@@alanhinkel420 depending on where they were at ,maybe they were concerned with the rains &rising waters washing it away,not sure how much rain they've been getting but in New Mexico they have had a fair share, it can be enough to wash it away..just a thought..
I thought the same thing . If it was a smaller person they might not have been able to pull it up the bank, so flipping it over when the water was low would keep it from floating away. when it rained the water lvl went up and it was under water.
@@daniellesmith1487 exactly..those boats are heavier than they look.maybe flipping was the solution..
They have handles for dragging on them and a 10’ is not heavy

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see you get back to the houseboat build & make it the sweetest houseboat EVER..With bunk beds,, a really nice & usable small kitchen with a stove top,, small sink & little fridge,, microwave,, a small fold out, & down table, a stereo with interior & exterior speakers,, a flat screen tv,, a sturdy sun deck on the roof with handrails,, maybe even a slide (if possible) & a small ladder for getting back on the boat,, a string of lights around the facia (top) of the houseboat & finally,, install pvc fishing rod holders and/or tiki torch holders,, at least one on each corner of the houseboat..I am a former construction contractor & would love to help/do it with you,, but unfortunately i just barely survive financially day to day,, As well as now also being disabled..I truly hope that you are able to make it the most epic/deluxe/sweetest houseboat to ever exist & make plenty of videos of you enjoying it,, camping,, cooking,, fishing competitions,, playing games (monopoly etc.) maybe some cards/poker etc. & maybe win some cash or some crazy thing the loser has to do etc.at your fold out & down table..Your loyal subscriber,, "Happy"

You need a winch that mounts to your rear receiver or have one on the front bumper or both. That way you can winch your boat in and out whether the front or the rear of the vehicle is accessible. It would beat tugging that boat.

I found an old 12’ johnboat in the woods while small game hunting. It was about 500yards from a river and mostly buried in silt from spring floods. I went back with a shovel and spent quite some time digging it out and to my surprise it wasn’t in bad shape. Went to the Secretary of State and it wasn’t stolen but they told me it was a 1964 War Eagle that hadn’t been registered for over 20 years.
Watching this while in the toilet helps a lot 😊

I don’t think there are any barnacles on that boat. Not that y’all would do it anyway unless you wanted to go to jail. I’m sure he doesn’t feel too bad considering the boat was worth about $250 - 500. Certainly not worth torturing or beating anyone. I think the boat looks better without the seats. And easier to transport. I thought you said your car was stolen? Your insurance didn’t pay for new seats , rims, tires and stereo? What kind of stereo did you have?

The thing to remember on a Hover craft or any type of a air propelled vehicle is WHEN IN DOUBT THROTTLE OUT letting off the throttle will give you even less control

Get a winch with a hitch mount for the back of your truck hitch to pull the boat up and down faster and safer
Why can’t you pull it up with the winch on the front?

@@TallAsian_2024 So, instead of moving the light, aluminum, boat from the front to the back, you move a heavy winch from front to back? I wouldn’t keep a winch in the back at all times. I know you’re talking about a removable one. But winches are slow.
