Is is necessary to clear wax first? I would like to try the glaze with dark wax over graphite to see if I can get a less splotchy finish. I don’t mind if the dark wax stains the graphite paint. (I have already tried the steel wool method but still a bit splotchy on the large flat sides of my piece). Would doing it as a glaze help? Thank you
I tried the glaze and it worked well thank you but am now wondering if it is enough protection with just the thinned down dark wax over the AS graphite paint?
Would be easier to see your mixing process and the mixture consistency if you used a clean plate. Thank you for sharing information was very helpful.
After this glazing process do you need to clear wax again?
Nope.
Great video! I'll definitely use this technique in the future.
Susan Crowe thank you! Great to hear!

What on earth is she mixing it on, a bowl would be better , that’s very messy
