Let's build a Byte Farm and unlock a Gateway Chamber in Astroneer!
The Byte Farm will provide us with UNLIMITED bytes, enabling us to unlock everything we need.
And unlocking the Gateway Chamber is the first step towards awakening Atrox!

You can make power farm using tapper, furnace ( or portable furnace if you have one ), medium generator and autoarm so you don't have to refill it. Also try getting shreder for trades. ( Sorry if I made a mistake)

get unlimited power using tappable plants! (This might not be a whole video idea, but a good thing do do in any save) A honeypot on atrox produces one organic every 10 seconds (I think), a medium generator eats up one organic every 120. You can power 12 generators, producing 108 units of power, minus a few from the auto arms and smelters required. A portable smelter(s) is best in this situation, if you can find them.

(Sorry for clogging your comments section) You could make an automatic scrap farm, for virtually every resource in the game (except gasses) if combined with the soil centrifuge. It might be fun to attempt to beat the game, or even just do missions such as rails or xenobiology. P.S. get a hoverboard, it's so worth it. I got one in the early-mid game and it helped so much in the future.

You should use the tapper to get organic easily for a bunch of power. Unless there’s no tappable plants on Atrox but idk 🤷‍♂️😂

There are tappable plants, but I filmed the video before the Verdant Update came out. So there were no tappers at that time.

You can easily automate the generators by tapping the pink honeypots with green flowers, they generate 1 organic every 10 sec, so one honeypot can supply 12 generators.

Yeah, I built some infinite power farms like that last week! But I filmed this video before the Verdant Update, so there were no tappers...

Maybe a new update messed that up. It used to always work. I'll read the bug fixes and all additions from the last couple of updates to understand what changed.

How does the byte farm for 24/7. Doesn’t the game stop producing bytes when idle?

It does it as long as the game is running on my pc.
It's 24/7 in the world of Astroneer, not in the real world.
