I like it when dads are all about their daughter's hair care and what the need to make them feel beautiful ❤
My dad used to give me a bowl cut and that certainly didn't make me feel beautiful but I appreciated that I could see out of my long bangs hahaha

When I was young, we were lucky to have very cheap shampoo. We didn’t even have conditioner. We had to use anti-dandruff shampoo & it made my hair so dry. I’m glad I can buy whatever haircare I like now.

@@nicholetthamilton7726you’re right 😃 Zoe really wants to do gymnastics as well but so far I haven’t been able to find an opening for her yet but hopefully I can get her in somewhere soon. I think she’ll be great at it as well. But for now she is really enjoying swimming classes 😃

Love Ava's hair. We curly girls have a hard time finding products that work for us. Varsity jackets are my favorite too so a lavender one is just so cute.💜

Good on you for taking the time to learn about the girls hair care. You’re a dad of all trades!!
Before I was a single dad, I learned to do the basic pony tails and would wash and co wash their hair. It was very much a let’s learn the basics kinda thing in all honesty. But when I became a single dad, I realized how important hair is to girls and I never wanted them to feel like spending time with dad meant going to school with hairstyles they didn’t feel great about. A lot of youtube tutorials and amazing advice from a lot of viewers has gotten me this far.
These school holidays I’ve been spending time with the girls trying to teach them to do their own hair. We still have a long way to go! But we’re getting there. There’s a part of me that’s looking forward to the day that they can do their own hair or each others hair as it will free up time for me… but there’s also a part of me that knows I’m going to miss the quality time we have when I do their hair. It’s that one time they’ll sit perfectly still and we usually have some great chats during hair time as well.
The girls are just the sweetest. I love the moments you shared at the park. They are both confident little girls.

Find a good and reputable beautician/brader.
Make sure you get their ends trimmed appropriately every 2 months or as needed .
Their hair will really really grow.
Also take them to get their hair braided. Usually they will need it re-braided every 6 weeks to two months or as needed.
Get silk bonnets to keep the frizz to a minimum as much as possible.
Having the girls hair braided will save a lot of time doing their hair in the mornings on a daily basis.
Just some helpful tips.
