Holy moly, I had no idea! I feel like I just went to oven college. My gas oven is about 40 yrs old or so, and has none of those buttons. In fact, it doesn't have any buttons. So all of this is new to me. My favorite thing I learned here today is: DON"T USE OVEN CLEAN FEATURE. Second favorite thing I learned is the muffin joke! Love the egg story and the soup story. My oven hasn't worked in a long time (only the stove top works), but when it did, I was chided for being unwilling to leave the house with the oven on. Even if I was cooking something that would take hours. My main concern was my pets - what if the house burned down and killed them? What if the flame went out and they died of carbon monoxide poisoning? I wouldn't be able to live with myself. When I saw the title of the video, it made me giggle. But I've been alive for a long time, so I knew there was something much more to the story. Thanks for going over all this, and for pointing out how to get more information. I mean, come on, there's a Sabbath setting? Who knew! Maybe almost everyone except me. Great video! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Thanks a lot! Yesterday I had to use an electric oven, and I set a timer for 13 minutes, but it went to 13 hours? The next time it went to 50 minutes, then i finally got it to 13. This video taught me a lot to be less confused and be able to work things and get it to what I need it for. Have a great time!
If you program the cook time and delay time your oven will turn on at the delay time, cook for the cook time and then either shut off or keep warm (depending on model). I think that is what the “automatic oven” light indicates.
Thanks, I grew up with a gas stove but now we are in a new apartment that came with an electric stove. I really am lost with this oven. I went from being a good cook to a lost beginner 😂😂.
Easy Off fume free. Use it only! Never mix another cleaner/chemical with it AND never use a steamer with oven cleaners. Just spray the inside of oven and let sit for an hour, then just wipe it out. 10-4 👍👍🙂
May I ask please what kind of noise does the oven make once it's fully preheated ? I just moved into an apartment with the exact first model you displayed and I hit bake ..325 and start ..it made a double tapping noise but it was kind of quick and still had the preheat letters up then a few minutes later it just switched to 325;but when I opened the oven some smoke came out
Usually it just beeps when it is finished with preheating. Your oven likely says PRE during preheat and switches to your set temperature once it reaches it, which is normal. The clicking sound you heard may have been a relay on the control board (located behind the digital clock) which closes like a mini light switch, making that click noise. If you just moved in to the apartment then the oven was probably unused for a while. Perhaps it's some leftover stuff from the previous owner burning off. I wouldn't worry about it unless it lets out smoke every time you use the oven. (usually the smoke would be created from oils or food coming in contact with the element or burner)
Hello 👋 🫂 my best buddy Jay how is everything going for you and your family 👪 ❤️ well I hope and pray 🙏, my brother and his family have been dealing with the flue virus and so I haven't been able to get down there in fear of catching it he says there feeling better but I'm a little unsure about going down there just yet so that is why I haven't made a picture yet . I have been busy with my uncle on my mom's side of the family he has been loosing weight for the last few weeks ago hasn't been able to eat much because of stomach issues and he went to the doctor and found out he has colon cancer and it's spreaded to his liver and hip and kidney he went and underwent a bunch of tests Thursday so it will be a week before he knows anything definite but the Dr is sure it's stage 4 which isn't good but hoping and praying for a miracle..tell everyone I said hello good buddy and much love to you and your family 😊 Jay take care and God bless you my friend.

Sorry to hear about your brother, his family, and especially your uncle! Wow. Being sick is bad but stage 4 cancer is terrible.. I prayed for him too. May the Lord's will be done in his life. @@WordofAdviceTV well thank you buddy so much I wish I could see you all while you are over here but I know how it is with all of that seems like there just isn't enough hours in the days anymore I was just setting here thinking about my oldest uncle on my dad side of the family my dad's oldest brother he would be one hundred years old today hard to believe he passed away almost eighty one year's old so he has been gone for a while now but it doesn't seem like it tbh..I still can see his Cadillac pulling in the driveway he lived in Hialeah FL and would drive up once a year to see us and his mom my grandmother..I miss those visits now almost every person who has been a big part of my life is gone it's a sad thing to think about but I won't dwell on it and bring you down I hope you all are having a wonderful time here take care buddy and I will be praying for you all and I will be thinking of you all my friends..I'm just setting here on the front porch swing remembering things from the past. I'm afraid that is pretty much all I have nowadays the way things are going is the past but it's all good I think God for the memories 🙏.
Yeah, I don't think we will be taking any road trips while we're here. 😅 It can get a little sad thinking about the past, sorry to hear about your losses David. Do you talk to God while you sit there in moments like that? He is quite literally the best listener there is. Always present and knows everything that happened in your life. Who better to share your feelings and thoughts with right? In the Bible he urges us to pour out our hearts to Him and I know its very healing to do so. Thats why I'm telling you this. Just in case you haven't been talking to God lately, thought I should encourage you to try it.

My wife and I were making twice baked potatoes one night after checking on them she dropped an oven mitt in the oven. Smoke started to billow out of the oven and when I opened it I found the burned up oven mitt.
