That's what I thought too when I saw that in theaters I'm looking at this and I'm thinking in my head is illumination really trying to mimic that iconic train stopping seen in Spider-Man 2
I Personally Understand. As Someone Who Didn't Like Despicable Me 2 Or Despicable Me 3. I Feel Like Despicable Me 4 Had It's Moments, I Loved It Better Than 2 & 3. Not To Say 2 & 3 Are Awful. It's Just I'm A Dr. Nefario Fan And Wanted Him To Have Some Screen Time. I Feel Like Him Being A Cameo Is Just Sad. I Mean I Get He's The Mad Scientist In The First Movie. But Skip Him In The Sequels Except 4 Just Doesn't Make Sense At All. Even If He Could've Been In All The Minions Scenes Or Something. Other Than That Despicable Me 4 Is Fine. Inside Out 2 Just Beat It By A Huge Laugh In My Opinion.
Minions 3 got announced for June 2027. I can’t say I’m surprised about this. I really enjoyed rise of gru so I hope it’s on the same level but I don’t want to get my hopes up too much at all.
I really share opinions in movies with you so much, it’s incredible. Among my few exceptions are Turbo and The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh. But if you don’t like this movie, I probably won’t. But my favorite Disney film is also The Lion King.
Even though I was excited for this movie, I was also very sceptical after how disappointing the third movie was. And yeah, this movie was unfortunately a disappointment. I didn’t hate it, but I’d probably call it the weakest Despicable Me movie. The pacing was way too breakneck. Lucy and the girls barely have anything to do. Gru’s plot with Gru Jr isn’t as compelling as I wanted it to be. Poppy was mostly very rude and annoying. And while Will Ferrell does a magnificent job with the voice acting, Maxime Le Mal was a very underwhelming villian. I enjoyed his screen time, but he barely had any. And his final battle with Gru was really lame. I’d probably give it a 6/10. It’s okay, but still a very weak conclusion to the franchise. 😕
I enjoyed this movie, but I feel like the movie should have been longer to see more character development. In my opinion, i wanted to see more superhero minions. Personally, I'm not a big fan of two different plots happening at the same time because it seems the ending of the movie is too short
I do really enjoy the other Despicable Me franchise and even though the 4th one was still good enough it was without a doubt the weakest one. I enjoy these characters and the mega minions were fun. But the villain and his motivations was overdone and plain. The middle is just a lack of a connective story, its just minor subplots and even the climax only lasts like a few minutes?
To me, this is easily the weakest film of the franchise. There was no heart, charm, or any suspense as the previous installments. Instead, it decided to do nothing original and Illumination is better off closing the book on here!!! Such a shame really
Bro, seriously? C’mon man just because people are saying it’s bad, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go see it. How do you know it’s bad when you haven’t even seen it?
Hey Brian you should do a movie review for Marvels studios Deadpool and Wolverine that comes out next Friday but for Despicable Me 4 was kinda good but the story wasn’t my cup of tea but I did love mega minions I give it a 3/10 on my movie list
I’ve been begging you to do Despicable Me impressions, but considering how indifferent you are towards the franchise, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. So I’ll stop pestering you about it. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
@@n19ntendods I mean, he did do an impression of the minions during the Villian Sidekicks singing This Is Halloween, so that was already checked out...kinda.
Man, I'm sorry to hear that, brian. 😔 It's the complete opposite for me. I really love this franchise, and after seeing the 4th one in theaters, I gotta say, I had a blast with it! The minions now being in cahoots with AVL was PERFECT! And poppy (the girl who forces gru to steal something for her) just became my new favorite character, and I hope they use her more often in the future if they make a despicable me 5. I know a lot of people are tired of this franchise, but I'm not. I love this franchise, and I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of it.
Somebody in charge even said they never plan to age the characters, which would have made the movie way more impactful.
😠
I like that The Stretchy Minion did a Spider-Man 2 Reference (but fail because he pretty much a Elastic band)
I caught that reference too and also I love that the mega minions are being a parody of the avengers

I'm a fan of Despicable Me/ Minions but I found this movie to be underwhelming. It's not as fun when Gru isn't a villain

I can respect your opinion Brian and I am a fan of this franchise but totally understand why you are not a fan
Completely agree with you Brian, these movies are getting kinda old lol. Love your reviews and everything else you put up!
Says the guy with a gru profile pic. Lol.
I can’t believe you’re reviewing this movie! Even though you put despicable me in top 5 things I don’t like that everyone else does.

Whoa!! I’m not interested in the minions since they’re not speaking correctly!! I don’t watch Despicable Me anymore.
Brian, you should do a review on Inside Out 2! We went to see it, and it was better than the first one! 🥰💖
I can't tell if this was despicable or was it just me?...
I saw this movie yesterday and enjoyed it

I agree. I was really hoping it would be an improvement over the third movie.
Nah, the first two had standards
Happy tuesday, Brian, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
I at least enjoyed the first two Despicable Me and Minions of those franchise. The 3rd, eh..
Hey Brian have you seen monsters at work season 2?
I love what you do
I love Despicable Me 4 because it is so funny
I heard it's terrible so I didn't even bother!
Bro, seriously? C’mon man just because people are saying it’s bad, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go see it. How do you know it’s bad when you haven’t even seen it?
@@Nostalgic80s-nd3qb I wasn't that excited anyway, so it just contributed!
Ok. Tbf, it is a Despicable Me film so I understand why it wouldn’t be anything special.
Gloria from modern family as a villain makes me feel so warm inside
Valentina barely did much in the film, she's basically Scarlet Overkill 2.0
@@danielgudinojuarez6729 i was just surprised she was a villain for once
Glad you liked it enough.
No spoilers please I haven’t seen it yet 😏

Despicable Me 4 Looks Good But A Little Unnecessary But Still Good And Also I Will Still Give It A Watch 👍👍👍👍
Brian, I thought you were my friend
