My day 1 Switch is still alive and kicking as in dedicated console mode not leaving the dock. Later got a Switch lite then Switch oled. Now waiting for Nintendo's next hybrid console/handheld.

Why not fix your old Switch? You could go to tech repair shop. I got my 2017 Nintendo Switch console fixed for $50.
