Huawei is a second or two faster but also has 8GB ram and better processor. But i like A70 because it has a awesome battery life and better display so I dont care about 1-2 sec speed. I like to have alot battery juice and a super amoled screen.
Actually i owned a70 before but i decided to let it go in a few days because i came from nova 3i. I thought a70 would be the best but I've been disappointed on its performance specially when playing mobile legend. Frame per second fps was dropped automatically even i put on the mid resolution, and the signal bar was to weak compared to my old nova 3i. The battery was pretty good and the camera also, since mobile legend player here so im not happy to stay if i couldn't do much with my purpose. Now i bought nova 5t and its so amazing phone, specially it's a midrange level but the performance was like top smartphone model.
I've bought these two phones honestly. It depends on your daily use. I gave the Huawei Nova 5T to my son, he's using it mostly on his games, youtube. And the Samsung A70 to my wife cause she likes clearer crisp display, Pics, vids(Amoled) etc that most girls use or do on their phone. Both phones are perfect for their price.

Easy to bend po si Nova at hindi ideal for back pocketing. But when it comes to 5T performance, halos pareho lang po sila ng Mate 30 Pro in terms of latest Android O.S. at halos kasing sharp na niya yung camera ng Mate 30 Pro at halos magkasing bilis lang sila sa pag bukas ng app. Pero, siempre mas mabilis pa rin ang Mate na flagship ng Huawei.

Main problem for mid ranger phone of samsung is signal ive been to a8 2018 using for 2 years other phones like vivo huawei can access games or internet easily unlike my phone .. thats why i switch to nova 5t my first time phone in not samsung brand tbh
