have the chips to produce the high switching frequencies we needed. In the last 10 to 15 years we've had them.

      I honestly don't know what level of distortion I can hear. Once I get all my gear installed I plan to do some critical listening tests between my reference class AB amps and several high end class D amps.
