Seattles LOB had them and Tampa definitely had a tackler in Ronde. When teams don't get that edge for free against a secondary in the run game it can destroy game plans. Rule changes seem to be just to go around the run game entirely and support the pass.

Totally forgot about this guy. Whatever happened to him? It's sad what RB careers are now. I miss the days of legendary RBs having 10 year careers. Now teams squeeze them for all their worth for 4-5 years and that's pretty much all you ever hear from them.

Matt Giordano was so bad at tackling and coverage. He was a liability out there. The LBs were garbage too. Miles Burris, Philip Wheeler, couldn't maintain their gaps and missed a ton of tackles. Dennis Allen wasn't a very good HC in Oakland. But he had nothing to work with. Our best player was an old Seymour who was waaaaaayyy past his prime. Tommy Kelly was decent, but other than that the Raiders defense had practice squad guys playin/starting.
Oh yea in addition to the LBs not holding their gap responsibility, they would just get completely annihilated at the point of attack. Couldn't hold a hard edge to save their lives.
