What a great game ! Very thematic too with all of the mutants taking on the might of the sentinels and Exodus. The Magneto pre-con looks very strong and very versatile. Fingers crossed it's released here in the UK later this week. Great video as always W-WF 🤗

@@webwarriorfanatic hay I've been looking for a ruling on Maximum effort & Forcefield Generator ...I can't find anything so far. As it's written it looks like forcefield generator would add up to 6 damage when used with maximum effort. Ive been looking through hall of Heroes but haven't found anything yet

@@webwarriorfanatic imagine deadpool leaping onto his opponent with a forcefield generator engaged and strapped to his back with such force that the barrier breaks after dealing blunt force trauma to the enemy and breaking down only for Deadpool to continue through the failed and flickering forcefield to continue increasing the damage dealt to the enemy by this unconventional attack with his own body.
What an appropriate ending of crushing the sentinels together into a scrap pile! Magneto is very fun to watch. 😮 Was awesome seeing the cape come out turn one! Face the Past will definitely become a staple card for me with a lot of my builds. Even though it didnt pop up in this game it looks awesome! I'll be proxying it for now. (In particular it'll be great in my Shulk and Wasp decks I think) Always great to hear your decision making narrated and looking forward to the first deck you build for the MASTER OF MAGNETISM!

I can’t believe i miscalculated the potential of losing the card i was digging for to Operation Zero Tolerance. If it wasn’t for that, Face the Past would have won me the game in style 🤩 and i agree that card is very versatile and unique

Idk. I went and reread the Boom Boom card and the wording is kinda tricky. It says, ”At the end of the player phase, remove all bomb counters from play and deal 2 damage to each enemy for each bomb counter removed from it this way.” I think it means that only enemies that had bomb counters removed from them would take damage and those that did not have bomb counters removed wouldn’t.
@@serenitypro87 i just reread it too and i just don’t know lol. Definitely could go either way. I think I’m leaning that it only hits that enemy just because the other way seems too powerful? But I’ve been wrong and shocked before about certain rulings
GG! Can't wait to play Magneto myself! Just a small correction, the Bubble still retaliates even if discarded since retaliate happens first, so the Villain should have died earlier :)

Hahaha i totally agree. Some people have told me they’re not the biggest fan of such a strong-looking mainstream hero and they’re more excited for the new leadership cards. It’s preferences at the end of the day and their opinions are totally valid even if i disagree 😁
@webwarriorfanatic I'll never understand the argument of a hero being too strong. This game allows you so many ways to personaly tailor your difficulty level! I've been making my way through some of the weekly one shots and they are just absolutely brutal to the point where you need to bring all the OP heroes out. On the other hand though, I totally understand certain heroes not clicking with your playstyle. I personally don't enjoy any ally swarm decks.

@webwarriorfanatic Yes, it's terrible XD In heroic mode you have to start with three cards under zero tolerance. When I play it in expert mode I don't put cards of my deck (I hate that the game spoils my deck for free at the beginning, ), but I start with two counters in zero tolerance. It's harder because you can only let go the plane one time. I think that this scenario have a bad design cuz you can't recover cards, and it's a pity because the thematic of it is very cool.

XD And It's not fair...imagine starting the scenario without Thor's hammer, Ironman reactor or Captain's shield only because of bad luck and bad design.
Basically it stays in play and for each card that Magneto discards with his hero ability “Magnetic Pull” he has to take 1 damage. As an alter-ego action, the player can exhaust Erik Lehnsherr to discard the obligation

I've been playtesting a proxy of it in a Storm deck. It is a blast combined with Thunderstorm weather, in solo is so easy to just obliterate villain. Even better if you can combine it with Command Team and Rapid Response, so it will enter play 2 times in the same round.
Loved the throw in the end! Looking forward to more Magneto plays.
