  • In todays episode we have Chef Rick teaching us about the smallest oven in the TurboChef family, the Eco.
Watch him cook a breakfast and dinner dish in under 5 minutes!
We at Eaton love the Eco and in the wise words of Rick Pawlak …“smallest unit in the bunch, but man it packs a punch”

Great video. Instructional. The sound quality isn’t great but in kitchens it’s hard to get good sound…but also the instructor can get it! Yummy! And I don’t mean the food.

Really great video. Can you please include the Turbochef settings for all of the different foods?

We are having a local baker create a custom menu item for our coffee shop... Essentially it is a fancy homemade hot pocket with puff pastry. I was hoping to keep them frozen until order, then defrost/crisp in a turbochef unit. You mentioned this was not great for frozen items, but for something like a "hot pocket", will this do the trick? Or, if not, is another turbochef unit recommended? Thanks a ton!

Hey Neal! I’m sure it can be done in the TurboChef. I would just recommend using the Sota because it has a stronger output using 2 magnetrons instead of the 1 in the Eco.

The spec sheet on Eco shows 20 amps of electric required for this oven but you are saying it needs 30 amps, which one is correct? I am actually in the process of buying one.
