Multiplayer Monday idea: You each build a boat with a vacuum pump connected to a chest filled with concrete. The goal is to sink the other ships by building on them with the vacuum pump. (Day III)
I like the idea, but with one small change. I'd say one player controls pitch, while the other one gets roll. No yaw for anyone. The reason is that a plane can turn with just pitch and roll (you can turn without yaw by rolling sideways and pitching 'up', then rolling the other way to straighten out -- actually this is what kAN *always* does when making his own planes). Splitting up the pitch and roll like that means they need to work together in order to turn at all! Then put them in a flying course with rings and sharp turns, like the one kAN used for the Noob v. Pro planes episode... 😈
Would be cool if they would do a Multiplayer Monday with Battlebots like at 15:00 in the latest Workshop Hunters Episode. Make them from Glass and Cardboard and give them Spudguns and Drills and see which one survives in the Arena in a free 4 all. Different colored Sensors for Movement in the Arena and Fighting/Aiming at the Target should help prevent Confusion in the Bots.
Do a race where you start off on foot. After reaching the first checkpoint you get some basic blocks to build with, you can only use those blocks almost like challenge mode. The following checkpoint you get more blocks and items to make your vehicle a bit better, and so on adding to it every time you reach a new checkpoint.
Kan is a true brick artist. All of his vehicles in normal context of multiplayer Monday have for better or meme worked as intended. This time though it seems it has come at the cost of constantly turning left without scrapmans help.
Hi ScrapMan. I broke my wrist today and have a temporary cast on, but tomorrow I'll get a real fiberglass one. Even tho I cant play SM or any other games, watching your vids always cheers me up :)
Hey, you can play turn-based RPGs like Pokémon easily with just one hand, since the game will wait for you to make your selection! And maybe check out some classic-style turn-based/tactical roguelikes, like Cogmind or Tangledeep? Not sure if I'm helping, but it's worth a shot...
I think in this case, You guys need Audience votes to say who's Portions were better serving, and who's was the biggest liability. It seemed Moonbo's portion was most stable for it's job, Kan's was totally crazy, ejecting and heavy like mad, and way too tight around the user.. And scrapman's had a very simple flaw that it just needed one more wall around the sides, but it was pretty reliable. So My order would be Moonbo 1st, Scrapman 2nd, and Kan 3rd. I wonder though, would putting the rotation sets on the back of the vehicle have been an improvement for the Franken vehicle's control? hard to say without trying it. But it looked like an awesome challenge in the end!
You could make a crazy crawler co-op race. Just a straight line race, but you have a fairly big vehicle, one that you guys can run around in like in Volcanoids. The buttons color coded to each player must be pressed in order by their respective player. The buttons are logiked up so that one player can't stay on 1 button and keep it going and they must keep running to other buttons. But you press a button at the front right of the vehicle and that wheel spins 360 degrees. Then your button for the back left unlocks and you have to go smack that to make that wheel turn 360 degrees, and then front left, and then back right. But everyone's got buttons cycling around so you can have the wheels all going at once if you time it right, but just going over some bumps and through a corn field would be enough of a challenge due to how technical it is. If you want to abuse yourselves, make a turn in there and try to coordinate that. But the key part is it's a large vehicle with hallways that are decently cramped and possibly at least two stories high, you can only press 1 wheel button once and then you have to run to a different wheel before you can press that one again, you can only press your button, get to the end of the course. Abuse yourselves even more and have flubber wheels.
IDEA: Multiplayer remix. Visit old challenges, knowing how your creation worked during that competition, everyone builds a new creation for the rematch.
That creation kan made at the end gave me an idea. What if each person had 4 buttons which powered each of the directions of thrust, and all you had to work together. Like there's 4 thrusters, and each of you had your own spot with 4 buttons to power each thruster, and if there are 4 of you, then there would be 16 buttons in total. And every player had control over the 4 thrusters
Ooh, similar idea. Co-op land race, two people per car. Passenger up front facing forward, driver facing backwards. Driver has to be in first person, and the passenger gives directions. Two laps, and the roles switch after the first lap
Here is a co-op suggestion. Air, land, and sea race. One person builds a basic lightweight engine-powered car, one builds thruster-powered wings, and one build thruster-powered flaoting/frictionless pontoons sections, and you frankenstein them into a car that each one of you has to stair and power the vehicle through your respective race
I have a Trailmakers Co-op Challenge idea; Double Decker Cars! Round 1: Each person builds a car, 4 power core limit, 5 minute build time. You then race the cars, person who wins gets a point (first to three points wins overall). Round 2: Each person combines any two of the cars that were made in Round 1, one on top of the other. 10 Power core limit, 5 minute build time. You are only allowed to modify power cores and the bottom vehicle to help with stability. Race the cars. Repeat Round 2 as many times as necessary. Alternatively, you could have teams were the top car controls the steering and the bottom one controls the speed (Top Gear did this in real life twice). Love your Mulitplayer content! FYI: I've uploaded an example onto the Workshop, it's just called "Double Decker Car". "Top DD Car" and "Bottom DD Car" have also been uploaded to show that both cars are fully functional. They took much longer than 5 minutes to make...
an idea kinda from that last bit of this episode, what if for a co-op build every one builds their section like normal, then you link all of your controls with logic [kan or someone im sure can figure something out] so everyone controls everything [steering, forward, reverse, etc], but the catch is that whatever function only works if everyone is pushing their button for it for example the vehicle would only move forward if everyone was holding forward.
One co-op challenge you could do would be involving trains. Challenge: You need to transport cargo from the start point and get it to the end whilst stopping at 2 stations along the way to transfer the cargo to another train (which is were he train building comes into play as not only does it have to be strong, but also fast). You'll also have a time limit to get the cargo to the stations, so you don't cause delays for the railway line.
If I had to award 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, I would have to say that kANs caused the most issues due to the weight imbalance. It was a constant hinderance, so 3rd place to kAN. ScrapMans short walls were the next biggest problem, so 2nd place to ScrapMan. Moonbos creation had virtually no issues when compared to the others so 1st place to Moonbo.
Scrap Mechanic Co-op: Ladder Climber Trailmakers Battle: Dogfight Evolution - Start with a plane build with limited cores and limited, lowest tier parts. The winner of each dogfight gets the losers planes, to add on to his own. Once you have 3 of a tiered part you can upgrade to 1 of the next tier, or you can keep the same tiered part till you have 6 and then upgrade to 2 of the next tiered part. The losers are granted more cores and parts ,of the same tier, after each dogfight. Allowing the losers a chance to evolve but at a slower pace.
Could have done a lot more with this challenge One drives, one steers, one spots Driver and steerer in first person in enclosed boxes and spotter leads Take turns and whoever the spotter is that gets the best time is first place?
Ok now I need to see some SM soccer also with the fact that you can just push creations I propose a chariot type race with y'all push/pulling your chariots
Pushing things with your mechanic has been around for a while I think, if you look at the thruster sled mm video from 3 years ago, scrap mans sled got slowed down from the other guys standing in front of it. I've also been using it to flip stuff over for welding I belive since before survival.
Multiplayer Monday Idea: Duo tank battles where each tank has a gunner and a driver and you have to work together to destroy the other tank. (This would need 4 people if possible). You could use either proper tank cannons for the sake of realism, or just use spud guns and have the tanks have an explosive core and be made out of cardboard if you want the battle to last longer
Since a couple weeks ago they joked about hide and seek with rocks, and they did it, I’m now expecting nexts weeks video to be them playing football (I’m British, so soccer for people who say that) with different parts...

MM suggestion, build co op vehicles where one person stands on top of a vehicle and has to shoot bots and the other drives the vehicle. I’ve done this with my friend both in creative and in our coop survival world and it’s really fun
I made a challenge mode for 3 player CO-OP a while ago. Search for "multiplayer monday challenge" on the workshop. If you decide to try it, I hope I didn't make it too hard! You have to make 3 vehicles with the provided parts!
How about...build a symmetrical vehicle that is self stabilizing, and can float, fly and drive on land. It takes 3 people to operate. One person controls forward driving and turning for the ground vehicle, the second person controls vertical thrust for flying and the third person controls forward propulsion and steering in the air. But NO seats to control anything! All sensor based controls at the 3 individual stations on the craft. No boxes of sensors you stand in, and no sensors on the floor or ceiling. You can use blocks as a seat back to stop you from sliding away from your station during movement. Then build a course where you need to land and all three of you must leave the ship to destroy a color coded target for each player, before you can leave for the next targets. Have...say, 10 sets of targets scattered across the map, some up high, some in the water, some in the canyon...etc. Then time each run with different operators, at different stations, to see who is the most proficient at driving, flying and vertical control:) Just an idea:) Keep up the great work holmes!
They've done that, sort of, but whacking it with a hammer. Turns out you can even be *in* it while doing that (though they kept getting randomly thrown out of the cars)...
Y'all should do Co-op plane where one of you controls one wing, one controls the opposite wing and the third is in charge of tail fin and forward movement
