    Ho assistito dal vivo a questa Gioconda,opera splendida e e splendidamente eseguita sotto il profilo vocale e musicale.Peccato la r3gia e scenografia astrusa e @bbia cancellato tutta la magia e lo splendore con elementi a volte ridicoli.PECCATO. Sar3bbe possibile ritrasmettere l edizione del 1997……….??????? GRAZIE!

    OMG how fabulous was that thank you so much for sharing this incredible performance, La Gioconda is a wonderful grand opera which requires a large scale production which La Scala has done with great soloists to give it full justice and it mostly does it. Still wonderful to see and hear this great work and it looks as though the full version was given here, and I would love to see this at Covent Garden especially with the fantastic soprano Saioa Hernandez who was phenomenal in the title role, she would be worth going to see this opera 👏👏👏

    I toured in 2022-23 the opera houses of Italy. And I saw this Gioconda at La Scala. I was very thrilled to see Italian opera with the Italian public, especially since Gioconda had its premiere in this theatre. Also, of course, the Garnier and Covent Garden. To be honest, overall, the Metropolitan puts on a much better show.

      The old San Francisco production of Gioconda with Pavarotti & Scotto was the best. Did you go to La Fenice? Which cities did you visit and what were the ticket prices compared to the U.S.? I plan to do a similar arts tour of Europe in near future.

      @@papagen00 I saw performances at La Scala, La Fenice, Arena di Verona, and San Carlo Naples. The tickets were included in the price of the tour, but they seemed to be equivalent to the prices in the other big theaters, the balconies anyway. The orchestra seats at the Met and other theaters are way more expensive. This coming Fall, I am going to the Verdi Festival in Parma. The only tour I could find is relatively expensive, but not crazy.

      @@papagen00 I used the same tour guide/company two years in a row. I thought it was a very good value because many things were included. The big savings came from staying in small hotels/pensiones in good locations. They were not 4 or 5 star resorts which I think are a waste of money. They focused on opera. I haven’t been to the Verdi Festival yet, so I can’t evaluate. It is more expensive because the hotel is grand, and it includes tours to the Verdi house and farm, and I think some cuisine tours.

    A mi me ha gustado mucho, espectacular Saioa. 1:48:36. Pero, la ambientación, vestuario escenografía lamentable. Por qué no la ambientaron en su época? (Venecia siglo XVII)Hubiera sido mejor. Siento decirlo, pero no entiendo, cómo el señor Shrott se considera cantante de ópera….es horrible. Muchas gracias ❤❤❤❤

    Anna Maria Chiuri non è un Contralto, questo è sicuro, ma ha cantato con molto buon gusto e intelligenza musicale la sua parte, che è molto bella e a torto sottovalutata. La messa in scena e i costumi: folli!

      La parte della Cieca non è sottovaluttata. L'unico personaggio con cui ha una vera relazione è sua figlia, e la sua funzione drammaturgica sta nell'essere uno dei due personaggi che, come espone benissimo il preludio, influiscono sulle sorti della Gioconda, essendo l'altro Barnaba. La sua funzione musicale sta nell'esporre il motivo del rosario. Certo, è un fulcro drammaturgico, ma come personaggio ha poco interesse.

      (1) You go to La Scala for the experience and if the show is good that's extra bonus. (2) La Scala is run by tone-deaf socialist bureaucrats.

    Excelente producción con cantantes notables o muy solventes. Sin embargo, tengo el derecho a preguntarme por qué los mafiosos de La Scala creen que todo el mundo habla y entiende el italiano (no es mi caso) sin tomarse la mínima molestia en subtitular a otros idiomas conocidos en todo el mundo, como el inglés, francés, español o alemán. UNA ABSOLUTA PREPOTENCIA.

    Saioa Hernández posee una notable y poderosa voz. Sin embargo, se ve perjudicada gravemente por el abuso de los agudos y una peligrosa tendencia a chillar, bramar, berrear, aullar, gorgotear, graznar, gritar sin freno, en suma, convertir a su personaje más en una demente sin remedio que a una mujer heeroica y sacrificada por sus relaciones y el amor.

    En todo caso, agradezco que los cretinos de La Scala recurran a buenos cantantes e intérpretes sin mayor renombre, como son, por ejemplo, los casos de Jonas Kaufmann, Angela Gheorghiou, Bryn Terfel, Anna Netrebko, Cecilia Bartoli o la legión de estaounidenses que pueblan los teatros de Dallas, Memphis, Seattle, Atlanta, Portland y oras ciudades cuya cultura se irradia al universo y cuyos patrocinadores son los estafadores mundiales de las empresas multincionales.

    Livermore da' il meglio di sè con Rossini, dove la sua fantasia più colorata trova la sua giusta collocazione. Nelle opere drammatiche se la cava decisamente peggio. Lo riprova questa messinscena: cupa, gelida, impersonale, respingente. Decisamente brutta. (E di Gioconda, cantante di strada girovaga, vestita di lamè dorato e con guanti velati stile "dark lady", vogliamo parlarne? Nulla, in confronto al vestaglione a righe, con tanto di cappellone "napoleonico" più velo, dentro cui l'hanno ficcata a 1.21.46. Stendiamo un velo pietoso)

    Тенор ужасен во всех смыслах. Я даже не хочу писать плохие слова в его адрес. Как певец он не заслуживает даже критики. Так испортить один из лучших мужских дуэтов🤦‍♀🤦‍♀🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ А баритон лишился верхних нот еще 100 лет назад. Ну нельзя же в один из самых пафосных театров мира приглашать таких плохих певцов😡
