    This was truly beautiful. A lot of intermediate players play this, so if you made sure the sound of your speaking were clearer, and if you took it more slowly, it would truly be great. The piano sounds great.

    There is a lot of stuff there, and the higher the level of competece and skill I suppose that the air gets ever thinner and even more refined. It is all good, for some. However, I wonder what Bach would have thought when he churning it all out, , page after page, if he was alive today with access to modern musical instuments?

    does wheel technique have any relation with rotation? e.g. can we treat rotation as even smaller wheel?

    • @StevenMassicotte
      @StevenMassicotte  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. Rotation is a separate movement from the wheel, so no not a smaller wheel; however the two are often done simultaneously depending on the passage. So while the rotation occurs, the wrist can also move up and down.

    What's a wheel? Very well intentioned I'm sure but it's beyond me without basic definitions. A for effort though.

      I dont think Bach is for you then, try Justin Bieber or any modern rap song.

    Piano technique is bullshit. When a baby learns to walk it doesn't look at its legs to analyze how it's walking. It just walks.
