When your Engineer or other crew Activate the lean/boost or extinguish fires abilities from the engineer position, you can move them back to their position and the ability will still work. Like this so Baron Can see!
Also, some tips for you.... 1. The nose gunner/ Bombadier is pretty worthless after the first pass, unless you conduct a U Turn in enemy territory. Have him stay in the Nose Gun Turret for the first pass, then shift him to the Ventral Turret, where there are more planes incoming. That way, you can have your Engineer man his station, run health, repairs, bombing, and ammo as needed, and IF in the unlikely case your Nose Turret needs manned, he's already there, since his station is a VERY short walk to the Nose Turret. 2. One guy here commented about fuel consumption being less at higher altitudes on long missions, even with the decreased visibility. I would check out his comment. 3. Have each person's name be a pun related to their job/position, that way you can find them much quicker on the side bar. Or change their flights suits color to be in reference to their position or placement, like Red for gunner, Yellow for Engineers, etc... 4. For each secondary job, have each of the Gunners be a Medic, so they can heal each other, since the Tail, Dorsal, and Ventral Turrets are in such close proximity. They also take the most damage in all 5 episodes. The main Bombadier can learn Gunner, since he's most effective in the Ventral Turret. That'll free up your Engineer to learn how to be a Bombadier, so that way he can assist the Nose Turret. Makes sense, since you want your most experienced Gunners where they'll be most effective, and the Nose Turret does not see as much action. And for the missions where you need to bomb, well, just shift the Engineer around as needed. You already do that, might as well keep Richie localized to a small efficient location. Have your Navigator learn Repair. He/She sits almost directly across from the Engineers station. That way, you can just move that person to that station in the event of a fire. Have the Radio Operator learn the Navigators job, that way he/she can assist with that station as needed, if you need 2 repairs conducted simultaneously. 5. Put 3 Med Kits in the tail, since there are three people there. Your extinguishers have limited uses, so put 2 with a medkit in the middle rear. And add parachute for the remaining 6 slots. That way, should you come to the point you're going to crash, they will survive by going Airborne, and you can use them in the next plane. One will die, possibly, but you can swap out the 4th Medkit for another chute. 6. I did leave a name suggestion about "Richie's Revenge", or "Rich Rolled". Thank you for all you do. I enjoy your military comments, as I currently serve as an 82ND Paratrooper. Help me out, everyone, and upvote these tips to the top so BaronVonGames will see them.
But the bomber in the game looks more like an Arvo Lancaster bomber, and its more historically probable that it is a Lancaster Btw: I’m not saying the name is bad
"Ain’t Miss Behaven" While the crew of this plane was still in training, the pilot, Oliver E. Wright, was married in Dalhart, Texas, just before going to England. He chose this name for their plane because of his newly married status. This name comes from the popular jazz classic “Ain’t Misbehavin’” (Savin’ My Love For You) and There were three planes with this name in the 452nd Bomb Group: Ain’t Miss Behaven , Ain’t Miss Behaven ll , Ain’t Miss Behaven lll
Baron, you can store extra ammo in different parts of the plane by having your crew members pick up ammo and then return to their stations. For example, have your mechanic pick up ammo and then go back to his seat. He will drop the ammo next to his seat so your bombardier won't have to go all the way back to get more ammo. You can have 5 ammo refills sitting out at any one time.
Just saying baron, just like real life you spend less fuel in medium/high altitude and less flak can hit you, but you begin running into clouds and visibility issues., so on long missions try to spend more time higher up, so you take less damage from flak and you get better fuel efficiency. Once you get to your target get to low altitude though.
If you take a photo of the intel targets and then bomb them with your spare bombs then you will get much more xp for your crew. Its really helpful for the later grinds.
Most of your crew are able to operate at medium altitude at this level such as your navigator and bomber/picture taker. Upgrade their gear with high level O2 bottles + warn clothing so you can stay at medium altitude for a long time, avoiding flak.
Love your vid, Baron :)) Don't forget to have your crew trained on their secondary skills like gunner or mechanic and medic when they reach the appropriate level to unlock. :)) I would suggest having the Mechanic as the 2nd gunner, train the navigator to become a 2nd medic or maybe a secondary pilot in case the main pilot is wounded, have the tail gunner to become a next mechanic in case the electrical fuse box at the back got damaged. If you happened to run out of the medkit on the plane, have the crew who have the medic skill to heal up his fallen comrade. Just a few tips I learned from loosing 21 crews and 3 planes :)) Keep up with the series and the Ravenfield series as well :))
Give the bomber a toasty name such as the "Toasty Fritz" again, but if you want to keep the flying fortress idea, call it the "Flying Toaster" or the "Toasty Fortress."
Baron, what about this : During fight make your bombardier use the ventral turret, because he is slow, and use your mechanic on the nose guns, because he is fast and can go back to the ammo box quickly...
Baron, send the gunners (or better yet, the bomber - because he isn't doing anything) to pick up ammo, then have them try to place the ammo on the med slots. They will drop the ammo on the floor and on reload, the gunners will only have to walk to the bottom of their turret to pick up the ammo sitting on the floor. You can "pre-position" 5 ammo packs on the floor like this. If you do a 6th ammo pack, the 1st ammo pack you placed, will disappear.
Baron, do what I call the war trauma challenge. Basically from this point on(usually from the beginning)if all but one of your crew dies, send the last man or woman standing home due to war trauma
Baron. Try launching your bombs sooner. You should launch as soon as the cross hairs touch the target...not half way over. If you watch for the bombs to land, they have been landing on the edge of the targets. Plus. Launching them sooner gives those larger drops the ability to let more bombs hit.
before you take off have all crew members grab an ammo can, when the pilot, radar guy, navigator and engineer sit down at their stations they drop the ammo in the front so they are closer to the front turret
Yo Baron you can stack some ammo in the front by sending radio, nav and engie guy to get it before you take off. They drop the belt when they sit on their station.
Personally, I'd avoid upgrading to the Lightweight Fusilage. Sure, the decreased weight improves what you can carry, but the decreased armour values become a hindrance when concentrated Flak and Planes are trying to shoot you out of the sky.
Ik it’s been like five years but baron you where the first TH-camr I ever watched and you where the one that got me into gaming and I just wanted to thank you so much for that. 😃
Since you're going to be doing a mission on the bouncing bomb you might as well call the plane the damn Buster. That was the actual term used by an a lead RAF Squadron during the war they usually went on the more nearly suicidal missions. I believe they're actual designation was the 607. But they were known as the Dam Busters. So you should call the plane the damn Buster or dambuster. But actually I think you shouldn't have it be a play on words and instead of being dambuster like with a hydroelectric power plant I think you should call it "Damn Buster"
Baron you can have a crew member get ammo and bring it into to cockpit area and drop it and stack it up so the front gunner only leaves his gun and grabs one that you left in the cockpit
Well BECAUSE this update is about Halloween you can call your plane the (BLOODY REAPER OR DOOMN CREW) lol btw bomb the base were you take a picture lets see what can happen imagine if you get more exp or more $
Hey baron. That was not a bf110 That was a ju88. Hey baron if you do a second campaign of this in the future you should use the lightweight engines and fuselages, see if the bomber goes really fast and you can outrun enemy fighters.
Make the medic stay next the medic bad next to the back gunner and top gunner because those gunners take more damage and you can heal them before the time runs out!
It's named the nickname given to what it's based off of. The B-17 "Flying Fortress" and do a sub series all about the historical B-17 Memphis Belle yet to be seen by me but is under repairs and all that and will back on display soon in Dayton Ohio celebrating the anniversary of it's 25th mission sometime in 2018
Name it the red baron, put the red livery on it and then make some Iron cross custom decals. Perfect camoflauge
Ha
Hahaha
@@Licas13882 well still it was on germany's side so they think it just the name of the plane so actually shes not wrong

Name it "Classified" (it was a real plane) it was a B-29 Superfortress
Perfect
Go1den 14 yes

But the bomber in the game looks more like an Arvo Lancaster bomber, and its more historically probable that it is a Lancaster
Btw: I’m not saying the name is bad
Awesome

lol I can't believe Ritchie is still alive, been here since the beginning
Ya
RIP 1st crew

Call it the flying noodle
Italians will drive
Good name
i love that name
I love the name
Tactic:
On long missions fly at high alt when your navigator can learn the stars and put your best gunner in the bottom turret
If you take a photo of the intel targets and then bomb them with your spare bombs then you will get much more xp for your crew. Its really helpful for the later grinds.
Good job, Baron! Looks like you manage to complete that level with flying colour. XD
please more bomber crew, ive rewatched them all twice
Most of your crew are able to operate at medium altitude at this level such as your navigator and bomber/picture taker. Upgrade their gear with high level O2 bottles + warn clothing so you can stay at medium altitude for a long time, avoiding flak.
I love how i could see the shot which destroyed the v2 rocket it was soo smooth
It wus so funny
I wus cracking up

"The Failing Pumpkin" i would love to see that on the plane. XD
Baron, maybe after bombing targets move your bomber to the bottom turret so he isn't sitting there doing nothing
That one plane chillin' was probably a reconnaissance plane
Yea probably
Baron, what about this : During fight make your bombardier use the ventral turret, because he is slow, and use your mechanic on the nose guns, because he is fast and can go back to the ammo box quickly...
This series gets better and better!!!!
Enemies: "Wait what is going on? The plane's called Flying Fortress but it's British. Now I'm just confused."
Lol nice
Call the plane flying superfortres or superfortres and upgrade your ventral terent because those BF-1 10 your bomber might go down by one
Baron, send the gunners (or better yet, the bomber - because he isn't doing anything) to pick up ammo, then have them try to place the ammo on the med slots. Name it Toastcruncher next episode
Baron, do what I call the war trauma challenge. Basically from this point on(usually from the beginning)if all but one of your crew dies, send the last man or woman standing home due to war trauma
Name the Bomber as "Jerry's Medicine".
And it would be cool if we could manage a tank too.
Love how the plane was called the "Flying Fortress" but that is name name given too the American B-17 bomber not a British bomber
BARON! obviusly it should be called the betty bouncer on the next mission. Also the okah missile is no guided its kamakazie
Baron, remember your pilot has the evade flak ability!!!
Tip: always upgrade the belly turret reason: it’s a weak spot and planes target the area
Name your bomber either the flying Phantom with a dark colour scheme or the flaming phoniex with a firey colour scheme
also baron try using the corkscrew more often to avoid damage as well as drop bombs in mid range
Baron. Try launching your bombs sooner. You should launch as soon as the cross hairs touch the target...not half way over. If you watch for the bombs to land, they have been landing on the edge of the targets. Plus. Launching them sooner gives those larger drops the ability to let more bombs hit.
I love how I’m seeing a bunch of war nerds that are like me
I'm a war nerd
What'd be cool is a coop. 2 bombers flying near each other
before you take off have all crew members grab an ammo can, when the pilot, radar guy, navigator and engineer sit down at their stations they drop the ammo in the front so they are closer to the front turret
Operations where you have to stop missiles etc, DONT USE LEAN. Use boost so you can get to the objective in time.
YAAAA
YAAAA
YAAAA
Put ammo feed guns on the back, you know the rear Gunner is to far and just armor up to last longer in fire.
I would like to name it the Red Baron
Love this video and you should name it The Haunted Baron!!
Baron make sure everyone is experienced with the turrets
You should call it The Gulag Express
Comrade Noel were british not ducking soviet xD
Yo Baron you can stack some ammo in the front by sending radio, nav and engie guy to get it before you take off. They drop the belt when they sit on their station.
“Fudge Outta Fritz!”
Personally, I'd avoid upgrading to the Lightweight Fusilage. Sure, the decreased weight improves what you can carry, but the decreased armour values become a hindrance when concentrated Flak and Planes are trying to shoot you out of the sky.

Cold cyan that's actually a good idea
You should keep all your engines the same thing so you dont have to worry about weight.
Name the plane "The Jerry Toaster" or "The Toaster depending on the a e s t h e t i c s
I meant to leave quotation marks on "The Toaster". Sorry for any misunderstandings
Press the three dots on the side of the comment. You can edit the comment and add the quotation marks.
Ritchie’s still alive!!! Name your plane the Ritchie Boat
Should've been "Batwing"
Since you're going to be doing a mission on the bouncing bomb you might as well call the plane the damn Buster. That was the actual term used by an a lead RAF Squadron during the war they usually went on the more nearly suicidal missions. I believe they're actual designation was the 607. But actually I think you shouldn't have it be a play on words and instead of being dambuster like with a hydroelectric power plant I think you should call it "Damn Buster"
YOu should call the Lancaster during the dambuster raid.. "The DAMN Buster"
Believe it or not, that brand of bomber is called flying fortress
B-17 Flying Fortress

Name for the plane : "The flying fire storm"
I like how it only took one shot to destroy the V2 xD
I KNOW ITS SO FUNNY
"The Blazing Angel"
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plays god music
Baron you can have a crew member get ammo and bring it into to cockpit area and drop it and stack it up so the front gunner only leaves his gun and grabs one that you left in the cockpit
Name it jeff!
MY NAME IS JEFF
The bouncing bombs were barrels they bounced on the water at the right speed altitude and tilt of barrel and plane
Can you name the bomber the Red Baron?
to extinguish the engines on fire, use the built in extinguishers on the engines. :)
Name it free candy
That's funny, attract them to their death....
You can drop ammo up closer to front gunner so he does not have to go all the way back to get it
call it Toast from above
Make your machine gunner wipe out anything if you see any kind of missile take it out with a few shots
Well BECAUSE this update is about Halloween you can call your plane the (BLOODY REAPER OR DOOMN CREW) lol btw bomb the base were you take a picture lets see what can happen imagine if you get more exp or more $
Lol baron always want more from a game 😅
flying bathtub
😂😂😂that 1 50 cal bullet that finished off the rocket was so satisfying.
Call it Boo! For the Halloween theme, I did that to my plane.
You need to use Evade Flak when you get int the heavier flak areas your pilot can use it
Good video Barron btw the German bombers were the worst in ww2 but I do agree it would be very cool to see other nations bombers
I think you can highlight a gunner and press R to have them grab ammo and walk back to the gun automatically
The Red Baron. It's just too perfect!
And I see that Ritchie is hanging on tight!
Baron call it the "deadly hedgehog " because it is bristling with guns
Hey baron. That was not a bf110
That was a ju88. Hey baron if you do a second campaign of this in the future you should use the lightweight engines and fuselages, see if the bomber goes really fast and you can outrun enemy fighters.
The Great Flying Pumpkin.
You should name the plane... Flying Metal Toaster Of Death!
Call it the Halloween Haunter (btw love your vids)
Baron give all your crew the oxygen tank upgrade
Baron start using custom headings when flying to go back to to evade flak etc.
Ritchie lives on !!!
Make the medic stay next the medic bad next to the back gunner and top gunner because those gunners take more damage and you can heal them before the time runs out!
It's named the nickname given to what it's based off of.
