This is the beginning of the power creep cycle. They buffed tanks, but now mages can't kill tanks, so they buff the mages, then the ADC/assassins feel left out, so they buff those too, and then tanks complain they're getting one shot, so they buff the tanks.... Occasionally they interrupt to reset back down, and everyone complains that it's slow and impossible to get kills
Adcs and assassins “feeling left out” somehow feels like the most accurate reason for them to get buffs I swear their players complain more than anyone

Their value drops every time a new champ with 3+dashes gets added to the game because it gets easier for anyone to just dash onto them and compleatly mitigate the range advante while abusing the squishness and the fact they are under leveled from being in a 2 man lane.

Yes, Zwag. Connecting your home router to a UPS should keep the network going if the power cuts out. A lot of businesses use back-up generators to keep stuff like that going for as long as they can after an outage. I would also recommend something called a power conditioner for your computer, to provide some extra protection from brown outs and surges. And Lux always deserves a like!
Just a tip from an IT guy. if your GPU was smoking by the power connection and it is a newer GPU that has the little pins above the main power pins, that if I'm not mistaken is a known issue and you should be able to get it replaced via the vendor. Also putting in a UPS (Uninterruptable power supply) does help give time to shutdown your equipment correctly so you don't lose information. Even with one on the router and ISP modem, doesn't mean the internet connection will stay up and running, depends on if your ISP lost power as well if they did then the internet will still drop. Though it is definitely advised to have a UPS on all network and computer systems just to save the hassle that you went through. Have a great day and love the videos!
To answer your question about router power @TC Zwag Potentially, yes. It can keep the router going, but it ALL depends on where your neighborhood drop is, and where it's getting power. If your drop is on the same grid as your home electricity, then it will lose power with your house, since the drop needs power too. If the drop is not on the same grid, or the electricity goes out between the drop and your house, then the drop will still be powered and as long as the router has power you'll keep your service up. So TLDR, I would get a battery backup unit for your internet, but I wouldn't blow a lot on one, since its all really dependant on your drop location. I got her 5 times in aram and just felt like my dmg wasn't there like it used to be. Even with ludens and pretty much a complete copy of syndra build, syndra will still press 2 buttons and im deleted while I can barely kill someone in my full q e r combo. Glad she is getting this buff.
Power Supplies are the number one thing I never cheap out on. I go with watts above and beyond the CPU+GPU requirement. When I repaired PCs, most tickets (~65%) were resolved when I replaced the PSU with a known good, quality, PSU.
I was literally just playing her a few days ago and then played Xerath straight after and the damage difference was insane, she felt so damm weak so this buff is no surprise to me and very welcome
with all due respect, xerath and lux playstyles are different and laning phase is played differently. Lux most definitely has more early-semi mid damage than xerath...... what. 3 E's and some autos and early game opponent will die against lux after a q e auto.. Xerath takes 4-6 q's and some W's before they die early usually

Bruiser Braum top Either hail of blades/ lethal tempo/ or after shock runes Heartsteel mythic Titanic hydra Staraks Last 3 would be Any boot Situational armor/magic resist/ or attack speed items. Warmog also is a viable option This is mostly a theory build so not much play testing since I work +50 hrs a week and not enough time for multiple league games
I did Braum Lethal Tempo before but as support, my reasoning was his auto's apply his CC and applying his CC effect is the most important thing he can do in a fight, so attacking faster and sticking to enemies ought to be paramount right? It actually worked out pretty well I 1v1'd their jungler at one point
so I looked into it and the OFFICIAL reason Lux is getting these buffs is because her WR is 49-48% (sup) on Diamond+, even lower in the mid. So she's not performing in the high end ELO, likely because of tank bruiser meta (as you have observed). Burst champs are just going to underperform compared to anything that can do consistant dmg, dmg over time, or the all important HP%
Hey Zwag, i have made an observation about yourself and ioki among others: You tend to waste your homeguard speed buff while in fountain by walking out of the inner circle while browsing the shop, and not walk back in to reactivate it. Hey zwag. Could you play attack speed on hit ad katarina? Her autos, daggers, e and ult all apply on hit and her ult ad scaling scales off of attack speed. Bork>kraken slayer>rav>rageblade>wits end with berserkers greaves (berserkers alone give you 157% ad scaling on ult) Her ult late game does like 10000 damage depending on target health.
I like that they buffed lux scaling, and it would be nice to see other control mages get a scaling buff, but what would be really amazing is to see a ap buff in general, every season buildable ap goes down drastically
Yeah I also love getting cc’ed for fucking hours at a time. That’s actually one of my favorite parts of the game so I really hope riot makes it even better by buffing their damage.

BUT: pinging ward is not primarily for income but for your junglers pathing (be nice to junglers please) Especially when you dont buy pink wards, you wouldnt get the 5 gold from clearing, so pinging for the 5 gold and not spending it on pinks = giga income! check mate!

Wards are worth 30 gold. The first interaction with a ward is 5 gold out of that 30. That interaction can be a ping or a hit. If the ward is never cleared, you still get the 5 gold for first to ping it.
Power surge is good there is also a thing called Eco Flow power station you might find useful as well, that was a great game the other day sucks your power went out i enjoyed the video.
Im glad they buffed lux, cuz after the durability patch came out i felt like she wasnt dealing as much damage as before. I do think they over buffed her, maybe nerfing her E cuz its her main source of poke would do it

It does take away the gold from a kill, but like 90% of the wards you didn’t ping never got killed. It also gives you a perfect ward timer so you’ll know exactly when it’s gone away
I didn't watch the vid until the end, so I don't know if you realized it or not, but if you hit enemies with your abilities, they will be marked, ad if you aa them they will get some damage.
So your grabbing a UPS and yes most internet lines will last over 30 mins after a power outage before the nodes run out of battery power, so you can have internet while those around you dont. I used to run a dual UPS system Daisy chained as they also act as a surge protector and power conditioner so you dont get fluctuations in power making your system unstable.

Im COMM in the Air Force and we use UPS to make the computer last for 2hrs after the power cuts out. They auto charge as well while your using it

If you don't clear wards it's a net gain, yes pinging takes away from the ward kill, but an expired ward gives no gold so it's just a free fiver.

So your grabbing a UPS and yes most internet lines will last over 30 mins after a power outage before the nodes run out of battery power, so you can have internet while those around you dont.
I used to run a dual UPS system Daisy chained as they also act as a surge protector and power conditioner so you dont get fluctuations in power making your system unstable.
