It's refreshing to hear a reactor that doesn't just pause the video to say that was a bar. You're an intelligent dude and your insight on the concepts in these songs is just as good as the song itself. You, crypt, and layedbak are the only 3 reactors where I actually enjoy all the pauses and insight, whether it's technical or simply an opinion. Great job bud. Keep it going.
i just realized the lyric ab the “suicidal crazed lions” is an allegory to the verse in the Bible saying “the devil prowls around like a lion, seeking whom it may devour” :0 thassa bar
Bro! You did not just react to TOP like I’ve been waiting for AND THEN 24 HRS LATER react to my favorite of their many many many songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Edited: TOPs followers are much like NFs followers. Honestly, IMO I think this is what’s happening. Both of these artists have made it clear they are artists that are Christians vs “Christian artists”. Christians that value high art-musicians with substance and skill-have frankly been starving from what’s been available in the “Christian music scene” since about Y2K. Both of these artists are connecting their real experiences and the struggle of life with their faith in a relatable way. But they also acknowledge that everyone, Christians and non-Christians, experience these struggles, so they are making music that can reach both audiences and get play on any radio station. In doing so they are bringing the two groups together. Where there was division, through music they are creating unity. People like me have been waiting for those kinds of artists.
What's with the Ø? That doesn't fit at all, "øne" sounds nothing like "one", but I've seen the abbreviation use the Ø in place of the O, so I guess it's a thing, just not sure why?
RamuDon “The band's name was originally stylized as "twenty | one | pilots" on their earlier cover art; however, by the time of their second album, Regional at Best, the formatting was changed to "twenty øne piløts" with a diagonal line through the Os.”
Bravo, sir. Your videos are really good. You’re very good. We’ll be watching. Anyone else think the shirt you’re wearing is crazy ironic for the lyrics? What were the odds? Did you not realize the shirt you put on that day? Some days I forget the shirt I’m wearing, while I’m wearing it. 😌
YO IM SCREAMING IM TOO MUCH OF AN AETHIEST😭😭😭 I NEVER KNEW HOW TO DO LIKE THOSE CROSS THINGIES AND THEN JUST REALIZED IVE BEEN DOING IT EVERY FUCKING TIME I LISTEN TO THIS SKNG
Laura Martin-Falla yeah they’re pretty religious people and a lot of their songs are Christian based but everyone can relate in someway I’m an atheist but their music is relatable in someway
Tyler Joseph is a lyrical genius, you'll know once you do other tøp songs as well. This song is from vessel, one of the best tøp album ever and also their first studio album.
The ending of Migraine is quite nice as well. Its just how he stops with "f-", the way he shows that there can always be an unexpected ending. Quite depressing, but thats TOP
You nailed the juxtaposition between the content and the music. These guys are just freakin high art, man. Every song is a Picasso and not a single bar played or word sung or rap spit is done as filler or unintentionally. 🔥
This is one of my favorite songs by top. I wrote a 2-3 page paper on this song for my freshman English class. There is so much to unpack here lyrically. Tyler Joseph is a lyrical genius!
Can we talk about that completely nailed breakdown of the song? Oh also, this is important: Tyler has said that he won't tell anyone that their interpretation of a song is incorrect. This is because he knows how important it is for a song to mean a very specific thing for some people, and he doesn't want to take that away from them. Basically, "If that interpretation gets you through the day and helps you sleep at night then yes, you're absolutely correct, that's exactly what the song is about."
I've always thought how awesome would it be to see you reacting to twenty one pilots and breaking down their lyrics. They are deep and never disappoint. Can't wait to see more!
Welcome to the clique! ||-// I'm definitely subscribed now, if you can understand what tyler is talking about in his music then you are already better than 90% of other reaction channels. Can't wait till you listen to Trench. Keep up the great work!
Maybe the best reaction and lyrical breakdown of this song I’ve seen. I’ve listened to this endless times and you added a bit more flavor to it so it’s all new again for me. Great stuff hit play in 0.6 seconds lol. Oh and that Lil Dicky 🍎 🍊 rant 😆 Keep it up I’m down for any TOP you do
I am beyond amazed by your reaction. You're educated, you can see the connections and metaphors Tyler (the singer) makes and thats amazing. and you were right, the lyric about sundays being his suicide days means that he loses faith/is scared that his relationship with god isn't good enough.
Guns For Hands and Car Radio are both really deep and have very important messages, and Ode to Sleep is also really deep and the video shows some of the progression of Tyler and Josh getting to where they are
I've always known about this song,I love it and I give with it hard, but hearing someone with as much lyrical break down the song just bring new life to it, peace and love. #ThirdGoddd
Heard this song hundreds of times, obviously without headphones- never heard the count after depress- ing thoughts. Very cool! I’m so excited about this new journey...🔥🔥 Thanks patreons!
Read when he was writing songs he finally found out he could use his version of rap to bring more content into his songs and what he wants to say. I believe his song Taxi Cab from self titled in 2009 was his first rap he wrote. It’s an awesome song btw. They played it on stage B at their 2018 concert which was so awesome to see live.
One important thing about TØP is that all the songs are written to be amazing live so please if there's no video choose a live version of the song. This song is even more amazing in "the live room" version 💛🌻 Thanks for the reaction..lovely breakdown of the lyrics. And I'm glad that you mention the sad lyrics and the upbeat music thingy 😊
I love Twenty One Pilots they are so freaking good. You should look up Heavy Dirty Soul ft Chester Bennington. Chester loved Twenty One pilots and a fan mixed a snap chat when Chester was rapping the first verse Of Heavy Dirty Soul. Its one of my favorite songs and Car Radio

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how you breakdown your take on lyrics. It's amazing! Sometimes you bring out things that I miss whenever I listen to these songs and it blows my mind ♥
Thank you for taking the time in your reaction to say those words about depression and mental illness. You’re absolutely right, more people need to be talking about it to help others feel less alone and help people realize just how many people suffer from mental illness. Great reaction! 👍🏼👌🏼👏🏼🙌🏼❤️💛💙
Man...I just want to see your reaction to ALL their music now...you get it...you do a great job of breaking it their songs down and your on point! Everyone hears different things and gravitates to the meanings that feel right to them. The line "Sundays are my Suicide Days" I feel alot of people young and old HATE Sundays...not because of the day itself but because the next day is Monday...Monday starts the new week and back to being surrounded by fellow coworkers or school mates that don't get you or tare you down...but again, that's just my take. But ya...please keep that TOP flowin' man. Great videos👍
I’m really glad I clicked on your video! The fact you actually listen and make such insightful comments on the lyrics is really refreshing! I genuinely enjoy hearing your thoughts on not just the song but the message it gives as well!
BRO this is the BEST reaction video compared to other reaction videos I've seen! I love how you break the lyrics down and you explained your interpretations well. LOVE IT
I've read multiple accounts of this song saving somebody's life. People being ready to end their life and switching on the radio one last itme, hearing this song and realising they are not alone
As a person who’s also struggled with migraines my whole life, I can definitely say that pain is absolutely debilitating. I had one last week that had me curled up on the bathroom floor trying not to throw up and seriously contemplating gouging out my own eyes to try and stop the pain.
I really appreciate that you took 15 minites to break down one song because that really is how much twenty one pilots puts into their music. This is the best analysis of Migraine I have ever seen
you should check out some of tyler’s old music, like hole in the ground from his album no phun intended. You really see how much his mindset has changed from when he was younger to now. it used to be so dark
I discovered this channel when he reviewed an Evening With Silk Sonic. From that point I’m a fan and when he dropped review for Dawn FM, man my respect for this dude went off the rails. This man deserves waaaaaaay more views and subscriptions. Keep up the good work and thanks for your wild appreciation of music.
One thing to add to your (extremely well done) analysis, in regards to the Sundays are suicide days line. I too am a Christian. Sunday is church day, and most of us enjoy it. But for some of us there's another side. My Lord died for me, and yet I know I'm not living up to His expectations. When you suffer from depression, as is also true for me, it's easy for some Sundays to become very dark. But there is always light.
I've seen other people react to twenty one pilots, but you are next level. I saw this video right after the one you did for Lane Boy, and this are hands down the best reactions I've seen. The way you are breaking down the lyrics make then hit even harder than they already do. Hope to see some more.

Yesss yesss yesss!!!! Thank you so much!!!! I been wanting for you to react to Twenty One Pilots since I saw your reactions to NF because they are also so deep with their lyrics and music videos!!! Love your lyric brake down you always catch what I might of missed and I heard this song many times!!! they are definitely a band you have to pay attention to what they’re saying!!! Highly suggest Ode To Sleep, Neon Grave Stones and more if I don’t stop now I’ll have two pages of recommendations!!! But I’m so happy you going on a Twenty One Pilots journey you won’t regret it I promise!!! They are something else, a unique sound deep lyrics that make you question and realize things and on top of that they are so unpredictable never know what to hear from them!!! So I’m very exited for future Twenty One Pilots videos!!!
I just love tøp and im so glad with them cause as you said they made us realize that we're not alone in this, and Also made a great community conformed with tøp's fans that help each other trough depression or others mental illness
less than 24 hours later? dude, it seems like my routine listening to this band xD And yes, Tyler is Catholic. if you can, listen to his solo album (he recorded in his basement, so the quality is low but the lyrics are fire) called "No Phum Intended". This album is practically him writing a conversation with God. And "Addicted to a pen" from the album self-titled (twenty one pilots) is one of the most beautiful of them. Religion is not so apparent after Vessel, but it is very important in his life and helped him cope with anxiety and depression.
One of the biggest metaphors for me in this song is the ending line he says you made it this and doesn’t say far why not say far more or less being why not just finish it off, why not keep going it. There are more ways to take it in the fact that Tyler didn’t finish it and that Tyler chose to end it but then also could have made you continue it. So deep for not saying anything at all.
How have I never heard the counting in the background??? I guess I've never listened to this song close enough to catch that, but now that you've pointed it out I'll never un-hear it.
Guns for hands is a great and pretty deep song, along with car radio. Neon gravestones is depressing but very important

Laura Martin-Falla pretty sure it was Samson who fought the lion. Could also reference Daniel in the lion’s den.
@Laura Martin-Falla David fought and killed both a lion and a bear to protect his sheep.
Twenty one pilots-chlorine...if u can explain this song your be the goat of break downs......

you should react to some of their live stuff! suggestions would be holding onto you live, trees love, jumpsuit live
Ode to sleep is a really good song and explains a little bit of twenty one pilots storie...
less than 24 hours later? dude, it seems like my routine listening to this band xD
And yes, Tyler is Catholic.
if you can, listen to his solo album (he recorded in his basement, so the quality is low but the lyrics are fire) called "No Phum Intended". This album is practically him writing a conversation with God. And "Addicted to a pen" from the album self-titled (twenty one pilots) is one of the most beautiful of them.
Religion is not so apparent after Vessel, but it is very important in his life and helped him cope with anxiety and depression.
addict with a pen is on the self titled album x
@@gurunmaria4040 sorry 😅 my mistake.
You just gained another sub, my man. I can’t wait to watch your other reactions! Keep up the great work!
You gotta react to holding on to you by twenty one pilots! It's my favorite song from them and it has a strong message
How have I never heard the counting in the background??? I guess I've never listened to this song close enough to catch that, but now that you've pointed it out I'll never un-hear it.
You’re my new favorite reaction channel🥰 I like how you go into detail with every lyric.
Before all the song requests come in, just wanna day keep up the great work.
Also there’s a music video.
