My favorite moments were when they swore they would never be off of TH-cam. Then they left TH-cam.

1:30 Blowing through a carburetor is what we used to do with a turbo in the same year this Camaro was made. It was simple and foolproof, just add timing control and rig up your windshield wiper pump to blow in the water/methanol mixture at full boost.

i remember the day when they first aired this episode and it was soo good seeing the ramptruck being used and broken down on the side of the road and the gas in the armpits from filters clocking up from rust
Isn't this the trip that made the ramp truck get really rusty...

This was the one car on road kill I really would have loved to see more of. Been a big fan of top-speed anything since I was a young fellah and I'm still fascinated by land-speed cars to this day.
I'll tell ya something. I have seen SOOOO many roadkill episodes, and watching David try to set the record was pretty difficult to do. I can't imagine wrecking at these speeds . I have never met the guy. I never will. I still love everything he does. He is a class act from start to finish.

I've only been once - in 2001. - I still bore people about it🙂 Best motorsport venue of all.
Quite a few years ago I watched a NASCAR race where the finish was Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt. Gordon was in the lead, Earnhardt couldn't get around him, and Gordon took the win. A reporter later asked Earnhardt what happened, and Dale replied "I got beat! That's racing." And this also was racing. You run out of time, you run out of money, and things break.

I love roadkill The first episode I ever watched was on TH-cam and I think it was the one against Camaro and a Mustang and Freiburger an the end got this jeep and kind of crushed them

I used to love this show and was more than happy to give motor trend my hard earned cash to watch the Roadkill guys, but alas they wont take my money because I live in Australia and can not subscribe to them. Sad really.

Back when the guys cared about their viewers and Finnigan promised they'd never go to the dark side. The money grabbing ruined this channel for me. Back then I thought it was cool that Finnigan built the engine. Now we know how bad of an idea that is.....lol
