DAYTONA 200 2023 NEWS! And here we go... 51 entries from 16 countries riding motorcycles from six different manufacturers are set to square off in the 81st running of the Daytona 200 at Daytona International Speedway. Here's the entry list. bit.ly/3XYCFQ5
well, im a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and racer. I didn't think it was that fun to watch. Endurance racing hasn't been interesting for 30 years... the drafting bullshit just kills any "racing" excitement. It's just a crapshoot who will be there at the end. 400 passes is fine for crappy motorsports like nascar.... I don't want to see 400 artificial passes. I want to watch the cream rise.... I don't think you know what good entertainment is. I just watched what many are saying was the best race in motocross history. guess how many passes for the lead? zero....thats how many. One guy chased around another guy for the entire moto and the whole industry were on the edge of their seats. on the production side, everything is ok, but the announcers aren't quite qualified. Neither of them even know the current rule set.

WOOW, WOW, WOW! I’ve watched Daytona since the early 80s and I think these last 25 laps are one of the best finishes I’ve seen. Paasch played that brilliantly!
What a treasure to find on TH-cam. Definitely the best recommendation this year. Very hard to find Moto America races in Europe. The race was just perfect. Paasch raced like Harada did in the good old days. Showing his hand at the very end.
Seen my first Daytona 200 in 1980 I still have the patch from the book sold at the race , all I can say is Thanks Dad for all the motorcycle life we live Dad's 84 I will be 59 and these memories will be with me forevermore

Thank you MotoAmerica and Mr. Rainey for rescuing the Daytona 200. Of all the years I've been in attendance at the DMS, this was one of the best races yet. As good as the old days with guys like Russell, Duhamel, Hacking and the Hayden and Bos bros on track. Then to get to come home and catch the coverage on TH-cam afterwards is absolutely fantastic. Thank you again.
Daytona is unique ..one of the only tracks that ya dont want to lead the last lap... If I could win only 1 race I'd want it to be this one... Well done B.P. Congrats
Awesome race, great win for Triumph and Paasch. Thanks to MotoAmerica bringing this legendary event to us English fans and well done to the Truelove brothers, brilliant effort lads.
Just watched the 200 on TH-cam! Wow! Thank you! The commentary was even great! A welcome addition to MotoGP! I hope the Rest of the MotoAmerica season is this good! Mark from Ozark, MO!
Thank you for uploading it for race fans around the world to watch✊🤘. Such a shame though there's no crowd for such a great race, Moto America should really promote it to it's old glory (even though these are not the full "Superbikes").
Met Herring at NJMP at a Ducati event and got him to sign my track bike. Painted it white and got everyone at the track to sign it including him and a few other top riders. 100% keeping those fairings forever.
Una carrera espectacular y con una llegada mejor aún. Primera vez que veo este campeonato y disfrutarlo hasta el final. Abrazos dese Rancagua, Chile. Gracias MotoAmerica.
I am really glad someone put this race on TH-cam because, I programmed my DVR to record the race, and it ran out of time, I did not get to see the last three laps..
Me & my brother went to Daytona from Illinois I think it was back around the early 80's and we got tickets to see the 200 and sat in the chicane.......It's was an absolutely fantastic race will never forget it.

I was there in 1977 on a tour from Australia, the first year it was done in two stages (rain) with Steve Baker winning. AH! those were the days, where you could walk through the pits and watch the mechanics working away, wish the riders good luck also.
Great to see American bikes race from my home in the UK. If MotoAmerica can be shown on TH-cam surely WSBK, BSB and MotoGP could be put on here instead of on different subscription channels. I've just watched an ASBK race before this so easier to watch from the old colonies than it is to watch from here. Anyway well done for having a TH-cam channel. 👍
the difference is that WSBK, BSB & motogp would prefer to, ya know, be profitable? also, the MA season is on TV and SBK class races aren't uploaded on here til after the season ends. anything below that level is on here anyway

Bless MotoAmerica for coming in and airing their series races on network television an TH-cam week in week out or we would literally have nothing! I wont subscribe to sports channels as I only like motorsports so waste of money. All bike racing is on different subscription channels also!
Used to go down to see the 200 at "Yahama Beach" in the '70s, before the chicane, when that wasn't just the race length, but also the speeds. The days of manufacturers' one-off bikes made of unobtainium, built just to win Daytona. It was the age of the motorcycle in America. The first time the field came down the front stretch was electrifying. Saw King Kenny finally win it. The crazy TZ-750. Honda leading with 4-strokes that broke - put them in the trailer before anyone could look. The way they ran, you figured, "next year". Fast Freddy. What a history. Congratulations "200" on the 2022 edition.
Reminds me of the early 2000’s when you had Ducati’s vs the Big 4, history repeating itself for sure🔥 Edit: wtf a Yamaha R6 RJ11?!?! Vs 2020+‘s hell yea👌🏾

Hey Curtis , have to remember that when we raced superbikes they were 750cc bikes vs the big 1000cc's of the Ducs!!. That said they were near the 240hp of today's Superbikes. As much as I would love to see real superbikes of today running the 200 I think motoAmerica calls it well with the 600s of today. They make close to what our 750cc made back in the 90s. Plus a 2020s superbikes would more than likely push the speed and injury factor into the unacceptable range for 200 laps on a banked circuit. Thx MotoA for another great year and 200 race. Well done!!!!. I still feel really bad for Josh Heroin though, what bad break.
@@casperi2 Agreed, superbikes have long outgrown high banks of Daytona, or at least modern racing tires' ability to hold up under them. I fondly remember the days when the top teams ran the 200, and appreciate today's race for what it is, as well!
