Never heard Ude Gaeshi called a Tornado throe before.
Second throw was basically a Korean seo nage.
    Both nicely demonstrated.
He looks like a great coach.

Love this throw , this throw was made famous by the founder of judo although he called it mountain storm
He travelled Japan taking on all comers with this throw. It is very effective.
I love practicing this throw . When I first saw it 22 years ago it blew my mind .
It became very quickly the most popular throw among the blackbelts in my aikido club . I had nearly forgotten about it . I'm definitely going to bring it back . Sometimes techniques do not need to improve they are perfection.

As a competing blue belt training 12 times a week this is the first throw that I rrally feel as doing. I've even had Tainan at the gym I train at (Atos Romania) and I really feel myself as a passador but I never use throws on opponents of the same level. I either wait for / bait them to pull guard or I pull and sweep but a guy at my gym did this to me a week ago, I looked it up and today I've succesfully done it 5 times on both people of lower and the same level. Still grinding but I love it.

Was about to say the same ^^ thanks dude, BJJ rocks and Abreu is a monster but most of the time people forget that BJJ comes from Judo (Maeda) who also come from Jiu-Jitsu. Don't know how that work international but in France, Ude Gaeshi can be used to go to the ground but doesn't score points. So you can't win by ippon with it.

I have made the mistake of not side stepping before going under and then my opponent attempts to take my back, just buck ur opponent off and drive forward to gain side control and try to never make that mistake again lol.
