I remember playing this bit for the first time and being so invested for like 2 minutes. I'm glad we're getting way more Basim but it was so confusing how this one cutscene was so well written and interesting compared to most of the game
maybe its Loki AND Basim.. Probably basim experienced something similar to Loki, and that what makes him accepts his memories as Loki (intense but brief..?) my guess is that it has something to do with Nehal and Roshan in Mirage.
It may be that roshan takes nehal out of basim's life, and Loki can convince Basim with this talk of "I also lost someone special to a person I trusted"
@@Lucca-e2nI can definitely see this as a solid theory, Maybe Roshan sees Nehal is holding back Basim's true potential as a hidden one and Loki convinces Basim to avoid her - it would make for a very sad story considering Basim and Nehal are close friends 😢 Basim does refer to the person who took away his son as a "man" so I don't think Roshan had something to do with it.

I really loved this scene too this game is so underrated. the ending was amazing too
