When a gunner runs out of ammo, don't send another gunner to get it. Send the same gunner with no ammo to get extra since he can't do anything else anyways.
Baron, be sure to make it so that the back turret always has the ammo feed, and everything should be smooth sailing from there. Until jets maybe... But at your point in the game they come at high-altitude only.
When you first take off, have all the gunners go pickup ammo. You will have an extra belt of ammunition for gunners to let you fire longer. If you do it right at the beginning you don't have to worry about fighters.

I think the only thing that really went wrong with the Chariot mission was your engineer never using Boost to get to the artillery fast enough to take them out before they could take down the ship! For medium+ duration missions without fuel upgrades, you can also keep the Engineer applying Lean fuel mixture to cut fuel use in half every time it comes off cooldown, which is needed to offset the boost usage for an early Chariot probably. Oh, engine fires are also put out from the Engineer's seat if you want to use the engine fire extinguisher upgrade for that you bought instead of a dive to put them out! Upgrade wise, it looks like you only needed some armor for your important parts, like mid-rear and tail to keep your gunners alive and healthy! Also might want to swap out the engineer's gear for run speed to be more favored since they move around so much. Between running back to their console to reactivate Lean fuel and kick-in the auto-extinguishers, the repairs everywhere, possibly manning the under turret, etc, they need speed :)
BARON did you not know about operation chariot. one of the craziest missions of the war and also effectively destroyed the one base the nazis could use in france to fix ships like the bismarck or tirpitz.

See,when you at low altitude,your ventral turret is not shooting those planes but if you go to high altitude,it will be easier to shoot those planes and some planes can't go to high altitude...anyway keep streaming the game!love you baron...
You need to use your radio man more, call in spitfires and he allows for auto targeting for a little while. Also, for those long missions the engineer can make the fuel last longer by setting it to lean. Finally, the Todt battery allows for enemy fire to be suppressed for two missions.
Honestly baron should have the gunners themselves reload their own guns. After all, they can’t shoot when it is empty anyway, and they automatically return to their own gun with only telling them to get ammo. It all comes down to micro management, but it is very good that no one has died. I personally think that getting any survival gear is very low priority and should take a back seat to defensive vests. After all, getting survival stuff is assuming you fail and to r guys living is like low even when prepared.
That is one daring commander to use bomber to escort the ship since squadron of fighter planes could help more than a bomber. I guess the commander don't have the resource to spend some fighter planes for escort mission... -_-
Baron I like your plane so much :D seems you got a powerful on tunnels gun fire seems so...and Baron I need you to upgrade your Tunnels and the armour more powerful but don't upgrade to like use gold so you need upgrade only use coins to upgrade ok? Older versions allowed the player to emergency dive at low altitude, though this would always result in smacking into the ground. Apparently it was necessary to disable that command at low altitude because players kept pressing it.

I suggest playing a few missions to level up the radio operator and get spitfire support.. It really helps.

Baron, to use the engine extinguishers, move someone to the fuel station, click on the fire icon that should be glowing, and you can take them out.

baron, you've installed engine extinguishers which means that you can extinguish engines from the seat of the engineer
