The series gets better as it goes and actually gets a plot beyond "our mc is overpowered and doesn't even realize by how much" trope.. and it does get a little hidoi at times, later in the season
Such a fun anime.
Thing i love most about Shin having no common sense; He sees no reason to hide his power, and so shows off powers without much if any smugness.
Also love how Aug is really just here to mess with him like a actual friend would. His expressions are great.

That Kurt kid has some major issues 😂 like go sit down kid. I like that Aug said royal titles mean nothing but when it comes to Kurt you have to pull that on him otherwise he won't listen. & yeah it's not a big budget anime but it's fun 😂 & Aug is one of my favs he's very cool and appreciates that Shin treats him like fam
Love the reaction and the interesting viewpoints that u guys have. Not a lot of people rate this anime very highly but it's nice to see it being shown some love as it's one of my favorites. I would love to see more underrated anime reactions, especially for "Isekai cheat skill" since it has great animation and it has a little twist on the Isekai genre which makes for a great story

I love this show, and my friends think I am weird for it. lol
This is what I llike to call "Weeb Junk Food" this is like those off brand junk foods that are dangerously addictive, and you can't help but finish them once you start no matter how bad you think it is. Like those off brand cheeto puffs that come in a 2 gallon plastic barrel.
Exactly, it is a trash show, you know it I know it. but most importantly the show knows it and just has fun with it and that immediately makes it addictively entertaining.
They actually added the hint to why his enchantements are so op:
He uses japanese letters (dont remember which ones), so he uses less characters for the same enchantement...That way, he can put more powerful and also more different enchantements on the gear...
Edit: the hint is the changing letters...He deletes that worlds letters and writes japanese letters...
I thought he write his enchantment with his knowledge of the past world hence he got science describtions on his gear whats make it so powerfull.
@@maximiliankruse8843 That also, but that is mainly the reason, why his magic is so powerful. Gear has a limit of characters it can be enchanted with, and that worlds language needs more characters for the same words.

funny how the subtitles say that the girl name is ''Sizilien'', in the portuguese subtitles they say ''Cecilia'' .
from what I watch in the past..the subtitles pronounce her name as Sicily.

Kind of unrelated but I've watched you guys for a while now and can't find much about you. So from what I've read and heard. Yeo is Korean and Chinese.. yet you guys seem to speak a lot of Japanese and your English is perfect. Just curious where you all live at and if your family is Korean or Japanese, mixed? If you want to share. If not; I understand. I do find your reactions unique and fun though. It's refreshing to see you guys poke fun at the tropes and still give props where deserved. Skeleton Knight in another world is a fun anime too if you guys haven't seen it yet.. I love the intro to it
We are Korean. But yep completely raised in America. And we are weeb enough to know the common Japanese phrases in anime

I think its interesting theyre like " oh noooo he wasn't taught common sense, but he was a corporate worker in iapan, and clearly he remember his old life, teleportation would be a big deal to us,although I guess we assume " they know magic, so they should know hoe to teleport "
I think it's also that he knows so many things that's not common knowledge in their world as well, outside of just his use of magic etc. so just explaining things confuses people. Shin uses logical implementation for his spells, which is unorthodox. And he's basically creating a wormhole with his "gate" hence the two dots on a piece of paper but folding spacetime, a la Interstellar. It's as popular way to explain the Einstein-Rosen Bridge, especially in media.
The king: the massive upgrade to the school uniform would be great vs any would be assassins. This is a great boom for my son.

Its called an opinion bud people can have a different one than you not every opinion cancels out other previous opinions one has had. its crazy but people can compare what they like and dislike about stuff they’ve seen previously
They said cautious hero.. that's different than Arifureta: from commonplace to worlds strongest..
The anime they mentioned is The hero is overpowered but overly cautious.. which is a comedy isekai.. This one is actually really good.. just suffers from low budget problems, which don't bother me.. it's still better than some and doesn't rely on cgi constantly
As much as I absolutely loved Arifureta in both manga and the web novel, the anime is kind of shit, let's be honest. It's definitely not the worst I've ever seen, but rushed and cut content + very mid animations and directing did no favors to it

as a german, i had to cringe a bit when they got to siziliens name, cause its just the german word for sicily, the southern-most island of italy lmao
It's defenetly better then Arifureta, but Cautious Hero? Nah, it was peak before Shadow arrived.
Honestly, I liked the manga better. In the manga, when Sicilia sees Shin walking away depressed, she and her friend assumed her didn't pass and they wouldn't see eachother again. I felt it played out comedically so much better than the events in the anime.

Anything is better than Cautious Hero. But I can't get past just how much Aug looks like Aoyama from MHA.
This is similar to konosuba, where they have all the tropes, but they're overplayed a bit in a good way to make it more fun. It's trash, but it's also fun, at least until the last episode imo.

This show is the fun kind of trashy. It's generic and it plays to the tropes, but it doesn't use that as an excuse to be lazy.
This is really a boring op Mc anime with no writing but if you guys will watch it still for some reason 😭
