  • Israel video tour with David Hyman, professional tour guide. The Church of the Primacy of Saint Peter is located on the northern shore of Lake Kinneret ( The Sea of Galilee). It is actually part of Tabgha and therefore 2 of the springs flow here (Tabgha is the mispronounced name of "Heptapegon = 7 springs). An ancient stone marks the place where Jesus and his disciples ate breakfast together, fish cooked on a charcoal fire. This event appears in Jhon's Gospel chapter 21 and happens after the death and resurrection of Christ, and therefore is considered the third apparition of the risen Christ. After breakfast, Jesus calls on Peter, affirms his love to him, and orders him to continue the leadership role of the flock, with the words: Feed my lambs, tend my sheep, feed my sheep. Since this is the site that Peter received the Primacy role in the church to be, the site was visited by two Popes and alters and the brass doors were built in their honor. After the visit t the church, join me to the Ein Ayub waterfall spring, to enjoy some refreshing views of the lake

I am sure it would be so interesting to hear your insights on things as you walk about it. Im not sure if you have already done such a thing though.... I remember you said the Jordan River flows into Lake Galilee
    Were those 2 springs?

    • @IsraelwithDavidHyman
      @IsraelwithDavidHyman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The springs shown in the video do flow into the Lake but they aren't the Jordan River. When the Jordan reaches the Lake, it creates a lagoon , a delta with many small branches of the river flowing into the Lake.

    🙏🏼The church of the Primacy of Saint Peter is where Jesus told Saint Peter to "Feed my sheep" (read ♥️John 21: 1 -24) and by doing this Jesus made Saint Peter as chief among all the Apostles, the Prince of the Apostles he is called .

    Nice background music. I recognize it as “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” Here are the lyrics for anyone interested.
    What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms;
    What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms.
    Leaning, leaning,
    Safe and secure from all alarms;
    Leaning, leaning,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms.
    Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms;
    Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms.
    Leaning, leaning,
    Safe and secure from all alarms;
    Leaning, leaning,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms.
    What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms;
    I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms.
    Leaning, leaning,
    Safe and secure from all alarms;
    Leaning, leaning,
    Leaning on the everlasting arms.

    The "Primacy of Peter" applies to St, Peter himself, who heads the Church in Spirit, the Church Faithful (off whom I be a witness) to whom applies the word "Infalliable"
    ,The Poniffic or Patriarch sits in his Chair which is Peter's & are prone to Error, like the present Pontiff who Err by "Blessing Sodomic Marriage" using Language Semantics,, Lust as Love , contrary to the word Blessing, which in truth is to be "Fruitful & Multiply " like do the Protestants unto Protestantization,
