The snow piles aren't so big now at the beginning of the snowy season. But as the snow piles up they'll get bigger as you we'll know Jason. This is only the beginning of trains busting drifts and snow piles.❄️❄️☃️🇺🇲 Stay warm and safe out there.
On that long run, where no horn zone ,all that snow they plow up on track and train comes down and push the snow back in the road. Merry Christmas, Jason.
Stay warm, and stay safe out there, if the roads are slippery! As well as having your cell phone charged up, carry a blanket or two in your car, and some rand flares, or flash light, in case of emergency! Joe Bliss, Plymouth, MI.
So the engine clears the line then goes back for its train. Meanwhile the road gang plough some more snow . . . you get what I'm thinking 🤣🤣. But hey, you got your video, bonus 👍👍👍👍
LOL about the yellow light...we call that "what yellow light?". We finally got a few inches of snow in Muskegon. Not as much as I was hoping for but it's a start.
That US 2 goes all the way to Everit Washington. At Interstate 5. Which is just north of Seattle. It also follows the BNSF line that the Empire Builder uses. I was not sure you new that piece of trivia. Steven Sipes
nice video and snow after the train went by deer crossing the tracks in the back , where is this and i live in deerfield ma and snows hard here also how often trains run threw there and what railroad thanks.
I guess there's not enough snow to bother attaching a plow to the front. But might let them run a bit faster and make the road bed look a little more clean?
If you let it sit too long and another snow comes on top and the temperature drops to way below freezing big as it is the train runs the risk of derailing and God forbid take out the new fire hydrant
Jason, good day to you and everyone on you tube watching your videos, hope all is well with you and everyone else. Just wanna say I appreciate you and your videos of various people you record but at about 5:15 of your record of this video you ran a red light.please be careful, don't wanna see you get hurt or see you have to deal with the law.not trying to be critical but just wanna say I personally appreciate you and your videos.God Bless you and everyone else as well,Peace and blessings to you all.💯👍🙏✝️
Hunter of Trains is asked , by passerby , what your tracking buddy ? And isn’t your ear cold on that rail ! Deer in the background on the left , not running , it’s just a Train ! Deer are Smart in East Kingsford !
This is a Nathan P5 New Cast horn. Been around since 1977. One of the most dissonant horns since three of the five bells are within a whole and half tone of each other. Due to a casting mistake and Nathan just lived with it.
1:48 deer behind locomotive
Yep, I see it!
Joe
The deer appreciate the train clearing a path for them.🦌👍❄️
Friendly Engineer. Good kindness always goes a long ways.
Deer in the background @ 1:50 mark is very 😎...
Just standing there, watching the engine go 'away'.
Went back and caught the deer casually crossing behind the engine. Pretty cool
@1:50 if the numbers are highlighted just click on 'em and you'll be transported right there. "Dashing through the snow, in a rusty Chevrolet..."
One of my favorite combinations, trains and snow!
Awesome seeing trains in the snow! I like the deer crossing over the tracks after it watched the train. Nice that they waved to you also
Thank you very much! That was a change for the good, hopefully.
The first wave ever in all your videos I’ve watched, congratulations!!! 4:14
Yes I saw the deer cross right behind the engine LOL
Something relaxing about trains moving snow. Love the way the brake hose and M.U. cables flop around on the pilot. Thanks man!
A great video of engine pushing snow and Jason filming it thank you Jason !
Wow, a wave. Now that`s a major breakthrough.😮
Cool seeing that deer at 1:50😊

WOW you are really getting a lot of snow !

Very cool video Jason thanks, friendly new engineer too, nice!
nice, least some of them are nice with a wave
Perhaps the holiday spirit made that wave possible? Tis the season.
How many of your viewers saw the deer crossing behind 501?
On that long run, where no horn zone ,all that snow they plow up on track and train comes down and push the snow back in the road. Merry Christmas, Jason.
Loving these vids, watching from the tropics in a tee shirt and shorts. Please cue more ice and blizzards.
Great video!! One of my favorites of yours in a while!
Nice hot shot of Whisky would be nice in that ice cold.
Lonely engine plowing snow great video thanks Jason

My two favorite ways to watch trains - in the snow and in the rain. This captures the first. Great video Jason as always
Good video! Nice shot of deer behind the engine. Got a wave from the engineer! Watched 501plowing some snow off the tracks. All around good one!
I enjoyed that video👍👍
I ran a ballist regulator and clear crossings until snow got to deep
Another great video, thanks Jason!

We're is the freddy on the back of that engine lol
You did see that deer in the long distance view behind 501 coming in to East Kingsford.........................
did anyone seen the deer behind the train?
So the engine clears the line then goes back for its train. Meanwhile the road gang plough some more snow . . . you get what I'm thinking 🤣🤣. But hey, you got your video, bonus 👍👍👍👍
That little snow on the road @ 4:24 would shut down the entire state of Alabama
How many snow plows does Alabama have?
Happy New Year
LOL about the yellow light...we call that "what yellow light?". We finally got a few inches of snow in Muskegon. Not as much as I was hoping for but it's a start.
We never have snow in England Stoke-on-Trent
Neat to see Carpenter Ave... from a former Yooper.
Awesome video 😎👍🇺🇸🚂❄️
Great Video
Amazing ❤🚂❤
Did you see the deer behind the train? 2:00 minutes in the video.
Yup.
Dude did they put a new horn on that thing

It also goes across northern New England

I suspect you've been to the rr museum, green bay. lol
Singing some ingle ells, eh?

the "cow catcher" is an effective plow for those conditions and more.
@@raybankes7668 Do they still MAKE "cow catchers" for modern Diesel locomotives?
Great shots there mate!
Thanks a lot!
good train video
Did 501 get a new horn?

Wow! I'm impressed with how street department can clean roads!! My lousy town these morons can't clean roads! Great video Jason
You’ve had your issues with RR personnel. Hope it’s going better!
No moose in your last video but you bagged a deer at about 1:50 in this one.
Fantastisch Video toll gemacht weiterhin good Lucky Train..Happy Christmas and Happy ney year. God save you 🎅 san 17 12 2022 oo: 09h
Did you see the dear behind the train after it went by??
After others seen it.. ha ha
They'll be lucky if they don't lose the MU hoses on the left side since they didn't fasten them down behind the plow.
Joe
Huh why

It looked yellow to me when reached the intersection. And using a heavy brake application on slippery roads might be a worse decision.
It was yellow. Changed red as I crossed under. I could have slammed on the brakes and slid right off the road, or thru the intersection.
Maybe they’re crossed trained to be engineers and conductors. Saves the rail road money
👍
So that is the only one that has arms that Crossing do the rest of them have feet
Did you see the deer 🦌
Jason you sound a nice young chap. Where are you filming from?
There’s a deer behind the engine to the left
So, panhandlers don't show up in winter, eh?
Nope.

Don't quit your day job lmao
This is my day job. lol
@@jasonasselin I meant your singing lmao
@@jasonasselin oh and I like your videos
@@jasonasselin Somehow Jason forgot to mention the deer 🦌 😅
1 locomotive. I don’t know if that constitutes being a “train”
Train horns use to be melodious, now their just loud, and obnoxious.

@@gaspowertoys .
That's the point
They're load & obnoxious due to car sound proofing, and people are in a big hurry.
Prefer steam whistles. My uncle used to work for Leslie...
Waste of diesel
Snow is illegal where I live...
