    Hyperpigmentation is my worst nightmare that I’m living but your skin looks flawless

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  6 ปีที่แล้ว +72

      Coca Persuasion Thank you! ☺️ it took some patience for it to get this way. Hyperpigmentation is the worst I dealt with it for so long under my lip. I still have a little that has actually faded away/got lighter over time. It’s crazy because it’s a genetic thing dealing with how much melanin your body naturally produces but also it’s partly due to sun exposure!! I found that using a good sunscreen everyday before I went outside helped a lot! Have you tried that?

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  6 ปีที่แล้ว +91

      Omg!! Turmeric!!! How could I forget. I have turmeric tea every other day. It’ll help with the inflammation that causes the hyperpigmentation. I also do turmeric and honey face mask! Try it mama! It will help big time. FYI (if you have light skin) the turmeric might turn your skin yellow/orange for a few hours so it’s best to go the mask at night.

    • @FF-by6ci
      @FF-by6ci 6 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      Use differin or retina a for hyperpigmentation but make sure u use high spf like 50 in the day even in winter. Another thing use a hydrating moisturiser under the spf cos retina a dries skin . Black soap is not good for acne at all . For diet avoid sugar and carbs and eat lots of veg and drink 3 litres of water. Also sleep early and wake up early, excerpting and avoid stress. It’s a lot but you have to be all about the self.

    My acne makes me so sad ,it just seem like no matter what I do my dark spots won’t go away ☹️.One time I just laid in my mama arms and just cried nonstop because my hope for having clear skin is just diminishing. But I’m going to keep trying and pray 🙏🏽

    • @diamondsaint

      Awww there’s definitely so much hope! I felt the same way! My skin was messed up for so long. I wasn’t comfortable or confident looking people in the face or going out in public I stayed in the house for over a year. But routine has really helped me along with my diet I cut out a lot of stuff! Dairy, soda, a lot of grains. It took time!! Whatever you decide to try you have to have patience! It can also me a medical issue. Have you talked to a doctor?

      The Diamond Life Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate it .And yes you’re right ,it does take a lot of patience lol!! And no I haven’t talk to a doctor because I pretty much know the cause of my acne and it’s because of candy ,my digestion system like you said for yourself as well and just being stressed ! I've been using raw black soap for a month now and my new scars that usually take 3 months to disappear are now gone, my older scars are fading. I was honestly shocked how fast it worked, I also use aloe vera gel (straight from the plant) and sweet almond oil. I swear by those 3 things, I'm going to try the Clair sonic to see if I get fast results.

      I bought Raw African black soap about 2 or 3 days ago and I started using it cos I have oily skin and I want my dark spots to go away.... the spots are starting to fade and I’m thankful for that but I’m wondering...
      Is it normal for it to burn or sting..? Cos I use a loofah and wash my face for 3-5 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water, my face turns reddish and it still stings... I have some small cuts on my face now but nothing too bad yet.... then after I moisturize with some lotion and it still stings for a little bit but then it goes away.
      I just wanted to ask for any tips on using the soap now before it gets bad, so any advice would be great 🥰🥰

    I've learned the hard true that there is NO cure for acne.....you can ONLY maintain it. So, I did process of elimination until I figured out what triggers my acne and what doesn't. I've drastically cut down on dairy, gluten, and sugar to ALMOST never eating it. I've got a LOOOOOOOOONG way to go, but I'm glad I know what the culprits are. Now the long ASS healing process -_-

    Unfortunately, I know this struggle all too well!!! It’s trial, and error!! You have to keep at it until you find what works for you! But what has helped me a lot is cutting out dairy, and using the Aztec clay w/acv (has to have the mother). Be patient, and careful about what you feed your body, mind, and soul!!!

      @tynee2310 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ad JB I put about two tablespoons of the clay in a bowl, and then mix in the ACV until you get a paste (always use a plastic spoon/tool when handling the clay). I use it about once a week/sometimes twice. Put a thin even layer on. Leave it on until it hardens (15-20 min). I feel like it has helped a lot!

    ❤ thumbs up love! First & foremost u hit it right on the nail with a few major points in ur content. I too, healed my face from cystic hormonal acne for an entire year so far. While our methods are different (I swear by korean methods) I love that u mentioned super important outside aggressors that most people dont even realize. Digestion is HUGE, our diet habits are HUGE, sleep is HUGE to repair & heal, HOW we apply the products is HUGE (pressing in product vs rubbing), and also "layering" matters in my particular case. I'm 39 & therefore combating aging, as well as stress induced/hormonal acne. So light layers have helped a ton, vs putting a glob of one or 2 products. Anyhow, hats off mami. Great job on those important mentions❣👌

    Actually drying of skin is not a good idea, black soap dried it out, but you’ll end up with more acne and continuous cycle. Hydration is what acne skin needs , and a very simple face wash, cetaceans or cetaphil , differin or retina a to combat hyperpigmentation , hydrating moisturiser and lastly spf. Diet is what will make a huge difference.

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  6 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Jay J Thank you for your comment! It may or may not help someone below. Diet, hydration, and spf is def the key. African black soap’s active ingredients work in the same way any acne medication with *salicylic acid* would. Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid which exfoliates the skin to make it softer yet “drys out the skin” to kill bacteria. Whether you’re using African black soap or an acne prescribed facial wash with salicylic acid. It’s best to use it compare it with hydrating moisturizers as I did it this video. What worked for me may not work for others. Thank you much for watching :)

    Have u thought of using the serums 1st then the oils? Clearly this has worked for you but I’m just thinking the oils will seal in the serums.

    I think adding serums before oils will help serums penetrate better as oils can be acting like a barrier to moisture loss whereas serums are actives so they want clear pores to penetrate into and have it's maximum effects

    Wow! I’m so happy I found your video. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s when I was nine and it truly affects my skin. I get hives as soon as I don’t take my allergy medication, I have dermatitis, and of course acne 😩. Thank you for making this video

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brandi Blackman omg! I really appreciate this. Thank you so much for watching! 🥰 How have you been dealing? Are you now in remission? I’ve been in remission for about 2 years now. The medication I was on as well as not having the proper diet really messed with my skin. As of right now inflammation isn’t happening in my gut but I think something is coming out in my skin again. Not acne but dermatitis it seems to not want to go away, I’m trying everything and I hope to find a solution soon. My dermatologist prescribed a steroid cream that doesn’t seem to be working. What do you use for your dermatitis?

    • @BrandiBlackman

      The Diamond Life hey! I’ve been in remission for a few months, like since February. However, my skin and allergies have been reacting chronically. I take a daily allergy pill and it really helps. If I skip it for a few days or more, my skin goes insane body and acne. The topicals did not work for me at all, only suppressing the reaction for like an hour. Of course I use Dove sensitive body wash and wash my clothing using tide free and gentle. This works for me as a base to ensure that my skin is calm.

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brandi Blackman mmm I never thought to take an allergy pill. I’m going to try that. It’s mostly under my lip, it comes and goes. It’s so annoying I really need to find something that will let it go away forever. I’m thinking that it’s something in my diet that’s not sitting well with my gut so slowly I’m starting to cut things out to see if I notice a difference in it clearing up. Thank you so much for your advice I’m going to try the allergy meds!!!

      I have chrohn’s too, but I have fungal acne. I’m gonna try the soap soon. I’ve tried Nizoral, been on acne, the Aztec healing clay mask, and a lot of other cleansers, masks, and exfoliators, but nothing has cleared my skin all the way. My acne used to be very very very bad, and it covered my entire face..I was around 11. I had it early due to my crohn’s. But I’ve had a flare up recently, and I have been getting random tiny bumps all over my face. I’ve been drinking nothing but water consistently for about 2 months now..but it’s pretty much the same :(
      I’m hoping that the soap can be the product that clears my skin.🤷🏽‍♀️

      If it's okay please allow me to speak on this :)
      Romans 1:20-
      "For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God." NLT

      I mean this with my absolute whole entire being. if you ever need anything, please and I beg you, to reach out to someone and if you know someone struggling reach out to them. for me, I will drop everything. I will help you no matter how big or small of an issue it is, how well we know each other, or the time of day. it gets better. I know that sounds so cliché, but it’s true. you deserve to live. I will try to give you the love and support that every human being deserves to have. that's a right that you have. YOU MATTER AND ARE SO SPECIAL! the odds of you being here right now are 1 in 400 trillion; you're definitely here and reading this for a reason. and I can guarantee you that I or anyone else won't have all the answers. but sometimes it is just good knowing you have someone by your side. it's going to be rough. it's important to know that emotions are okay; it's means you're human. it's okay to wonder "why." if someone comes to you with an issue please don’t brush it off like it’s nothing, because it’s something to that person. please don’t ever feel like it’s your fault. yes, we all could of done something but we had no idea. you can’t blame yourself for something you didn’t know or even if you did know. it’s sad to think that a person had so much negative influence in a person’s life that makes them feel like they don’t belong or aren’t worthy enough to be loved... that they need to die, but the truth these are lies and that we’re all broken and need love. I encourage you to live in the moment. enjoy it and make the most of it. but I also encourage you to think about how your choices will impact your future, others, yourself, and God. I'm gonna buy the african black soap and then buy shea butter and mix it with jojoba oil to use as a moisturizer and I'll do an update when it gets here and throughout trying it.
    Currently I use a Charcoal soap bar for my face from the brand Asepxia, The biore charcoal acne cleanser and the neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer(I don't have sensitive skin but usually those have no fragrance and just seem better) and I do sheet masks once a week, my face isnt the worst but I do get pimples on my cheeks, chin, and forehead, and I get marks after the pimple leaves and they don't go away(I don't pick at them or touch my face)
    I'm Buying the jojoba oil, raw yellow shea butter and african black soap from different etsy vendors.

I’m wondering if the rose quartz rollers are real though, as that gem is a lot more common and very cheap

      The Jade roller I’m using in this video is made from Xiuyan Jade, It is real Jade. I linked the website I purchased it from I also linked a Jade roller similar on Amazon but I’m not sure of the quality... all Jade/Crystals are no cut equal or from the same location just like Diamond’s Ruby’s or any other stone. So you’re right, Some Jade might be more expensive than others and there also may be some fakes out there. The Jade I’m using in this video is real. They also have rose quartz too.

    Use a Paper Towel instead running through all those Rags , I learned that from another Beauty Hack Video

      Ms.LyricToYou 👀 Paper towels expensive, we run through paper towels like water! 😩 I rather use a rag + paper towels wouldn’t hold heat and steam long enough for my liking. Good hack though! 😆

      I turn my black soap into a liquid and pour it over baby wipes. I then use the baby wipes to wash and dry my face. I just rinse the wipe to remove all product, wring it out, pat my face dry and dispose of the wipe.

      Yesssss! Sunscreen is a must! Especially for hyperpigmentation. Right now I’m using the Aloe soothing sun cream by CosRX. I need to make an updated video on them because I have one on my channel on drug store sunscreens that have no white cast but I’ve found ones that is better for our skin.
