I like how this is a good example that even darn near perfectly trained birds like yours will make mistakes, and sometimes not come back right a way. Gotta stay on our toes people. I also love the little whose sound their wings make. definitely not silent flyers like owls.
I used to have a senegal. This is really cool. You should be thankful to have flight in your life. Although I no longer find it ethical to keep birds. Best of luck my friend.
You birds are amazing at recall. I'm struggling to get my galah, Rosie, to recall. She has a bad leg that had been broken and never set so she cannot jump. She was also abused and neglected, and had some learned helplessness when I got her(as well as being extremely unhealthy). She only flies to me from a object if something accidentally startles her on accident, or my nephew walks up to her.
When you do that again you should do a glide one. Where you have them fly and then a long distance glide downwards to you or the perches. Just an idea but good video and that looks helpful and great info
Hey @kiliparrot I have two budgies and tamed them in a week. I clean their cage every two days and they fly to me on command and stay on me and MIGHT leave if they want.
what would you give a cockatiel as a treat im looking at training my 2 to free flight i have had them a few months now so still learning but hope in the future months they will be as clever as yours
Did they just let yiu in or you just walkied in is the school closes are other people their in the school whats the treat you giving them so many quistion plz answer my quistions
I've been thinking of starting a free flight group here where I live. How did you get permission to use the gym? I'd like to find somewhere safe here to free flight.
Hi Michael, do you have an idea to start with my Grey Paco recall training? Because she is unsure with flying, and only fly short distancewith big landing places. She steps on my hand, but she dont want to fly on it at all....not a simple jump of 20cm is possible.... Training her to wear the aviator was much easier ;-) Greetings from Germany! Steffen
My mom had a bird that killed itself by flying into a window. I'd never let my cockatiel grow out its wings for that reason. I would love to see my cockatiel fly but I'd be sad if he got killed.

what is the name of this parrots how do you train this and where did you buy this PLEASE GIVE ME REPLY
Naif Nizam little one is named Kili (and is a senegal parrot.) bigger one is named Truman (and is a cape parrot.)
What type of birds do you have?
Random _fatguy Kili is a senegal, Truman is a cape.
Such amazing birds :)
Quite fascinating. 😂🤣😅
Meanwhile I struggle to recall my bird from her perch 6 feet away
sometimes they’re boomerangs, sometimes they’re homing missiles
:)
Are they both female trainer
Truman the cape parrot, larger bird, is male and Kili the senegal, smaller parrot with yellow, is female.
boomerang!
How much bird poop did they have to mop up after?
I own a cockatiel and I'm 9 he has like so many tricks like here's one ACTING LIKE A SEAGULL! XD
Aww your like 15 now, do still have your bird?
“Cheater...” xD
I could never do this I would be afraid my bird would go to the rafters.
wow really good!!
Wow

So you'd rather your bird miss out on the fun being a bird? That's awful, birds have wings for a reason cover the window or something but really?
+Laurel Cook Don't give him the opportunity to fly out a window. Recall training can be a help if he where to get out.
+Lexi Kent I have sky lights that have killed outside birds too. My bird can fly downward.
It freaks me out when you throw them
I can do that with my cockatiel. Outdoor =D. With no click method.
Do you fry them up with corn meal or flour?
