4:42の面旗が上がってもおかしくはないですね。打突の機会としては、僅かに居ついたところ（迷ったところ）なのでしょうか、竹刀で防御していますが面に当たってもいます。もし打たれたあと棒立ちだったら一本でしょうし、姿勢が大きく崩れても一本でしょうが、姿勢を崩さず足で素早く捌いたのは高鍋選手の気が切れていないからで、ぎりぎり一本にならなかったのでは。惜しい打突のあとは逆に一本取られやすいのですが、その後の突きに対しても気を切らさず惜しい返し面をだしており、橋本選手の気の満ち様は素晴らしかったですね。
