As a Tenn fan, I predicted that back in September. I told my friends that we couldn't sleep on SC, they always play hard and scrappy against us. But our defense clearly wanted to throw a fit, and we all payed for it, including Hooker. But yes, I did enjoy seeing them take Clemson down a peg the following week. Made our loss more sweet and less bitter.

As a LSU fan this season was a emotional rollercoaster. From early disappointments to a mid season surge to then fall in the end to A&M and show glimpses against Georgia that could have went a different way had some weird early game things hasn’t happened. Anyways a great year for us and looking forward to the future

Seeing Alabama in the bleachers of the CFP is beautiful. And props to South Carolina for dispatching both Tenn *and* Clemson. Though I have to say, seeing USC playing on their home field get pile-driven by Utah to finally crush the incessant media hype train hoping USC would make it to the championship game at Los Angels Stadium is probably my favorite of the year. Getting to see two of four schools, none of which reside within a thousand miles of LA, play for the championship is beautiful.
@Bryce i think the matchups this year are more interesting and will be closer than the previous semi finals. My Buckeyes are definitely underdogs, but USC would have been 15-20 point underdogs against UGA, and the Michigan vs TCU game seems destined to go down to the wire the way those teams play

Well I'm a Dawgs fan and as mush as I Don't like USC and like Utah because my dad is a fan..... I really needed USC to win. But deep down I didn't think that was gonna happen. (because that Utah team is designed to beat USC) I like Ohio State though because one of my teachers is a fan. I was talking with him about how if USC won then it would be Washington vs. Ohio State in the rose bowl. He liked that but I understand that he would rather them be in the CFP. Now Washington will host Texas for the Valero Alamo Bowl.

Clemson was unlikely to get in before they lost to SCAR. They were down at 7 or 8 or even 9 before that game. UNC was never going to get in if they won out.
I mean none of these teams except for USC (who was #4) had a chance for the playoffs already. So what did they lose? All of the highlights of teams losing UGA should have been in here because thats the only way any of them would have gotten into the playoffs. The extra game loss SHOULD be penalized only when comparing to another team that made it to the extra game; the extra game's a REWARD. And in the case of TCU vs Ohio State, it's two-fold as to why TCU stayed #3: 1) their only loss was a close overtime loss vs a top 10 team in the B12 championship game whereas Ohio State's was a blowout loss vs Michigan during the regular season, and 2) the committee wanted to avoid a Michigan vs Ohio State rematch in the semis.
