It made me cry. I remembered how my grandma showed me how to decorate napkins, shirts and other little things by using this method. I forgot about it, sadly since nanna passed away 10 years ago... Will try to find our napkins and start this journey again, this time with my kids. Beautiful work! Thank you! 🥰

when I was really little, my great grandma taught me how to embroider. We would sit in her living room for hours and embroider together. Since I was little, I was never able to finish any of the projects I started, and because she lived in Illinois and my family lives in California, I wasn't able to visit that often to finish my projects. Sometimes, she would let me take some strings and finish them at home. The projects I made never really turned out very good because I didn't have super good motor skills, but gosh darn it I was so proud of the little bundle of grapes that I finished, and every single time I showed them to her, she would be so proud of me. She passed away seven years ago, and ever since then, I've tried hardest to improve my embroidering skills.
I can guarantee you she is proud of you. This even reminds me of myself! My grandma had dementia and we are putting her a nursing home so she can get taken care of. I never understood why people enjoyed embroidery so much until I took some of her extra floss home. I tried and fell in love, now it’s my goal to embroider some yellow roses for her (they’re her favorite flower). It’s a shame I didn’t pick the hobby up sooner so she could teach me, but I guess it’s never too late to learn :)

You can use a thin wooden board or even thick cardboard and duct tape the surplus at the back or fold the outside edge of embroidery to the back and staple or use small short nails to attach to wooden board and hang up (find picture hanging stuff in hardware store). I've also found a contrasting fabric and made pillows. My house is filled with flower - houseplant theme embroidery pictures and it is so cozy to be around. Best thing next to comfort food and no calories.
God I miss being able to embroidery, needle point, and cross stitch. I haven't done any of them for over 30 years. It is too painful for my hands, they look fine but they aren't. It seriously makes me cry to not be able to. You did a great job.
I know what you mean. I have very serious carpal tunnel syndrome on both hands , occupational hazard, but was thinking of maybe trying it out since this is one thing i've never done. I actually apply ice to my wrist after a day of sewing or doing scrapbooking any arts and crafts type thing. You should try maybe it will help.

What a beautiful piece! I've been watching tons of embroidery videos to get as much info, learning, and inspiration for my first piece - making a junk journal for someone and wanted to add a hand embroidered element to it. I've just enjoyed seeing all you lovely embroiderers on here - I've started working on my piece after months and months of just watching and I can say - this is harder than it looks. I'm having to brute force my way through some parts just because I don't really understand what I've watched and don't know if I'm doing stuff the right way, but I'm learning. Even if I have to do things my own way in some parts. Videos like this are such a help and gives me something to work towards!!!

I assume you can hang it on the wall. I don't see why you couldn't put a hoop on a pillowcase and do it that way.
The music is heavenly. Love your skills and PASSION.
Wow...this is the prettiest embroidery I have ever seen - love the flowers, color combination and design! Keep up the good work!
Yeah ...You are right ....Looks like you love doing it, don't you ?
So beautiful and I agree, you make it look so simple! Excited to start embroidering❤️
Thank you!
I wanna make this just so I can touch it
Secret Forreddit oh my god me too
Secret Forreddit same sis same 😂
I would like. To do that tood
God I miss being able to embroidery, needle point, and cross stitch. I haven't done any of them for over 30 years. It is too painful for my hands, they look fine but they aren't. It seriously makes me cry to not be able to. You did a great job.
What happened to your hands?
Maybe you can try a round loom? :) It’s much easier on the hands than knitting or crochet and yet you can turn out lovely scarves, hats, blankets etc.
I've done embroidery before but nothing like this. I love the different textures. I'm going to try this.
Как приятно лицезреть такую красоту.!🌈
Спасибо!
randomly popped up on my recommended and i dont even do embroidery 😂🤷♀️
Thats right

Me too. 😄
Me too. I'm interested after she made it look soooooo easy
That's because you're supposed to start. It's a sign:)
This has always looked like so much fun to me but didn’t know what tools I needed/were essential.
L O there are kits you can find online with different designs (florals wreath etc) with complete stuff from needle thread hoop to the template of the design you picked- you can find them on amazon or aliexpress i just bought two 🥰
I've been embroidering for a short time now, and I've tried some of your patterns. Here it looks so effortless and easy! It's not that for a beginner like me, but I still have a lot of fun! :)
It's all about practice :) I try to create simple patterns but to make them beautiful. I am glad if you still can enjoy them :)
Thank you for not talking and making it look so easy. Tutorials and gab get on my nerves. This was pleasant and enjoyable to me.
Thank you, very glad to hear that you enjoyed!
Wow...so I am just stating my embroidery journey. I ordered my fist kit and am so excited!!! This was so stunning to watch!!! ❤️❤️
Thank you!
One of the most relaxing and satisfying things that I’ve found recently. Well, it has actually found me randomly. I’m grateful anyway and even think I may have found a new hobby 🌸
Thank you so much for having a downloadable pdf for sale! This is so beautiful!
Thank you! We also have free PDFs and a lot of other patterns at our website vingert.store :) Welcome!
спасибо огромное, только благодаря вашему видео начала понимать технику вышивки гладью! 👍👍👍
Спасибо, рада слышать. Техник много разных, надо пробовать :)
I think I just found my new hobby
Sometimes it can be stressing because you messed up or are doing anew stitch. But maybe it’s just because I’m a perfectionist
If you don’t have a hoop at home, use a plastic container and lid. Just cut off the bowl (bottom part) and the middle of the lid and only keep the frame. I’m surprised how well it works!! 😍😍😍
I love absolutely everything about this video!
I'm getting ready to start my first project and I just loved watching and listening to this! I can't wait to start!
Thank you, glad to hear that! Good luck on your project!
Your videos put me in deep relaxation. 😳 I started embroidery and I love it. It’s sooo relaxing. 😊 Thank you for your great videos!❤️
Thank you, very happy to hear that! Wishing you more enjoyable days with embroidery :)

I think my phone’s been listening to me saying to everyone that I want to try hand embroidery...maybe I should pull the trigger and actually try it. Thanks for this video, keeping in my watch later’s :)
I'm now highly considering to start embroidering my own clothes, thank you!
Im painter who got addicted to embroidery . Thanks for making this side of me come out . I watch your videos like 3 days ago ? And i just finish two rose flowers . I put it in my canvas with paintings on it with beads , theres a lot going on tho . Its my first time trying out something new . I hate stiches and embroidery back then but now i never really know that i had the ability to create things easily . I thought this was hard well a liitle i got frustrated at first but at the end the flower turned out great . Lol
Thank you for your feedback! It's all about practice :)
the carbon paper is such a good idea that I never thought of. im glad i saw this!
Wow! Just can't keep my eyes away. Even watched the two advertisements 😅Amazing! I will try to do this
Thank you :)
I don't know why this video was suddenly recommended to me, but I like it. The embroidery is lovely.

I've always wanted to learn embroidery!! I wanted to try adding embroidered designs to some fabrics I'd use for Furoshiki (as a replacement for using disposable gift wrapping during Christmas) but I never got around to it since I never knew how to make my embroidery look good. But this tutorial was really helpful! Thank you 💖
Your art just made me fall in love to do this ❤️ I am Fashion technology student I Always get board to do embroidery as it takes much time to creat small design but watching you I am feeling to do that with enthusiasm.. thank you for that really ❤️😊
Same😊
Really it's amazing. I love this video and my next step is doing this. Thank you for uploading beginners videos
This is just to die for- the prettiest colors 🥰
Thank you!
*I never understood why the thread seemed continuous when embroidering.*
I would like to start but don't know how because I'm confused.
I was also confused at first so watch a lot of videos about embroidery and there are basic steps videos too 😀✌️ that's how i did
Just start small! It might be confusing and overwhelming at first but I think it'll be worth it. It's calming and at the same time you'll create beautiful things with your own hands.
Armyyyy
Start simple with a small flower similar to the pink one in this video
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by continuous, but when the thread on your needle runs out, you get a new piece! If you watch more tutorials and start practicing, embroidery isn't very hard to get the hang of :)
