I have blonde hair/blue eyes and I’m lactose intolerant. Time to turn in my white privilege card. Darn thing never worked anyway. Do I get oppression points now? YaY!
It should be noted that lactose intolerance is not a binary thing. While there are some people who do indeed completely lack the lactase enzyme (the enzyme that breaks down lactose), this is not always the case. It is not that you either have the enzyme lactase, or you are completely lacking it. Like with most things in biology, lactase persistence exists in varying degrees in people. I am a good example.. I can consume milk. A cup or two gives me no problems. However, if I consume copious amounts of milk, say several times that amount, then I will have gastric distress. Secondly, the degree to which you experience digestive discomfort and diarrhea from consuming milk can vary with frequency of exposure. So people who think they are completely lactose intolerance, due to a bad experience, may refrain from milk for a long time. The lactase enzyme, as with a lot of enzymes or hormones, when not triggered by environmental stimulus, down regulates. So when that person, who has abstained from dairy for a long time all of a sudden gets exposed to dairy, his symptoms maybe even worse. As a result, this may reinforce his impression that he truly lacks lactase. However, if he consumes small amounts of dairy, with some degree of frequency, he may find that his symptoms dissipate, and that he does indeed have the lactase enzyme, and can therefore enjoy dairy products. This may explain the inflated 65 percent number of lactose intolerance. This would be the more likely scenario. I have a hard time believing that the number of lactose intolerant people is this large, given how wide spread milk producing cows are in the world, and how long they have existed along side us since the advent of agriculture.
Drake Santiago Great points Drake! That’s why we say lactose intolerant “to some extent” both at the top of the piece and at the end. That doesn’t mean, say, that the 90% of people in East Asia who are lactose intolerant “to some extent” cannot consume dairy products. But it does mean that a lot of people there can’t consume massive amounts of lactose-filled milk/dairy without some digestive discomfort. So one cup may be fine-but two, three, or four may be ... tough.
Your digestive system is vulnerable because of something else you ate prior. Your system may not necessarily feel sick but can still be sensitive. Keep a food diary to figure out what triggers the sensitivity to dairy. I have IBS and can stray from my diet from time to time but not for a prolonged period of time. I have to let my gut recover in between eating "dangerous" foods or else I start to react to everything.

The economy is doing really well and it's likely Hillary would've increased taxes rather than decreasing them taking even more of our money to redistribute to those who don't work as hard and made terrible decisions throughout their lives. People should be allowed to keep as much of their money as possible. Clearly it's possible for a country to thrive on current rates of taxation. Those who are doing poorly are making an intentional choice to do poorly. Many drop put of school, work short hours, don't work at all, etc... Every income bracket works more hours then they lower income bracket before it with the exception of the top 1% working very slightly less than the top 5%. Both of those income brackets work over 30% more hours than the bottom to income brackets. So they do not get my sympathy at all.

i’m black and white and idk anyone on either side of my family who is lactose intolerant except for one distant cousin on my white side…i literally had no clue lactose intolerance was the norm and it’s hard for me to accept the fact it’s just crazy to me
I feel like in the future we'll just be able to trigger lactase persistence with crispr, so this won't be such a divisive issue. I literally had the opposite timeline of lactose intolerance to the narrator. From roughly 10-20 I started complaining that milk was making me sick, and it was, but I was pretty much addicted to cheese and ice cream, so when I knew I was going to be close to a toilet for the next 6 hours, I'd still imbibe. Eventually, roughly around age 20, it got to the point I could drink a 500ml chocolate milk carton, and it was like the world was right again. Just forcing myself to get used to it actually worked. Nowadays I drink... more than the american average, lol. Roughly 1-1.5 liters a day. Enough that a 2L doesn't usually last 24 hours, but it does sometimes. Each liter is roughly 2.2lbs, so I probably drink about 700lbs a year, 4x the national average nowadays.
A few years ago, most of the people drank milk and they didn’t even notice that they were having diarrhea because of that. And they were about 65% just the same, probably.
i like spicy food, but i don't handle spice well, so i always drink milk with spicy food since it neutralizes the spice. it never upsets my stomach, so this is how i know i'm stronger than most of the population. i can eat spicy food and drink milk at the same time and it does NOTHING to me

So one cup may be fine-but two, three, or four may be ... tough.
Bro brown people drink milk all the time
W R Did you watch the whole video? 😉
no way ...guess they white supremacists huh
But can you be sometimes intolerant? I have days where the milk kills me but most days I’m fine. Or maybe it was just bad milk 🤷♂️
You've described me to a T. There are days I can drink a gallon of milk and nothing. Some days if a drop of milk hits my big toe....going all day. Lol
Same. Often if I don't drink milk or get other lactose inputs for a period of time. Guess some bacteria need to reuild?
I hate it when this happens. It pisses me off, honestly.
We're the only animals that drink other animals milk ....weird .
We are only animals that build cars and planes, strange
@@eruno_ as per human intelligence.. it doesn't impact what are designed to do and consume. non human animal milk however, is not for humans. how stupid can people be? y'all deserve to get sick af
@@ngxoxo I drink milk without problems and feel great.
Cats drink cows milk. BOOM!
@@silasbishop3055 not in the wild . BOOM!
If this is what you need to mention to feel superior you are obviously not superior.
I did chocolate milk, strawberry milk, blueberry milk, vanilla milk
Vanilla milk is the best
Oh btw most adults aren't lactose intolerant that's such BS
And that’s why I like almond milk
The SUPERIOR RACE . lmao
It doesn't matter what race it is, I've noticed the ones who preach racial superiority are always on the lower end of the IQ scale.

Huh, I WONDER WHY?!?
Seriously though, those people are terribly hillarious due to their trailer park stupidity...
Like, watching the ‘Shendefroida’ heavy movies...like Johny Noxiville!
@@kyokyoniizukyo7171 I don't think you can blame Johnny Knoxville or stupid television for these people. They have existed since the dawn of time.
@@Justin.Martyr a superior waste of money . You know how many Male hookers you could've got with that money?
@@danki2000daniel I think it was a good investment.
This channel claims to be lactose intolerant but chugs "milk" from tube steaks!
I really enjoyed the animation in this one. Nice job!
Bible says it: We drink milk until we are grown. From there, we should eat alternatives and no longer drink milk - Makes sense.
Old Testament laws no longer apply.
There are pills that digest lactose for you, I know I'm lactose intolerant
I always got a box of them with me, makes it a lot easier to eat out or at friends house.
Yeah I carry them in my backpack. They’re not perfect-but it’s better that nothing!
@@Justin.Martyr what?
I realized I couldn't tolerate milk well when I drank five pints of semi skimmed milk in rapid succession. It made my tummy experience severe pain and made my sinuses blocked and chest tight.
Milk and mayonnaise. That's why their favorite rapper calls himself M&M. Milk and Mayonnaise, my friend.
Jokes aside you think it's just a coincidence Eminems name is after a chocolate candy?
Justin Martyr Land is more important than your crumbling perceived society. Get off of stolen land and go eat your milk and mayonnaise elsewhere, heathen.
As a fellow lactose-intolerant, this video is physically painful to watch
Is chocolate only for black people ????
Watermelons are lmao
Because humans aren’t supposed to have animal products. We aren’t animals.
Because milk is meant for babies and cows' milk is meant for baby cows
I'm lactose persistent!
LactAse* persistent :)
An elegant factor that is both epigenetic psychogenic rivals the diffuse genetic mechanism discussed in this video.
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me a lot in dealing with my situation.
i’m black and white and idk anyone on either side of my family who is lactose intolerant except for one distant cousin on my white side…i literally had no clue lactose intolerance was the norm and it’s hard for me to accept the fact it’s just crazy to me
One lactose intolerant human here. Gas you can't prevent from escaping is sooo... embarrassing. Not worth consuming sour cream, cream cheese etc.!
I love these series, keep it up Yara
Thanks dude!
Your first mistake was looking for logic in a group of people who think being born a certain color makes them superior somehow.
@@Justin.Martyr stop trolling you uneducated worthless troglodyte.
My daughter can't do cheese our milk she turns in to a bomb to lmao
Awe lol I hate milk but I would cry if I couldn't have cheese😂
Congratulations, you can drink milk from an ungulate. But can you handle the star at the center of our solar system?
Dairy-free milk? That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
The animation is EPIC👏👏👏
i’m middle eastern, a TEEN, yet still lactose intolerant
It's normal to be lactose intolerant in adulthood. Milk is for babies only.
I have always been lactose intolerance, but I don't need to use the restroom. I just release gas on and on.
Now I see what Filthy Frank was talking about...
I am glad that I am Swedish, German and British--I have no problem with dairy
I’m lactose intolerant but I drink them anyway. For me, it’s bit like a gamble because some brands of milk are okay but some are not.
*Imagine the utter inferiority complex, getting triggert by beeing lactose intolerance.*
No one is Lactose Intolerant.. its just.. we are not BABY COWS!
No wonder why I can’t drink milk I’m Italiano
This was adorable
I also found out ,if you do a colon cleanse every so often;it will allow ,your body to digest milk products will out no problems.
Loved this vid it’s so funny !!!!! Yara is really nice 🙃
Great video! 💝💝💝
Peachy Yinka Thanks!
When you have so much food that you start to become allergies to it
A few years ago, most of the people drank milk and they didn’t even notice that they were having diarrhea because of that. And they were about 65% just the same, probably.
Great video dude! I always loved milk and cheese but I’m slowly developing lactose intolerant to just cold diary products unless it’s heated up
i literally don't know any lactose intolerant people who actually avoid dairy, myself included. like i'll just suffer? milk and cheezy tasty????
i like spicy food, but i don't handle spice well, so i always drink milk with spicy food since it neutralizes the spice. it never upsets my stomach, so this is how i know i'm stronger than most of the population. i can eat spicy food and drink milk at the same time and it does NOTHING to me
