- In this video, I have shared my experience with Ctenanthe Lubbersiana, the plant that originates from Brazilian rainforests and belongs to Ctenanthe / Maranta family. It is one of the most beautiful plants to introduce to your house. If a few points like proper warm humid atmosphere, correct watering and the correct amount of light, fertilising the plant is taken care of, then this plant is not a difficult one. Watch this video until the end to understand the care tips of this plant.

Ive been growing and collecting for 48 years. Hes spot on. Im subbing. This is my first vid of his. Now, i don't use neem oil but its still ok if others want to. My biggest one is very large approx 6 feet tall and wide. I have lots of babies from it and if you care the way he said it will thrive. 😊
So good 😊

Hello I have a few of these, could you please tell me how to prune, where to cut off where it gathers in a fan like shape, do you take that "joint" altogether, sorry if I'm not explaining well, wish I could lunk a photo, thanking you, love your content, new subbie
Yes I understood, I would rather propagate from roots as that is easier 😊
Can you give advice for outdoor care?
This plant will not last outdoors 😊
How often would you suggest spraying the leaves with water? I keep mine in my bathroom and take almost daily showers with the fan off to make sure the air is humid in there.
Then you don’t need to spray water 😊
